Just a reminder for those with "collision avoidance" systems on their vehicles you must disengage this prior to entering this carwash since the carwash uses a drag chain conveyor and if your collision avoidance system activates as you are pulled through the wash your wheels will lock up even though your transmission is in "neutral". The results could snap their chain or conveyor belt (our dealership pointed this out when we were purchasing our vehicle). You can turn this on and off in your vehicle settings menu. I purchased the $16 wash package and couldn't of been happier with the results after spending all day driving the shell and dirt roads exploring Avery Island and Jungle Gardens. If I lived in the area this would definitely be my car wash choice...

Last week I brought my Chevy Silverado to have my tire pressure monitors replaced/serviced. This was the second time in about 4 months to have this done. No problem, chalked it up to "it happens). I was told at that time my brake pads needed to be replaced as well. My monitoring system said I had about 25% left on pads. Couldn't do it then because of time. Under normal situations I would have my regular mechanic (automotive plus) do this work but since they identified the problem I said what the heck. I called yesterday set up the work and wanted to have it scheduled for this morning, was told it would take about an hour and a half and I would wait. i also decided to have an oil change done which would qualify me for a tire rotation (This was the second set of tires for the truck, both time purchases made at Delta). I arrived at 7:30am. The truck was put on the lift at 8:45. Bottom line: the administrator called me up to settle. She indicated the break pads didn't need to be replaced after saying they needed to be replaced. I asked her if the tires were rotated and she said yes. I went to the back to tip the technician as I always do. I asked him if he had rotated tires and he said no (I tipped him anyway, good Kid). Long story short: almost 2 hours for an oil change and this is all that was done. The bothersome thing for me was the Misinformation proved by the lady in the front. Disappointing.

I went to Delta World Tire today for a tire repair. When I arrived, there were only two people…read moreahead of me. Despite that, I ended up waiting for over an hour with no updates. I finally went up to the counter to ask for a time frame, and the guy at the counter--Will--basically ignored me. Another worker nearby noticed and came over to assist. Thankfully, he was able to get my repair handled quickly. After the repair was completed, I waited another 10 minutes for someone to check me out. No one came over, so I went back to the counter. Will told me he would get someone to check me out, but it still took longer than it should have. I ended up being there for nearly two hours for a simple tire repair. They don't have vending machines for drinks or snacks--just coffee--so waiting was frustrating. Meanwhile, I could see employees on their phones, seemingly unconcerned with the long wait times. I won't be going back to Delta World Tire. The service was slow, the communication was lacking, and the overall experience was disappointing.
