I came at this location because I wanted to purchase some stuff for the LA Rams because they have a very big playoff game coming up. This Walmart location has a lot of really good deals on that stuff so that's the reason why I came to this location. They also have some really good deals for Los Angeles chargers gear as well. They are not in the playoffs so I'm not going to purchase anything for them but next year if they do make it to the playoffs I will come back to this Walmart because they have a lot of really good specials when it comes to sports teams read more

I visited Walmart in Buena Park California to get my oil change and lights replaced at their auto care department. I arrived at 3 PM. The wait was over four hours long! They didn't finish the job until 7 PM. The auto department is severely under staffed. This is completely unacceptable Service. Additionally, the Walmart app said free installation. But they still charged for installation! Worst service ever. read more

While I was shopping today, about 5:45pm, I was in the Cosmetics department, when I saw an employee take off with my cart. I ran after him and I asked him Why he was taking off with my cart? He replied, in a very snotty, confrontational attitude, that he was NOT taking off with my cart!!! He stated that he was just moving it out of the way, so customers could get through. He was LOUD, and very NASTY, toward me!!! I asked the cashier, Brenda, If this guy was always so nasty to the customers? Brenda stated that she did not know. I asked Brenda for that employee's name, since he was not wearing his name badge. Brenda stated his name was Eric. I requested that Brenda contact a Manager, as I was NOT going to tolerate such disrespectful behavior. A woman named Guadalupe came and spoke with me. I told her how nasty and disrespectful Eric was and I asked her, Why the Hell, isn't he wearing a name badge? Guadalupe had the nerve to SCOLD ME - a CUSTOMER, ORDERING me NOT to CURSE at her!!! and she told me she will "speak" to Eric about his behavior toward me and him not wearing a name badge. I decided to take the high road, because if I got loud, in the store, they would have called the police on me and make ME look like the bad one. As soon as I arrived home, I called the store and requested to speak to the Store Manager, who was not available. I was told that someone named Aaron, will call me tomorrow, to further discuss the incident. I will continue my review at the conclusion of my discussion with the Store Manager and other appropriate personnel. Given this Walmart one too many chances. WORST customer service of all time. Every single time I come into this Walmart I hope for a friendly face or at least a helping hand, haven't ever gotten either. Today, I went in to buy some diapers. BEFORE proceeding with my purchase I asked if they price match WALMART ONLINE prices and they said yes, they price match online and on app prices. I showed them the online price AND the on app price but they wouldn't price match it because it was over a $20 difference. I don't see anywhere online or otherwise that states the price difference has to be a under a certain amount to price match. NEVER COMING TO THIS WALMART AGAIN. They close down the automobile section where you can actually utilize those cashiers to check out forcing everyone to go to the front where the lines are long because they are half staffed. Cashier Roberta was rude. I came in to get an oil change and a gift card. I had been waiting behind 4 people and when she saw me place the gift card on the table she told me I could go to customer service and purchase there. I did not because I had already been waiting in line over 5 minutes. She scanned the gift card card and said it was flagged for fraud so she suggested to go get a new one, and said again I can go back to the other side of the store and buy it, by this time 4 more people came into the same line and the more people who came the more it felt like she wanted me to move on. I did not move because I felt I shouldn't since I had waited long enough and only had one item. My boyfriend brings a new gift card and then she told him no he needs to get a different one, when he walked away for a second time to get a new card she told me I can go with him and get in the customer service line, I did not and simply waited for him to bring a new card, when she scanned by now the third card we brought, she said she couldn't ring it up and sent us to the customer service side. She made us feel rushed, and like she did not want to service just to get a gift card. We will not be back! read more

I ordered 2 small items online, they came on a plastic bag, unfortunately wasn't what I expected. Came to this walmart and lady at customer service (forgot her name but she is from India with all due respect) and she sent me to Walmart on Lincoln & Beach. When to the other one and employee told me that's so dumb! They just needed to tape the bag and print the refund's receipt. So thank you for that Lame customer service Buena Park. Saving grace was a young girl who was able to tell us where to pick up our item which turned out to be outside and around the back. Had the worst experience at this walmart. I was there to buy something I saw online. When to the store found it and when I went to check out they didnt want tp sell it to me because it was supposedly for a promotion they where going to have. Then i was told they wouldn't sell it to me because it was a recall item which it wasn't. Had like 5 different employees say they where managers but no one had a clue of what they where doing. They never resolved my issue and treated me like I was trying to scam them. Will never go to to this Walmart again. They dont need my money so i dont need them. COVIDIOT CITY! First of all, no wipes for carts. Security guard said they took them out; no way to clean carts now! "But there's hand sanitizer." Big help that is for cleaning carts. Well, maybe if I dig through my purse and find a paper towel, I could put some hand sanitizer on it to clean a cart? But the security guard has been standing right over the hand sanitizer dispenser, talking--and he's NOT WEARING A MASK! Maybe they don't have to do that any more if they're vaccinated? But when asked, he says he's NOT VACCINATED! Isn't it supposed to be one or the other, at least for people who are working in the store? (And yes, "Brosnan Security" guards ARE "working in the store" even if they're technically contracted through a third party.) The other security guard was wearing a mask under his nose or chin. WTF? It's supposed to be "Mask or Vax"--and that probably should mean PROOF of vaccination (for obvious reasons), at least for people who are on the job and working near the public! After some discussion (which of course got a little loud because I can't believe how idiotically and irresponsibly this store is being run), a manager or other store employee--ALSO NOT WEARING A MASK(!!!)--came over. (WTF? WTAF, people?!?) She GOT IN MY FACE, standing WAY too close--just as the security guards had--and said employees don't have to get the vaccine or wear a mask, it's left up to "personal choice" or "individual choice" or something like that. BULLSPIT! In a big box discount store, where people of all ages and health conditions have to shop for themselves and family members and others--some of whom are immunocompromised/children/can't get vaccinated for some legitimate reason, etc? And in a place where people of all ages and health conditions go to pick up PRESCRIPTIONS and other medications? NO WAY. No freaking way. Covid is not "over" just because we want it to be. Or because a vaccine merely exists (even though many people haven't gotten it or can't get it, and it may not work perfectly). This is no time to throw the health protocols out the window by not at least requiring vaccination (with proof) or masks--or both--and social distancing. At least for people who are on duty at a job. You might think a store with a "pharmacy" would be more health conscious; but it looks like this Walmart is not a safe place to shop--for groceries, prescriptions, or anything else. read more

It's taking me over a month to get my 20" Danby gas range replaced. No one at customer service seems to be able to help. They say it's not available. Just told to keep waiting or take refund. Had to go outside to the parking lot to get a shopping cart. No workers bringing the carts in for the customer.

Let me start by saying that this Walmart is my go-to spot. It has always been clean, neat, organized, and instock. The associates use to be happy. After new management this location has gone downhill fast. There are more out of stock items, the associates seem less happy and not engaged. There is a lack of ownership. They have recently installed lock up glass cases for multiple categories, including Tylenol which is a hassle for the customers. I understand this is a shrink reduction plan to help as a deterrent, but unfortunately I would rather shop elsewhere for my $2.99 Tylenol now. I will continue to shop at this location in hopes the Store Manager will hold himself accountable and fix his store. I would post pictures, but I would rather not shame the team. Its not their fault. This is Jan 2019. Lets see what the store looks like next year. November 2019 and it's gotten worse! The store is so focused on shrink reduction that they have forgotten the basics of retail; service, in stock, and clean. They are now locking up the men's underwear and socks in alpha boxes! I can only imagine that their shrink must have been to cause this horrible plan. This store needs a change in management. Today 12/21/21, I had to wait for 30 minutes, yes 30 minutes on the line just to get checked out. They offer self-service check out but that only works if you did not buy any alcohol items or you need to pick up a bottle if Brandy or Whiskey for the holidays. Here we are dealing with Roberta who is over 80 years old. You feel so sorry for the poor lady struggling to scan the codes. Lots of young workers are standing around while she suffers and customers' patience limits getting tested. This needs to change. Do better Walmart and the stupid store manager was unconcerned even when I approached her and registered my concern for poor Ms. Roberta. Went here on Easter Sunday and I was shopping around and saw some Canvus storage bin and when I went around the corner there was a clearance line on the display and signs it said anywhere from 597 to 5:13 when I took them up to the register to check out their ringing up 9.17 when the lady came over and checked them they came up as 597 I said well some of them are wrong and some of them are right she went back to the display and took a picture and there was a hot mess of them mixed up around when I stated that how am I supposed to know which ones are which price so that I can buy the ones that are less expensive told me well you have to look at them. I completely ask for a manager and Ashley came up and forth even get one word out of my mouth she told me to drop the attitude I said excuse me yes I'm upset I'm being treated like I'm a liar all I wanna know is the price of these they're mixed up back there I don't know what's what in the zoo. Ashley and I went back in caps and looked at them now some of them were placed in 997 and some and 597 but there was no consistent what was what it's told me well man just because something to clear it doesn't mean everything is clear it's underneath it I said I understand that but how am I supposed to know if Susie customer if there are two he'll totes when's 109 17 and the other ones under 597 how am I supposed to know what's the price he told me well the lady tried to explain to you I said yes but how am I supposed to know what is what. The whole time she had a security guard with her like I was going to hurt her or hurt somebody and as I'm checking out she had another woman up there and I asked her can I help you she said I don't like when people talk rudely to my employee I said are you the store manager no I'm just a front in an associate I said well back up I'm almost done and I'll be out of here she then rudely said there are TWO cheese danishes and I didn't see the one in your cart placed to be scanned... I assured her that the one I scanned was scanned twice and YES they are the same barcode...in Spanish she muttered something I said yes I did ma'am I got two of them scanned one twice and you have to scan them both I said they're the same thing honestly this will be the last time I will come to this Walmart cause I have never been treated as rude as this before in my life all over a simple four dollar difference When I called the next day I asked to talk to the manager and was told that he didn't take calls unless corporate called ... Well. I have been coming here for years now and it is finally time to call it. The employees are incredible. Including their automotive department, they put up with so much and are so incredibly patient. Thank you much. It really is the people who shop there and the location that have ruined it. This Wal-Mart has been forced to lock up so much of their product that when I went in the other day they had DETERGENT locked up. While I do commend the workers for their work ethic, I am not about to press a button and wait for someone to open a cabinet so I can buy laundry detergent. While it's less on the employees, it does usually take a bit of time which I do not want to wait for. I have also been bothered by the fact that you have to separately buy their beauty items AGAIN because of the location and their customers. I am an aggressive advocate for self-checkout which I love to use here but when I have to buy something from a cashier in that tiny area I am at a loss for words. I went to walmart today and one of the employees was outside selling all sorts of items from 1 dollar red bulls to 10-15 dollar handmade-necklaces. We got a 2 dollar snow cone and the ice was very hard and bad quality. They were also very small. We also bought double decker banana flavored Moon pies. I wish they had sold them in one pack instead of having only 12 packs I tried them in the car and they were terrible. I definitely wasted my money. read more

Can't truly shop in this store where items are placed high over your head (very much a non-benefit to try and pick them up!!!!) No one is around to help you be provided a needed question and insight!! Many of the employees are shacked with any supplements for their incomes and welfare!! Also, their health security are deductible for the size of their resource debt. This giant economic Walmart has smothered the BP mall and made it so that big name stores have not been provided there. Ashley the "manager" as she claimed to be (she had no name tag, no type of uniform or vest) who we had the unfortunate pleasure to assist us was very rude for no absolute reason! This Ashley couldn't answer a simple question without any sarcasm or obvious gestures that she in no type of way is trying to help! An elderly woman and another guy who work there asked her for help (I needed someone to get me a flat cart & they have to accompany you while you have it) MULTIPLE times in front of me and she literally rolled her eyes at them EVERY SINGLE TIME! When I finally said something to her she laughed and told the other manager to go while still completely ignoring everyone. She was absolutely rude. 2nd time being disappointed at the auto center at this location. This is just based solely on the auto center. The other departments at this Walmart are great. Came to check my tire pressure and while waiting for like 5 mins some guy pulled up. When the attendant was done with the previous client, he came up to me and informed me that he has to help the other guy first as I was only here to check my tire pressure (at this point he had not attended to the other guy to even know what he needs). Walmart is a place I do not enjoy shopping at. Located in downtown Buena Park, attached to a old school mall, sits a very old Walmart that closes early. The parking is terrible. The people inside get in your way. The Hulk or Beast as I call him likes to come here and look at the super hero cartoons. He has them all! Everytime he goes, he tells me the same thing..."I already have it" So he leaves empty handed. He also browes the toy isle, looking at toys. Yup, a 40 year old man going crazy over certain collectables. There is one thing he and I agree on, and its the prices here. DVDs and Blue Rays are cheap. I found one of my favorite movies here, The Sound of Music on Blu Ray. Complete with a sing a long version...Karaoke style. They also have a small section of books, which always turns me on. Dont expect a huge collection, but enough to keep me busy. I dont consider myself to be spoiled, but Walmart is not my cup of tea. That doesnt mean I cant buy my Kcups here. They have K cups....my Krypyonite as I call them in boxes of 18 for under $11.00. The better speciality brands are a tad bit more. Make up...thats something I like. But....the only make up I would ever buy here is Mascara and liquid eye liner. They have it here for about $5.50 each. A lot cheaper than drug stores or the big red bullseye. read more
