Last summer, I didn't need tires, but I did need help getting the tire on my zero turn mower back…read moreon its bead. Try as I might, I couldn't finagle that sucker on there so I finally put it on the trailer and drove over to Plaza tire. They were hammered and it was about 2 o'clock on a very hot August day. I was more than happy to wait my turn in line and just wanted to ask if they might be able to help me with this. Imagine my shock when one of their employees asked me to meet him at the trailer in a minute or two. I don't remember his name, but he was a slender older man probably in his early 60s with a beard and mustache. He proceeded to remove the entire wheel assembly from the front end of the mower since he also couldn't get it to reseat on the bead. Walked off with it, and about three minutes later he came back and reinstalled it. I asked him what I owed him and he said "nothing, I'm on my lunch and it only took a minute to do this." I insisted on at least picking up an 18 pack of his favorite cold beverage, and he finally, after three attempts, accepted. Skip ahead to last week and I remembered what amazing service I got there and how nice they were. So I took my little BMW back over there to get new tires and they had exactly what I needed in stock and within 45 minutes they were balanced and installed. I was able to purchase new tires for this car for almost exactly half of what I paid for the same tires in California six years ago. They're honest, you may have to wait sometimes, because they're incredibly popular with their customers, but you're gonna get your moneys worth and it's gonna be delivered with a smile. Their service manager is a really nice man as well. Don't sleep on this tire shop, they're fantastic.

I was the first customer to use an Emkay Fleet card for service and Lee had to spend a ton of time calling a bunch of different people to figure out how the shop would get paid. As a note, this shop is ALWAYS slammed, so the guys don't get a lot of down time to handle things when a customer isn't in front of them. I know Lee had to have been spending all his spare time handling my vehicle. In a time and environment where customer service is obsolete, Lee is exceptional in all facets. Further, this is where I bring my personal and work vehicle and will continue to do so as long as I live in this area. It's not only because of their fair pricing, but mostly because of the incredible customer service I've experienced EVERY SINGLE TIME I've been there in the past 5 years. Plaza got a gem when they acquired this shop!

EDIT: Victoria requested that I give her a call to discuss the issue I had today and I have now…read moretried to call 11 times and every single time you call the number it asked you if you have a service issue and when I click the appropriate button it puts you on hold and then hangs you up every single time. Why am I not surprised? So then I tried to call their corporate number directly and the same thing happens. Give it a whirl yourself, you can't get through to a human being and it sure looks like they're just trying to make themselves look like they care about Customer Service by posting a little note here but not bothering to follow up with me directly. That location has all of my information, including my phone number and email address. If they wanted to reach out to me they could, but I don't think this is a legit concern of theirs. But it should be. ------------- I don't know what happened to my old review which was fabulous from last October 20 24 but my God was the experience a complete turnout today. I pulled in simply looking to get my 2016 BMW 328. I oil change and a radiator flush. That was at least a couple hundred dollars worth of work for them. The old staff was nowhere to be seen and in their place for two gentlemen, one of him cussed like a sailor throughout the entire process of working on the car in front of me. He even apologized. It was getting so bad and I don't have real thin skin, but after a while, the language becomes highly unprofessional and is not appropriate for the workplace. Put it this way, it didn't bug me so much but if I'd had my grandkids in the car, there words. Anyway, I understand people have bad days so I let it slide right along with the nearly 30 minute wait with no one else in sight except the lady in the SUV next to me. If you have three bays, then you should have at least enough people to cover two of those bays but here was Kevin & Scott wandering around pounding on stuff, throwing tools & cussing like a sailor while making the other woman & I nervous wondering what we'd gotten ourselves into. She finally pulls away and they can't figure out how to get my hood opened, all you gotta do is pull twice on the handle just like any other BMW. Then one of them gets under the car and starts wanking on my drain plug while the other, one bumbles around with the oil filter tool, dropping stuff in my engine bay onto the guy below and finally becoming livid because the oil filter their system suggested does not work with my car. Now they're back at my window telling me not only can they not get my oil plug off because they don't have the right tool, the same tool that they had the last two times I was here, but the oil filter is wrong and they do not have one in stock. The one who appeared to be the manager who I think is Scott assured me that he was not able to get my oil drain loose, so there was no oil wash. My car is not burning oil, but he insisted on adding a quart. Even though I told him not to because it can be bad if you overfill your oil. I'm now parked waiting to get an oil change elsewhere because I'm terrified to drive the car and blow the motor up. He swore up and down it wasn't leaking, but I pulled over as soon as I left and it was indeed leaking pretty good and it was not leaking before hand. This car has been Treated like a cream puff and is in fantastic shape so I'm pretty upset that these 2 Bumbled Their Way into what appears to be a good oil leak at the very least. I think the copper came when they swore up-and-down that I was nowhere in their system yet I was handing them an electronic coupon because I receive coupons weekly from take five.... BECAUSE I'VE BEEN HERE TWO TIMES BEFORE HAND. But they insisted that I was nowhere in their system and then Kevin began demanding to see my receipt for my previous visits. I drive this car may be 5000 miles a year and I was here last November. I showed him all the emails that I've gotten over the last year and I would not have gotten those if I weren't in their system i.e. if I weren't already a customer. He demanded, literally demanded to see a printed receipt to which my response was it's not 1953. I don't cart receipts around for a year for an oil change. He thought I was being rude, but I thought he had already been rude and I was just giving him a little bit of the same energy. Needless to say, I pulled off and I'll never be back. I don't know what the heck happened here, but I went from having the absolute best automotive experience with cake five last November to wanting to just go ahead and squirt, hot oil all over these two dangling because I don't think either one of them could wipe their butt if you held their cheeks for them.

After waiting all day for info on my car, i called right before closing and hadnt gotten to my car( lady on the phone in the shop was talking to a friend on the phone about the friends car. [ i assume they worked their friends car before mine, and she wasnt even present.] Anyways. I get a call the next morning confirming my repair order. They finish in a couple hours and i come pick up my car for a price cheaper than my quote, but i didnt question it and paid ive been coming here for over 15 years. I get home park and have yo leave to the store later and i notice the same giant power steering leak puddle that was fresh. I head back up to western auto expecting my mechanics to have my back but to be greeted by a rude lady at front counter. I voice my frustrations at the situation and explaoned how daft it was replace my power steering pump when the hose was the part that was leaking. It was a steady drip falling right onto the pump itsself. If the mechanic would have inspected the repair he would have seen it. Mechanic comes out explaining hisself and the situation and couldnt justify why he didnt do the work i asked for other than to save me money. They couldnt fix their mistake and asked me to come bacm on new years day. I did and they were too booked to get me fixed on what was said was less than an hr job. No accountability, the front counter lady claimed i was cussing at her and even tried to tell me to take my business elsewhere. Its a shame the owner died because what we are left with is not western auto. This business will replace parts without your consent, and add work to a bill that was un needed. Ive had two issues in the last 12 months, and with my last visit they never gave my engine cover back. After speaking to them twice about my frustrations they would rather burn a bridge than fix a mistake they made.
