We're doing a bit of a self-made pub crawl of downtown Honesdale and only came here for the delicious brews... so we thought. We got a couple appetizers after our wonderful waitress suggested we try the dip here (great suggestion). Service was great! Our server was on the spot with all of our orders, drinks came out quick. The kitchen had our appetizer out almost as fast. Ambiance is pretty trendy. Painted concrete floor, oversized steel chandelier, wood accents, and painted murals adorn the walls. The brew works can be seen through giant glass windows.

They did a nice job cleaning up the old outdated Irving cliff brewery. I'm happy they have liquor now, because I prefer tequila over beer and my husband likes to try the ipas. Food was good we split the smash burger and yummy!!!! Beer was mediocre. The bartender was so sweet. He was friendly and didn't mind chatting with us. I felt terrible when his manager came behind the bar and basically yelled at him to go home because it wasn't busy. He looked crushed. It was very inappropriate of the manager. All the patrons at the bar got their checks including us. We tipped him and empathized. Of course it was terribly busy at 2pm on a pouring Saturday. It's in between lunch and dinner...

A very good variety of beer something for everyone. The quality of the beer is okay some better than others but none we had were bad. The dry apple cider on the guest tap from Ritters Winery and Cidery is excellent highly recommend. The service was not very good when we were here which dropped it a whole star in my rating. Also, the ambiance here is very nice and simple.

Chicken bowl

Apps were good! Main entree terrible! Got the chicken bowl . Chicken was dry corn was canned . My husband had the pull pork sandwich. Very fatty! Service was great except manager. She hangs at the bar , when people come in she jumps to seat them . Told her we wanted to sit at bar told us there were plenty of seats ( the same one she was hanging at) there were none had to go back to where she was standing ask for a table . No apology. She seemed bothered . Waitress was great! Second time we were there manager was unfriendly both times . Would only go back for drinks and apps .

We had frequented their predecessor ,Irving Cliff, in the past. The beers are lackluster. In all likelihood, we won't be back.

Start with the delicious Dill pickle dip and definitely try the brisket burnt ends.

Log Tavern is currently our favorite place in the Poconos (after the Dairy Twist of course). Three…read moreof us came here for drinks and pop-up pizza on early Saturday evening and had such a great time. AND the food and drink is delicious?? We have found ourselves a Milford unicorn! The taproom inside feels cozy, and the two young women working were super sweet about getting us samples and drinks. Get the Endless Summer! It's a light, refreshing beer with the perfect hints of cucumber and watermelon and it is absolute heaven on a hot day. The lime lager was also excellent. We took our drinks and went out to the patio area under the tent where they were doing the pizza vending. There was a nice vibe in the air: a mix of folks and ages, but everyone just chilling and having a fun time. Bugs weren't too bad! The outdoor pizza set up is John's of Arthur Ave, which we have always had as to-go, but wow, they are bringing their A-game here with the outdoor ovens! The pizzas are INSANELY GOOD! Like, Razza-style impressive. We were seriously blown away because it's nothing like what we've had in the past from there. We ordered their white pie with ricotta and the "Bronx Bomber." DAMN. Perfect char and chew on the dough, and while we know that the ricotta on the first pie wasn't homemade, it practically tasted it. The BB pizza was outrageously delicious as well: loved the meat and banana peppers with the hot honey, which we're normally not a fan of, but it was perfect here. Cannot say enough good things about the pizza! Overall, a wonderful visit despite a heated conversation about world events at our table! Four very happy stars and we hope to have just as good of a visit next time, which will hopefully be soon.

Solid beers; good variety,, chill place, nice outdoorsy vibes with plenty of outdoor seating.read more

The really spicy sauce is very spicy and doesn't taste great. We got it on the side which was a good choice. Wing was well-cooked and tender. Bread and butter type of stuff. I enjoyed it. However, I had some of my friend's pizza. Would be fine for kids. I was not a fan. I know NEPA folks have different standards for pizza and it may just not be to my tastes as a born-and-raised Delawarean. (I'm not saying Delaware has excellent pizza). The burger was good. Nothing to write home about. Server was friendly. Cleared the clutter well and very personable. The key to this place is the ambiance and the beers. Great place to watch a game with friends. Perfect amount of patrons. Looks clean and cabin-like. Located outside of Lakeland orchards on the way south. I imagine the place would be receptive to larger parties if you called ahead. TLDR: Overall good experience, go for the vibes and beer. Stick to bar food.

We were traveling through the area and looked for a local brewery for dinner once we arrived. I…read moremade a quick reservation on Open Table because I wasn't sure how busy it would be. Because of traveling through, we didn't realize it was karaoke night. It was very entertaining but very loud for a family-friendly dinner. I'm no pearl-clutcher, but people were swearing while singing and talking into the microphone in case that is not your thing. The beer was all very good. Probably the most pleasing assortment of beers we've had at a brewery in a while. I had the Whistle Wheat Ale w/ Blueberry. Among the table we also had: Gooseberry Gose, Smooph and Hillclimb Hustle. We ordered tasters of the Mango Habanero and Blackberry Jalapeño. All were delicious. The food mostly got thumbs up. The homemade pickles were SO close to being amazing. They were hammered with salt. I couldn't even finish one of them. Maybe someone went a little heavy with the salt on this batch. The Mushroom Swiss burger had the same issue: something in there was over salted. Not sure if it was while cooking the mushrooms/ onions or in the aioli. Someone at the table ordered the chicken sandwich and it.came out a bit overcooked. For the thumbs up: the Outpost Burger, the pizza, and the Blackened Chicken Fajita wrap. Giving 4 stars because the beer at the heart of the brewery was so good. The food was hit or miss but is worth a stop. Karaoke was funny but listening to the same three people sing over and over - maybe it's not the right entertainment? Or maybe it was a bad night and I'm just a random tourist swinging through town. Totally possible.
