I was having a long day and dropped into this location to do some last minute grocery shopping, just to get the register and realize that I didnt have my card. Mariah, went above and beyond to help me process an online Instacart store pickup order so that I would not have to go all the way home ans come back. But beyond assisting me, I watched her bounce between registers and help other cashiers with refunds and more. Mariah is truly an asset to this store and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. This location is right off of Hwy 301 and very easy to spot. Sprouts markets are nice to go to and look at alternative and natural foods. We went down every aisle and looked at their items and definitely picked up a few things. Although the store isn't big like the super markets but they definitely have more selections if you're part of a certain diet or health fad. Only complaint is price point but you get what you pay for so I'm not complaining. Their keto chocolate was bomb! I am definitely coming back for more! Sprouts's is my main go to for groceries. They have a lot of natural food, beauty & cleaning products you can't get at regular grocers. They have 99 cent mgr specials all over the store, especially on Fridays. Their deli meats are Dietz & Watson, which I find to be superior to Boarshead. They have bakery fresh sourdough which is much tastier than any other grocery store around and is fermented enough that this celiac sufferer can tolerate it. They have a large variety of to go meals that are delicious and if you like fresh roasted dark meat turkey, they usually have that in the deli, hot and cold. Their customer service is great, especially at the Riverview store. And yes while they do charge for bags now, just remember to bring your own. read more

This location just opened 2 weeks ago. They will definitly stir up competition between Publix, Walmart and Aldi. Sprouts is like a reasonable Whole Foods. The produce dept is excellent. Fruits and veggies are fresh and well priced. The bakery dept is also excellent. Many items you will not find in the other mentioned stores. Has anyone tried fresh baked pistachio muffins. Yes they are green and delicious. There is a deli serving cold cuts, fresh made sandwiches, and salads. Also a large selection of cheeses and a an antipasti bar. They have meats, chicken and seafood cases which I will definitely return to try. The store has many items of groceries, toiletries from different manufacturers than Publix and Walmart. One if my favorite sections is baskets of nuts, grains, spices, and chocolates by the pound. Plenty of parking is available. read more

I've always said I wanted to live near a natural grocery store and now since relocating from Miami here I am! Just a couple of miles away from my house. I've never been to Sprouts before this but I must say I'm in love. Its reminiscent of a Whole Foods or Luckys Market. Today I came by for organic Espresso beans which I grounded in house, some natural cleaning products, Mango Lassi and some bakery items. I saw an amazing cheese selection (raw cheeses included), lots of produce, a stacked vitamin section and plentyyy organic options. Personal tip: refill your water jugs at the water dispenser found at the exit. It's 35 cents a gallon of Reverse Osmosis water (the best kind that you can find at any market). That is all! The store is nicely located, but I won't be back. I've shopped at sprouts in multiple states. This one had poor produce and seafood/meat. The produce was literally moldy on the shelves. Asparagus was dried up. Grapes were mush. The fish looked like it had been sitting out all day (and I was there at only 11am). The fish was dry and look slimy. The meat it the case was all sitting in marinade and also looked old. The pricing on the wine was way overpriced (a bottle I normally buy for $7 was on sale for $14.99!). The service was okay, but the product wasn't up to standard. read more

Customer service from the cashiers at store #623, couldn't get worse. I felt Alexandra, was being put out by helping me. As a Senior citizen who's never been in that store before in this area, cashiers might be friendly, that wasn't the case. I found everything I went for now that I'm lactose intolerant, but I'll try the store again, but our Sun City Center stores will get the bulk of my business, from now on. This was my first time at a Sprouts location, and it's safe to say this specific location has my standards set really high. The location is convenient, with more than enough parking available. Inside is very clean, organized, and easy to navigate. I loved all the products they offer, and their deli food even more. The sandwiches, both made to order and pre-packed, looked and tasted amazing. I got a custom turkey sandwich and a custom chicken salad sandwich. They were both so good, and only $5! Their sushi was pretty decent too, I tried their california rolls. The person at the deli was very attentive and friendly, he explained to me my options and even gave me a little side of extra pickles. Another thing I tried and it stood out to me was their sugar-free pies, I tried the apple and heated it up in the air fryer at home and it turned out perfect! Since they've opened up in this side of town, I've been periodically coming here for produce and other odds and ends. They're a bit pricier than the average grocery store depending on what you're getting. I would describe this grocery store as more of an organic, health-conscious store. The type of stuff they sell here in addition to regular groceries would be closer to that of Whole Foods. The produce is very reasonably price and so are the bulk dry items in the front. They have a decent selection of pre-assembled dinner kits that you can cook at home which I thought was interesting. I would still see myself going to my usual grocery stores and coming here only for special or specific items not found anywhere else, and produce. If you're on the organic and healthy bandwagon, I would definitely recommend getting your groceries here, but be wary of the prices. read more

Gigantic NEW store had their grand opening, received a free shopping tote for my groceries. Lots of friendly attractive people working here haha (not locals IMO) anyways the store is massive ! I personally was disappointed with the bakery department. Why because it only offered prepackaged items mainly cookies, muffins, pies, pastries etc. NO Cakes which is what I needed on this trip. I enjoyed browsing the aisles and bulk bins and being about to sample the demonstration tables. The freezer selections were great as was the milk and dairy options. I grabbed some cauliflower frozen pizza crusts, shelled walnuts, orange/cranberry scones grapes, refrigerated protein bars, almond & coconut milk and some new coconut creamer. Yayyyy!!!! So happy Sprouts opened today! I no longer have to drive to Lithia Pinecrest Sprouts, this is so convenient! This store has the largest stocked and most delicious looking vegetable and fruit department I've ever seen. They offer many different varieties of apples for example. You will feel like you're in a Farmers Market when shopping at Sprouts. Publix can't even begin to compete, this store offers so much more. Everything in this store looked fresh and delicious. The deli looked wonderful and the list of sandwiches looked yummy. Can't wait to try one. There is a large selection of nuts, all kinds of nuts. Candy coated or plain, sliced, chopped, whole. Etc. They are sold in bulk and you bag them yourself. The butcher selection and seafood selection all looked fresh and yummy. The bakery department had all kinds of breads, rolls, cakes, muffins etc. I actually bought a pistachio muffin to try. I've never seen that anywhere else. This is a grocery store that offers organic goods. You don't have to spend your entire paycheck at Sprouts to eat healthy. I thought the prices were reasonable and fair. The store was laid out well and was spotless. The staff were all throughout the store offering help if needed. read more

BRAND NEW STORE! Super clean and very friendly.... except for the employee who told me I wasn't allowed to take pictures. Yea, definitely made me feel some kinda way. On the Facebook event page they also stated that the first 200 would get 20% off their entire purchase... which they said was a mistake however they totally honored it when we were at the register which we appreciated. We waited we anticipation the opening of this store as we enjoy purchasing their organic products/brands. To our surprise the facebooks page for this location grand opening advertised a 20% off coupon to the first 200 customers, the wife and I thought it would be fun to join the opening crowd and take advantage of the discount being that Thanksgivings is right around the corner. Wednesday morning at 5:30 AM we got in line (3rd and 4th position), setup out zero gravity chair and hunkered down in a brisk 55 degree weather casually chatting with other future "Sprouters" who also anticipated the opening and the discount. At 6:50 AM the staff came outside and conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony, laughter and cheers filled the air. At 7:00 sharp Sprouts Riverview opened its door and welcomed enthusiastic customers and onlookers. The staff greeted us with cheers and claps making us feel welcome. Everyone was pleasant and willing to assist. As a new store the shelves were fully stocked with all the good stuff you expect to find in this establishment. Lots of good deals and some samples were also available. Being familiar with the Sprouts experience we were not disappointed. The only hiccup took place when we asked about the coupon, it appears that the Store was not aware that a 20% off coupon for the first 200 customers on their entire bill was made available via their social media page. Sprouts corrected the issue immediately and extended this offer to the customers who brought it to their attention at check out. Welcome to Riverview Sprouts! I went in at 9:30 this morning looking for a specialty produce product that they apparently didn't have in yet. My daughter went to get some food. Since Pho was closed due to electrical problems she decided to do to sprouts. She spent over $40 easily between her and her brother on sushi and we did not like it. The sushi was so bland. I told her that was a waste of money. I personally think Sams club and Publix sushi is much better. Don't get me wrong the stuff was fresh but it was very bland and the fact that she had to pay extra for the sauces. The amount of sushi they came home with they should have been given a container of sauce and not be charged $1.49 for each one. Won't be getting sushi from sprouts. I told her I don't believe in shopping for food where it is by the pound and pay extra for everything. I told them for that price they should have went to a restaurant and got a meal. read more

Buyer Beware Just stopped at Sprouts (for my last time ever) and was unpleasantly surprised to be asked to pay for plastic bags for my groceries. When asked why the change, I was told that "following the lead of many stores in California and Europe, this store would now be charging for all bags, to make a difference in the world". When I refused to pay and went outside to grab a bag from my car, I can't even begin to describe the look of disgust and disrespect by the cashier in having a problem with this new policy. I had heard about Sprouts from some vegan friends and went to check out the vegetables. The store looked nice inside, staff was helpful, but the vegetables were a disappointment. I had difficulty finding "fresh" items. Bought some Hass Avocados and they went from green to overripe in one night. Other vegetables appeared wilted by the next morning in the fridge. This is usually a sign of poor shipping and improper storage. Tomatoes tasted as if they had been refrigerated (which is the worst thing for them as they loose all flavor). I guess if your going to buy some lettuce and eat it within an hour you may be ok. Tried a couple of hot prepared foods for a quick dinner. They looked great in the glass counter area but tasted overcooked and poorly seasoned when we got home. Other items were overpriced and can be found cheaper elsewhere. Overall the store tries to be trendy with a variety of specialty items, but instead is just an overpriced collection of items geared towards taking advantage of people with special needs diets. I love all the vegan options they have; they even have baked vegan chocolate chip cookies that are seriously soooo delicious!
