I didn't get any Starbucks, but that's definitely the fanciest Starbucks in a Target I've ever seen in my life. Bathroom: The bathroom is located in the front of the store towards the middle near the checkout area. The bathroom was very clean! Always love a clean public bathroom! Customer Service: The staff were friendly. I went when it wasn't busy and didn't even have to wait in line. The cashier was friendly and provided excellent customer service. Merchandise: This Target location had a lot of great inventory. Lately, I've been shopping in the clearance sections at Targets and I always find a really good deal on clothing items in particular. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great shopping experience at Target at the Hodgkins location. I totally recommend this location. This isn't a casual medication -- missing doses risks irreversible vision loss. I called ahead at noon, spoke directly with a technician, confirmed they had my drops in stock, and was assured one would be held for me. I confirmed twice. My doctor also called earlier to make sure everything was set. I arrived promptly at 7:15 PM, only to be told they had nothing on hand. I patiently explained that I had spoken to someone earlier, gave my name (Lee Robinson), and asked them to check. For 30 minutes, I waited while they attempted to reach the technician I had spoken with. Understandably, mistakes happen -- but what unfolded next was unacceptable. For the next 45 minutes, I begged for help identifying any nearby location that could fill my prescription tonight. Instead of providing clear answers, the staff simply rattled off Walgreens locations without providing addresses or verifying inventory. When I asked which stores were open late, they vaguely pointed me to a few -- but again, no real help, just dismissive answers as if I was interrupting their evening. At no point did anyone -- especially the head pharmacist, Tanya -- show even basic empathy or urgency. I wasn't treated like a patient, or even a human being. I was treated like an inconvenience. Tanya repeatedly ignored my questions, avoided eye contact, and carried on with other refills while I stood there desperately trying to ensure I wouldn't miss my medication. Walgreens -- you are in healthcare. People don't come to you for fun. We come because our health depends on you doing your job. I didn't choose to have a disease that steals my sight. I didn't choose to rely on these drops to stay alive, functional, and able to see my kids grow up. But your staff made it abundantly clear that my situation wasn't important enough to warrant even minimal effort. When you call they initially connect you to a call center with a "pharmacy tech" to appease you I suppose, then you will be sent to the 7th circle of Muzak call hold for up to half an hour where you will then be disconnected. Has happened sooner in the multiple times I've called in the past couple days in the vain attempt to get my prescription refilled (again, it's tele-health so they don't get auto-filled, I have to call and go through this absolute nonsense) This is a years long pattern with no indication of changing, I will definitely be switching pharmacies. I talk to the first person who tells me that it would take two hours to process the order because I'm explaining to her that I don't have any of my debit cards. I just changed my bank account on Saturday so my Apple Pay is not working properly yet Being that I have no cards. I told her if I could please place the order on the app again because my target card is attached to my app. She keeps telling me it's gonna take two hours although the item is in her hand in a bag I've worked retail before as a courtesy. I feel that they should've went ahead and processed the order for me I then asked for the manager who canceled the order. She comes out with a very arrogant look on her face, seemingly looking like she's talking down to me as there's a crowd of people who probably feel more superior to me just because of how I look compared to everybody around me I'm Hispanic in a community of mostly Caucasian people at a target.
