In the beginning of December, my family and I were in the process of relocating when my son's car started to idle very rough, luckily we had stayed the night in Amarillo. The next morning when we began looking for a repair shop, we were highly recommended A Town Auto, upon calling and speaking with them, they were very happy to bring in the car right away. Much to our surprise, it was a tensioner that had failed and they had a new one and the belt ordered asap! They completed the job for half of what I was anticipating and had us back on the road within a couple hours. I can't say thank you enough to this great shop and wonderful family! This came to $2300.00 $To save cost it was recommended that i have it (manifold) done to avoid duplicate labor costs. I drove vehicle for one day and it malfunctioned saying to check my gauges. I take my truck back in and they tell me I need head gasket. Oh, they say they'll save me some money because they'll do it minus the 2300.$ that I've already paid. It just adds up to 2400$ more dollars. Very disappointed to say the least. Seems they knew how much they were targeting from the beginning. I should have been informed (I was ill-informed) of the costs before they baited and switched them on me.

I had an issue on my car today and I called 8 min before they closed. Rodney told me to come on down and he would look at it to see what he could do. The shop was very efficient. As with all speedy oil change places, you have to provide all kinds of info..Name, Address, Phone, etc. Employees were friendly and it didn't take long. We are grateful for that because we have a long drive facing us. My only issue was that they didn't reset the maintenance message on the dash. I had to pull over and look up how to do that online. that made the experience annoying.

We called this Discount Tire (the nearest one to us at the time) and an absolute angel named Jayson answered the phone. He said he would stay at work late to help us out so we didn't have to camp on the side of the road for the night. When we arrived, he was there with his boss. Both men were so kind and helpful, I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this place. Luckily, the tire had the protection warranty on it and the new tire was in stock and fully covered. We were on our way in no time.
