Yesterday around 6pm after I paid for all of my items with the assistance of a Walmart associate, I was approached in the parking lot by an older hispanic lady who accused me of stealing. This was the most embarrassing experience of my life, especially since I DID NOT STEAL ANYTHING nor have I EVER. This women profiled me, and literally ASSUMED I stole something probably because of the color of my skin. A second security guard was placed behind my vehicle as I was loading my items into my car. I don't understand how it's ok for Walmart employees to just right out BLATANTLY assume someone stole, then have the AUDACITY to approach them with absolutely no evidence, or proof. Went to purchase a new sodastream co2 canister and return my core, that process turned out to be about as difficult as brain surgery for the employees. They requested an ID (which makes no sense since I'm just trying to purchase something) and when I showed them my state supplied digital ID, they refused it. Called corporate, they verified that my id should have been accepted. Employees clearly are not aware of state ID laws, and Walmart policy, just some old guy at being an a hole at customer service and making things up as he goes because he seemingly hates his life. read more

The incidents were tonight Saturday night 1/13/2024 at about 5:30 pm to 5:45 pm. I'm physically disabled and was using a walker and pushing a full cart to the self check out and was struggling when the computer had a problem and I asked an employee who was 3 feet for help and she stood there then turned around and attended to other customers. Then another employee was walking towards me and I asked her to help me multiple times while she completely ignored me and walked away, and a male employee came to help me and proceeded to ask me if I had gigantism and proceeded to ask me about my physical disability issues and flirt with me. This is the slowest Walmart oil change, tire center. They only have one employee who is over worked and it's too busy to have this kind of back up. There have been quite a few people who have left because of the slow check in. The lady in front of me called a place that's just down the street. They said they could take her right away for the same amount of money so she's leaving to go have her oil done right away. This is bad business for Walmart. read more

Bathrooms are consistently dirty and the last two times one of the stalls did not lock because the installation of the two pieces were an inch off. The people live up to "the people of Wal-Mart" hype. Open boxes of food, interesting clothing choices, etc. (Sorry to judge.) The employees are sadly no better. The last two times I needed help they were poorly trained, incompetent and fish out of water. I had to suggest "we" reach out for further assistance from their manager as it did not come across their mind. Walmart seriously needs to offer additional training and basic customer service skills. Snacks and candy...awesome selection and consistently well priced. Some of the housewares are nice quality but you have to look for the hidden gems. There's a country living line that's surprisingly well made and the floral print is really pretty. On an upbeat note, my husband has NO qualms about going to Walmart. BUT, he never asks for assistance and he shops in the early afternoon. That's the only way to do it! read more

Does Walmart not sell you items if they don't have a price tag? I came to this Walmart yesterday with my daughter. Got oil, a pair of shoes and this rubber snake my daughter wanted. I didn't realize there was no price tag on the rubber snake till I got to the register. First thing the lady says as she scanned my other 2 items was I can't sell you that. I said really? She says yea there's no price tag so I cant sell you it. Then she proceeds to mumble she believes it's 5.98. I told her no I saw it was 2.98. Instead of leaving it at that she goes "no it's 5.98". At this point I'm more upset because she's basically telling me I'm wrong. So I tell her I'll be back. At that moment she tries to tell me to look online. But I kept going. My daughter stayed behind and had let me know because of me leaving the cashier was complaining "great I'm going to have to start over". Complaining over scanning 2 items again I don't get it. I got to where the snakes were took a pic of the box and most those rubber snakes didn't have a price tag except for 1. So I took that one. I wanted to go to customer service to explain but line was long and I had somewhere to be. At this point the cashier had her light off. I went and put the snake on the belt and first thing she tells me is "I'm not accepting cash". Told her I wasn't paying with cash. Then she proceeds to say "oh I need cash that's why my lights off." So I ended up grabbing my stuff she had stored on a shelf and went to the next register. I tried to explain to that cashier she can keep the tag for the snake in case anyone else buys it so they aren't being told they can't sell it. She didn't understand English at all so I told her never mind. I ended up explaining it the guy who checks receipts and left him with the price tag to give the cashier so no one would have to deal with what I did. Such a horrible experience and horrible customer service and in front of my daughter. Cashier was an older lady, short haired. I didn't catch her name but my daughter said it was Rosie but not sure. Ok fine then I went back to try other things the NEW LAZY GIRL there says .. only 5 items at a time! Ok. idk WHO trained them but ok!! TODAY I WENT THERE again!! I go to the fitting rooms, the lady asks "how many items you have?" Me knowing it's either 4 or 5 at a time I said 5. Then she tells me, now it's either 5 or 10 items. Check this out, y'all ready? "Per day!!" She says! ( blown away!!) 5 or 10 items per day!!! Obviously this manager is the mommy dear that tells her kids!! 1 cookie per day sweetie, you eat one cookie a day!! LMFAO!! I was like wait! What! Who? She continued to explain that people try on clothes and end up not buying, and that they leave it to them too put away! I said yea.. that's your JOB!! To put things away!! I want to give a personal shout-out to Ana & Joshua who worked Tuesday, July 20 between the hours of 8 and 9 p.m. They went above and beyond to help me by walking my groceries out to my car. I was shopping with my 8-year-old son and 1 1/2-month-old newborn and when Ana at the register saw how overloaded I was with all the groceries I just bought while nursing my newborn under a cover she gladly volunteered to help me with getting my stuff to my car safely. Ana asked Joshua if he could get another cart for me to place my groceries and walk me to my car while she covered for him. Joshua without hesitation agreed to help. The best team honestly! THANK YOU for your amazing great service and for being so kind and helpful! I appreciate it! Came to get my tires done. They didn't tell me it would take 3 hours. It took them forever to check me in for my appointment. The guy inside doesn't know what the hell he's doing. I asked if he could tell me the total so I could transfer money and told me, wellll, if I guess it'll be around....and I stop him and say no, I need to exact total. Not a guess. Couldn't pull it up on the computer and wouldn't go ask the guy doing my tires. I hate Walmart. Next time I'll go some place else to get my tires done, it's 100% not worth it here. Hate this Walmart. Why does this one have to be the closest? I guess I will travel to the newer one that isn't as close when I can and when I feel that I have to go to a Walmart. I have never liked this location, but usually went due to convenience. Unless you come around 7:30 am, be prepared for an obstacle course of rude people, crazy aisles, and dodging the people left and right. The circus gets worse the later it gets. Well, I will even congratulate anyone who first survives the parking lot before they even experience that adventure. Short but simple. The staff and service here sucks and they are rude. I guess they are that typical hate their job so they don't give a crap attitude. The last two visits I made were to scope out getting a new cell phone with my husband. For some reason all their systems for phone upgrading were down. Luckily it was only this store. They said it would hopefully be up that day or the next day. I was fed up after I called later that evening to be told that it was back up. I went back, and it was still down, and I wasted my time and gas. A family member brought tires on Walmart.com which were installed at the Buena Park store. These were WALMART bought tires. The very next day there was a blow-out. AAA said the tire was over inflated. Who allegedly did that? However, the Walmart tire store said that it was a bullet hole in the tire which they could not prove! Christopher and Mgr., Jennifer supported this unprovable story and did not replace the one day old tire. Telling someone there was a bullet hole in their tire without proof was extremely frightening and unprofessional. They did not have the proof to know how to support that. As I said, AAA claimed that the tire was over inflated. Walmart's frightening yet unproved analysis was more than concerning. After several attempts a pleasant store operator, Marilyn was finally able to reach an assistant manager by the name of Seraphim. He did a "investigation" and referred me back to Walmart.com since he did not want to take responsibility for a Walmart product. Had we taken the tire to a different store in a different city, we most likely would have gotten better results. They don't seem to understand that unpleasant experiences are not something they want to be known for since they compete with their own fellow Walmarts for business. The items you buy here will likely cost twice as much or more inside the Disney Resort. They've got Disney shirts and hats, only not as vast a selection as you can find inside Disneyland. The irony is that they have a good selection of Disney stuff while being located walking distance from Knotts Berry Farm :-). read more

Very bad customer service in the electronics department. Cashier keeps doing the disappearing act. Staff keeps saying they dont carry stuff to get away from helping you and half an hour later you find the stuff in a different aisle. The staff in electronics is like having a vacation just talking about non work related stuff while customer was asking for help and walks away from customer to hide In the corner playing with their phones. I saw it. The products is under lock and key. Need staff to help them make a purchase, but the staff is always disappearing. Me and some customer on line got tired and frustrated that we left walmart all together. We saw each other again in target and was surprised to see each other. The target employees was helpful. Walmart needs to train employees not give them a paid vacation on working hours. They also have rude cashiers near the entrances. If they hate their jobs, don't complain to the customers.
