They were timely, trustworthy, and affordable. If I was living here long term, Simms would definitely become my regular mechanic. There is no real "waiting room" area, so if you need to leave your car for a period of time, I suggest bringing a book, if it's a nice day, a drink on the deck at the Asylum in the sun is a nice way to pass the time. The Wild Bean coffee shop is another place within walking distance to enjoyably pass the time as well. 10/10 would go back to Simms.

I was quoted over a three hundred dollar service price for the rear arms and maintenance fees from the service guys. I was charged 85 dollars for them not doing the service correctly. I called a local subaru dealership to have my vehicle aligned properly and checked to see if the arm replacement was necessary on the rear. On March 9th 2026 I had my vehicle serviced by Subaru. The alignment was completed the adjustment was done right this time. I returned to factory tire requested to speak to the owner. I informed her of the issues and requested a refund. The owner decided to check the alignment that was "done" on the 5th. She stated that she would only give me half of the refund. Upon looking at their machine the vehicle was not aligned the exact same specs were on their machine as well as the print out from Subaru! I requested my refund again! The owner then walked away from me. Stating "I will get your refund, don't bring your black ass back here!" I then asked for my paperwork from her. At which point she assaulted me with the papers in her hand. When I made a comment about that she asked her employee as to whether she had hit me with the paper. He stated that she had not. I was standing in between the two people at the time of the incident. I absolutely do not recommend this business to anyone! This is the most unprofessional environment I have ever encountered. I have to wonder how many times they have charged people and not fully completed the service.

Greenbrier wanted 3000 over CARFAX value and it was priced 4-5000 higher than similar local vehicles. I was after a specific metallic orange color which is why I was looking out of my area. First their salesman said the repair was 4,000 and they'd have to charge me more to sell me the truck! Then the sales manager called to say they'd fix it for the same price or take it to auction if I didn't want it once the report came in. Next morning the rep called and said everything was fixed (?) and I should come get the truck. Huh? Then I finally got the final carfax pictures and report, saw all the cosmetic damage, and I told them I wasn't paying 23k - never heard a word back offering to reduce the price, and the truck was taken off the market. Total waste of time and money. Thank goodness I had the sense to get an inspection....please make sure if you buy a vehicle here you get it checked over first.
