The majority of the flowers on display were the fall Chrysanthemum 9" mums. There were all kinds of assortments of those mums. I did notice some nice Montauk daisies that have still yet to bloom. I ended-up getting the Basil Everleaf Genovese plant and some awesome purple Petunias. There were a lot of leftover pumpkins and other fall stuff that were listed on sale as well. I wonder if this garden center sells Christmas trees, because I didn't notice too many things related to the Christmas holiday. This is a great garden and flower shop and it almost reminds me of my very first job at a flower shop when I was 12.

They setup it all up and take down after the holidays, making sure to leave the space clean and tidy. I don't have too much experience with their other services, but have had them assist with planter rotations and indoor decorative plants--all have been high-quality plants that haven't wilted or died prematurely. They provide proper care instructions and seem to really care about their services/products. Chuck is a joy to work with and always pleasant and professional. I did not see to many associates but the ones I saw, just walked past me except one. He asked if I needed help, but I had found what I needed. The place is remarkably clean. When I entered the store, I heard a young girl asking for assistance on getting down a green rug. This was entirely in Spanish, but evidently I am learning more words to understand what was being said. The checkout process was simple. I saw people at the do it yourself registers and one associate waiting for a customer. I walked to him and got checked out. I started filling out some questions for Yelp. They asked about bring dogs to Homedepot. To my left by the key machine, I saw a woman with her labrador retriever. My answer to bring dogs into HomeDrpot is... YES!...

We moved into a house last summer and first on my list was handling the yard. The backyard had a…read morelot of bamboo, and throughout the first summer and fall it spread significantly. We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.
