Instead of waiting for me to finish shopping, she asked me to move so that she could continue cleaning. I politely told her, "I am shopping, please wait." Despite this, she remained approximately 12 inches away from me with the loud cleaning machine and said "excuse me" three additional times, continuing to pressure me to move while I was trying to select my groceries. Having a large cleaning machine positioned so close to me while I was shopping made me feel uncomfortable and pressured to move out of the way. I felt bullied. Please be respectful of all customers. Her behavior was rude. Look at the woman looking at the worker in the picture. You can tell she was in her personal space as well.

Recently they did something to their self checkout kiosks so every time you scan an item and place…read moreit in the bag, the thing stops with a big notification and announcement "please scan all items before placing them in the bagging area", like you're a thief. You have to wait 10 seconds for it to go away to scan your next item and as soon as you bag that the obnoxious notice is back. God forbid you're trying to check out with more than a couple items or you'll be there for hours. I assume this is some kind of loss prevention thing but if you're that paranoid about someone stealing at the checkout then get rid of the kiosks and hire more checkers. And dont leave the self checkout as the only option at night. The only reason I ever went here was if I needed something later at night. Instead, from now on, I'm gonna drive the mile to the 24 hour Jewel Osco who don't call me a thief or waste my time.

I Pay for delivery and when a certain driver delivers, A., he once was over an hour late (food was in his HOT car over an hour--meat and frozen items and dairy were all WARM, ice cream totally melted). Always getting emails to give big tip (I am on retirement income and cannot give 15% tip-I give what I can afford). Check Meijer weekly ad online prices with Jewel and Pete's Market and Amazon - Meijer just as high priced or higher. Quality dropping. I would have to say the best and most exciting feature of this store is the computerized shopping cart. You have to experience this to thoroughly enjoy this place. When you arrive scan your phone, with the Amazon app, and you are done! Just throw your items into the cart and it tracks your purchases. When you are finished just leave. Items are charged to your account, The food selections are awesome and so are the fresh items. There are two huge negatives however. The biggest one being that the store is more than freezing cold. We had to leave early as we couldn't take it. And I have never had this issue in my life as I like it cold. But this was beyond nuts. Wear winter clothes when you shop here and complain about the frigid temp to the manager please! The other negative is that the prices are not good. Great selections but the prices are not competitive with Jewel or Aldi. However! If you are a Prime member there are many items with HUGE discounts that can't be beat.
