Ordered tires on line on the Walmart app and came in to the auto center at my appointed time. I walked over to the service desk and the manager barked at me that I needed to check in outside with the order takers. I told her I had an email and that I had a barcode to scan and she asked me what time. When I told her it was for 1pm she told me it was 110 and that I was late for the appointment. She said anything over 10 minutes was late. When I asked how could I reschedule, she rambled on about call ins and running behind and getting slammed and said what time can you come in. I told her I could come in next week and she said oh no, let me check, and she proceeded to the shop area. After speaking to a technician, she said they could take me right after finishing a truck that was in process. I got in my vehicle and drove up to the bay and rolled down the window. The young man who checked me in asked me to pull forward just enough to be out of the rain, he checked me in and he proceeded to go inside to make sure the tires were here. Another female registrar asked me "what are you doing here", and i told her i was a customer and she responded, "I know, but what are you doing in here". At that time the young man was returning from inside with my tires and yelled out to her that he has asked me to pull my vehicle in to avoid the rain, the automotive manager followed and pointed and told me that I would have to exit my vehicle and walk around to the customer door and not across the shop area. The manager then proceeded to yell at her other female employee that she needed to be checking in cars. I found the experience to be rude, lacking communication, and not a customer centric experience. When I walked in the store, the manager apologized and said that they had 2 call ins and they were short staffed and running behind and I told her to stop and I said, "I don't get to say that where I work, that's my problem and I have to deal with it, I'm the customer here, it doesn't matter to me". Needed tire valves replaced for a trailer. A 5 minute job. It was going to be a two hour wait because they "are short handed". The only reason for two stars rather than one is that the manager suggested I try Juniors Tire on Stewart Rd - bingo! read more

Not a friendly staff at all... And customer service lacks something as does knowledge of automobiles... Bought two new tires from them noticed when I got home they were totally different than the brand they told me they were putting on and they charged me almost $30 more for each tire and my tire pressure light has been stuck on for three days now took it back today and none of the guys that they knew what the problem was and that I need to come back when a manager was there!!!!! I will not be returning here that's for sure I would have gone to discount tire but there is not one on the island!!!! read more

I've taken a few tires here to get patched and they get it done in about an hour each time for a fair price. I've also gotten an oil change done here with no complaints. read more

Terrible customer service. Staff is very unfriendly. They make you feel very unwelcome. If you have a dead battery, do not come here.

If you have a flat tire, drive on the rim to a real tire shop. I dropped a tire off to have fixed and figured since we needed a few groceries I'd just go to Walmart. My first sign I should have went somewhere else was when they told me it would be two hours until it would be done. I decided no big deal, I had already changed the tire and put the spare on. We got our groceries, went back to the house to eat dinner and went to get it two hours later. It still wasn't done. I'm not sure if it was the guy who was working on it just started that day, but if not they need a better hiring process. After another thirty minutes of watching him fight with the tire, he finally got it. I'd imagine castrating an alligator would be less painful than watching that. The next day when I went to swap the tires back around on our van I realized the inside of the wheel had quite a few gouges in it from him trying to keep the wheel clamped to the machine and remove the tire. I'll definitely be calling them and talking to a manager. Save yourself the time and hassle, go to a real tire shop. read more
