In nov of 2024 my wife was unexpectedly diagnosed with incurable brain cancer and none ever told us how long she could live, in February of 2025 she passed, During that time she was unable to shop at the local walmart store and I was also unable to shop because of some disabilities that I have, So I relied on walmart grocery's to be deliveries. starting in nov or dec of 2024 . when my wifwe passed away before we expected our oldest took over the walmart grocery deliver and for a good reason she had to use her phone number on my account which she did without any problem from walmart . E#verything went well until the the end of july. when our daughter tried to place an order for me and she was told my account had been deactivated, she made five calls over six days along with speaking with 9 people and spending 10 hours on the phone. to walmert customer service people. over the next sixs days. Only to be told serval different reasons for the inactive account. wAs different reasons each time,but always the statement your account would be reactivated in 24 to 48 hours which never happened. it was obvious that they would just lieing to get her off the phone, she called five times and spent 9 hours on the phone and finally when she spoke to her second supervisor she was told the reason for the deactivation was because her phone number was on two accounts , hers and mine, yet there was no problem in march when she added her number to my account and no problems when we upgraded my delivery service, if someone with a brain and little common sense would have notified us we could have resolved the problem instantly, but they did not notify us in any way shape or form. They just deactivated my account and left me without groceries. both our daughters work a 10 hours day so i was left streaded. During the six days that my daughter tried to resolve this problem with wal mart customer service she mad five calls she talked to 9 people including 2 supervisors one of which told her the problem would be resolved in 24 to 48 housthat wasas on her 3rd call. the same standard reason the on desk customer service fools gave, nothing but a lie(so ,we think)which again was a lie (so we think )e 2nd supervisor said one week and gave her of a totally difference reason than all the customer service people and thier supervisor gave us just to get us off the phone. .the same bull the customer service people had said. but the seoncde n supervisor told her the reason was caused by having her phone number on her account and my account, yet they processed the number fine back in march when she added it to my account. and they delivered my groceries for 4 months before realizing they messed up, the 2nd supervisoris the one that told my daughter rthe real reasonmn i was put on deactivation. she told my daughter that noemally it takes 30 days to reactive the account but being i was 86 y.o. and have disabilites she would pout us on a ruch ticket and the problem would be resolved in one weelk . the one week has yesterday and no worrd from wall mart. being an old man growing up in the 40's 50.s and into the 60's i aleways belived the customers were very inmportant to a business, but based on my coperation from wal maert i think thoses day are gon on e customer doesn't mean a thing to them you casn bet you*body Opert there will never be a product from wal mart in my house again. I worked in the aero space insdustrie for 30 years out bethye best manager i work fior always told ubnn the parts that you are trying to complete for out customer is important anf you should do what wever it tales to gwet that prodict done on time and at aresasonable cost, i alwatys tookthat to jeart and stoill believe in the philocify, also repect you custom asnth streat him/hetr ain a way wthat they will come back top you, it is obviious that wal mart does not heve that in mind. in closing i have done my best to correct most of my typing errors and tried to correctly most of them. , if i have misstated something then i apologize to wal mart for being human. i am not saying they are a terrible company i am just saying this has been the worst customer service i have received in the pasy 65 years sence i got married and started paying my own bills, hope this helps other people to know and hat t can happen with walmart what to expect from wal mar customer . sure as taught me a le my late wife and i shopped at wal marts for years, back in the 80's and later we traveled a lot in our rv and always shopped at wal mart for food when we stayed over night in an area. always found most stores to be very good, but this problem has really changed my opinion of wal mart management policies. the buck is more important than customer satisfaction, maybe i am wrong, thinking customer satisfaction is important. This is a corporate review. Probably mid-2024, Walmart made a conscious corporate decision to gouge senior citizens 2 ways with a product that seniors need almost exclusively - by increasing prices 40%+ and by changing product quality drastically for the worse. There are few products that are nearly exclusive to senior citizens, but incontinence pads is one. For years Walmart has nearly cornered the market with its affordable and highly effective Equate Options incontinence pads with 6 absorption choices, and at least 2 pad sizes. I have efficiently ordered them for my elderly parent for 2 years and Walmart delivers them out-of-state near the assisted living facility. It had been a steady price for at least a year, so I was not surprised to see a price increase, but 40%?!? Different size packages are now even MORE expensive! Still, at the time I considered the cost was still worth it because they had been quite effective - BUT NOW THEY'RE NOT! I questioned the verbal reports I was getting that it was a bad batch and caregivers in the facility were unhappy about having to launder trousers of the elderly daily because These Pads LEAK - SO BADLY, that IT'S AS IF THEY NOW WEAR NO PAD AT ALL!! They fail at the ONE JOB this product is intended to fix - LEAKAGE!! This is despicable. Walmart had earned a good reputation in this product market. But NO MORE! They should refund EVERY BUYER for every version of Equate Options incontinence pads whether or not they request it, and offer a BIG product-wide discount once they return the product to its formerly effective version. It's not like they don't know how to do this - they did it for years before November 2024. This is incomprehensible corporate greed at work, quickly losing their market share AND angering long-time patrons in the process. And to do this intentionally preying upon the elderly, many of whom cannot even travel to the stores for this, is just unconscionable. If you don't believe me, read the HUNDREDS of recent reviews of Equate Options products on Walmart's OWN store site. What used to be 4-5 stars reviews across the board are now 1's. Sadly, buyers of these pads stockpile them and may not open a recently purchased package for a year, so many are in for a rude awakening after they will no longer be able to return them. Walmart.com (ordered online). Refunded money for package not delivered after hours of calling customer service, carrier and emails to seller in China. Never received product and was charged again because didn't send package back to Walmart. Could send package because never received. After hours on phone with customer service who guaranteed refund after they charged me again, finally got refund and then closed my account. Walmart sets it up that if don't get package, you will be spending hours on phone trying to get resolved. From Sept. 30 th until today Nov. 26, 2024. CAVEAT EMPTOR applies. If purchase online and never get, you will be spending hours on phone trying to prove your case when they offer no evidence of delivery. read more

Wal-Mart and the Murphy's up the street are usually the cheapest around, but this Walmart convenience store was a penny cheaper when we drove by. Yes, it's a convenience store and not a full-size Walmart or even a Neighborhood Market. This is their first pilot of going after the 7-Eleven footprint. Very clean inside and as usual for the Wal-Marts in this part of the world, it is well stocked with the sort of stuff you'll find at a convenience store. Quick meals, drinks, snacks, candies and a sandwich place. What was so special? Well, the prices here are the same as they are in the full sized store. HowsAboutThat! I just reviewed a national brand that claims that are the place "with the helpful hardware man." Just not true! I live less than a mile from a Walmart on Cortaro Rd., Tucson, AZ. Frequently I go to the place with the helpful hardware man, walking out disappointed. I then walk across the street to Walmart to utter satisfaction! Thank you Walmart. Walmart Headquarters resides in Bentonville, Arkansas. I just downloaded their Walmart App. It's a nice App.... The Walmart Rx's and refills in a snap. Pay for orders via app is cool. The Gift Registry and Savings Catcher's cute and all, but us consumers desire more.... And an updated weekly sales circular's ain't enough. Consumers wanna shop for better deals. Daily deals and reloadable manufacturer coupons isn't much to ask for..... As it stands now, the Walmart App's easy to navigate and very basic. Y'all a big company, WALMART. This Wal-mart is a convenience store and gas station. The gas price always seems to be the cheapest around - so I always come here! I've been here at a lot of different times and never have to wait to pull up to a station - always nice. I haven't been inside the store, but it is new and large. read more
