Stiiizy Torrance I…read morejust had the rudest experience by the security guard at Stiiizy Torrance. Serena (the manager) was very sweet and helpful afterwards. I walked up and the security guard started asking me questions about how many times I've been there. I politely asked, "why are you asking that question, you have my ID in your hand." His exact words were, "It's just a question buddy"....thats when the conversation went left. This little guy (with a Glock on his hip) proceeds to tell me about his amateur boxing record of 16-1 HOW INSECURE CAN ONE MAN BE? PATHETIC & SAD! I used to work as a security guard over 30 years ago when I was a kid and I know for a fact that is NOT the way you're supposed to perform your duties as a security officer. Just disgraceful behavior. Then he had some MORE unkind words to say to me as I left....I laughed at him because he was NOT a threat at all.... Just for clarification, I'm a Black man who stands 6'3" and weigh about 260 lbs....ppl don't USUALLY start up with me! This sorry excuse for a security guard is a lil' white guy who stands a few inches shy of 6'0". He had his dumb mustache that you would've seen a state trooper wearing 30 years ago. On his best day, he might weigh 190 to 200 pounds. Now I say all that to say, at first, I didn't think it was a racial situation, but the more I think about it, he kind of reacted like an ignorant ICE officer if you don't "acknowledge his authority" (said in my best Cartman voice )....I guess I just didn't "RESPECT HIS AUTHORITY"....or maybe his ex-girlfriend was stolen by a Black guy, who knows ‍
