I have been an infrequent patron of Sandbox in the past 5 years of living in Redondo to buy a vape or a new bowl piece and the service has always been great but yesterday I had a truly awesome consumer experience and will go nowhere else for my glass needs. About a month ago, my 10 year old bong broke and life's been too crazy to have time to replace it so yesterday was finally the day! Erick helped us with all of our questions and needs, he was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything. Nothing about the sale felt predatory or like we were getting a bad deal, which I really appreciate! We were looking for a durable beaker style bong with an ice catcher and a percolator, no frills necessary, and we definitely had a price range in mind. Erick brought our attention to a "shatter proof" Realm treated bong that was perfect for our needs and in our range. He helped us with choosing a different bowl piece so we took 2 home, and he even threw in a protective carrying bag. The dude who rang us up was awesome too but I didn't get his name, long auburn-ish ponytail and facial hair, was kind and I think gave us a discount on taxes? THANK YOU! We aren't glass collectors, we want to use products for the long haul and we were on a budget. We walked out with more than we planned for less than we planned on spending and honestly just such a great buying experience all around, my fiancee and I were buzzing on the walk home just from how pleasant it was! Not only will you get great quality products, you will leave with a smile. We've been coming here for years and have made the best relationships with the staff. If you have Tom in the shop, you know it'll be a good day. We never have laughed as hard as we have in any other shop. We've ended up in there for 30 minutes some days. And If you need 48 toasters for 30 bucks, Toms your guy. If you don't understand, just ask him. Everyone's always super friendly, the variety is on point, we've even been given a demonstration on the unbreakable bong, shit won't break. My boyfriend and I have been going to the Sandbox for years for a reason. They have quality at all prices & the "mom and pop shop" feel is nice when you want genuine feedback on their inventory. We stopped by tonight finding gifts for the stoners in our family & the associate was sweet, honest, & helped us find everything in a short time (we had other places to get to -.-). On top of that, the manager was awesome enough to give us a deal & ordered an item we were looking for on the spot so he didn't have to tell another customer he didn't have something in stock. We purchased a roach clip that was handmade from a vendor who travels from Oregon. It works amazing and we hope people who visit this place purchases one to show the same love to small businesses. I'm writing this review because it's the holidays and they deserve the hype. If you want something nice for cheap this isn't your place.
