So I figured fair enough, you're not who I go to first so I then made my way down to where it said pick up. I waited, then I saw another woman so now they both saw me and didn't acknowledge me. Then the woman asked a customer behind me if he was there to pick up, helped him for awhile and then walked away. I said excuse me she acted annoyed and I asked about filling a Rx and she said "go to the computers". So I'm thinking go to the other end since the guy working was so adamant to ignore me. The woman and guy both watched while I went to the other end and noticed it was all closed off. No one said anything. I asked the guy there for help and he never even looked at me, while he gruffly asked "date of birth??" and then stated "you have nothing here" then shamed me for asking further questions about if they contact my dr or if I do. Ya know, simple WHAT I SHOULD DO NEXT questions with how to get my Rx filled since I'm AT THE PHARMACY. I couldn't even hear the rest of anything he was saying. He was so pleased that I had to walk up and down trying to figure things out and that I now couldn't hear him while I was asking what to do next about my shameful "controlled substance". I never bother writing bad reviews but my skin is still crawling I'm so angry. There's no way to describe just how gross it was that they we're both so pleased to be unhelpful. I've worked in service forever. I get it and I certainly never expect anyone to be smiling and bubbly but this was purposeful disrespect. If they managed to upset me, I can't imagine how they're making others feel. Walgreens for life from now on.

Their understaffed, over stressed and underpaid associates are lacking motivation and people skills in this location. It's not that Walgreens needs to hire more people. They are not given the budget to have more. They are routinely expected to do more with less. But that's "the industry standard". I walked into this convenient location and made eye contact with the male service associate. There were no customers in sight and he was just standing at the register playing his fingers like drumsticks on the counter. I gave a smile. He gave zero reaction. Where was my "welcome to Walgreens"? I proceeded to the front wall because I was in need of a technology device for my iPhone. Looks like they are ready to get a reset on all their cell phone gear because the entire front wall was pretty much barren and full of clearance tags. So I just bought a water and left. While I was there I wasn't greeted by any other employees. No management on the floor during my visit at 7pm. Only the little drummer boy and a photo tech who was trying to be patient taking an entire group of young children's passport photos. The store was in ok condition. Besides the front wall. Side racks snd end stands merchandised, back to school products out and ready to sell. Upon checkout my drummer friend gave a week "hey". And once I paid asked if I wanted a receipt. That was pretty much the extent of our exchange. Even while I was at the front wall looking intently over the little choices in product he proceeded to play his drum solo. No offering assistance to this gal. I wasn't impressed and it makes me sad. I spent over a third of my life with this company and I expect better.

This place is pretty much the same as any other chain drugstore, when looking for miscellaneous toiletries or maybe to fill a prescription. And that's why I've been here several times - to stock up. Convenience = 3 Stars. My only thing I'll never forgive CVS for is taking over the Target pharmacy business and getting rid of their uniquely designed red (with color code collars) prescription bottles.

I also handed her a $4 coupon. Before the issue was clearly resolved, she tore up my $4 coupon. She then insisted it had been applied, but the total only reflected the 25% discount on my $16.99 item. The additional $4 discount was not included. When I politely pointed out the discrepancy, instead of explaining or correcting it, the interaction became argumentative and dismissive. We went back and forth for about 30 minutes, with no resolution. Since my coupon had already been destroyed and the pricing issue still wasn't resolved, I ultimately decided not to complete the purchase. The missing $4 wasn't the biggest issue--it was the lack of professionalism, clear communication, and customer service. I expect a shift supervisor to handle situations like this calmly, accurately, and respectfully. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I hope CVS management reviews this incident so future customers don't have a similar experience

I also picked up the centerpiece today and it's on my tablecloth and a candle I purchased recently from Walmart. I just love Walmart; I like to call it "Wally World" because it's always an adventure. (Wally World ya know where Clark Griswold did everything in his power to get his family to Wally World for a family vacation for some happiness:) (we watch that every night before our vacation in the summer:) ). I debated on walking over but opted to drive the parking lot. The medicine was going to take ten minutes to fill so we perused the shop. The staff is wonderful. This trip both the cashier and pharmacist were super friendly. I can't say enough good things. Want to stock your beer fridge? They have a fabulous selection of local brews as well as many crafts you won't find elsewhere. (In addition to a great liquor and wine section.) **PRO TIP** Look at their Facebook page for manager specials. Have a package that needs sent? Hartig has a dedicated counter and staff for this. They make it easy peasy. (Have I mentioned lately how expensive postage is?! Wowza.) Need a prescription filled? The pharmacy here is open everyday but Sunday and has a super knowledgable, friendly staff. **PRO TIP** You can book vaccines and refill scripts online. Need to find a gift for someone but have no freaking idea what to get them? Peruse their store! They have adorable home decor, a diverse bunch of Hawkeye items, toys, cards and locally made food items. As well as seasonal flowers and yard items. Overall, you can find almost anything at Hartig Drug! It's only downfall is it is closed on Sunday-- which is typically when I drive by thinking I should stop in.
