I used to enjoy shopping at target. Clothes were hung in nice displays, food looked appetizing, store was clean, and there was always a friendly staff worker nearby to help. Now you can see they are clearly cutting costs with lack of staff members to ensure a quality shopping experience. I have to walk over piles of clothes on the floor to find something that's still on the hanger ( I won't dig through clothing pikes on the floor). Today I placed an order for one box of dryer sheets. I unfortunately mistakenly went to the wrong target. I was waiting at that target for quite a while, realizing everybody was leaving before me, and after finally calling that target and finding out that my order was actually placed at the Willowbrook location. I started driving to Willowbrook as I got closer to Willowbrook. I went ahead in the app and said that I was still coming, and when I did that I noticed after they had canceled my order I asked somebody who was outside giving an order to a customer about it. They said that the manager canceled it I was told to go inside to have that order processed mind you I did a curbside pick up for a reason. It's Sunday. Today's the day that I was just lounging in my house doing laundry had no intention to be out in public was not definitely presentable. Kinda look just like a bum today so I go inside. I talk to the first person who tells me that it would take two hours to process the order because I'm explaining to her that I don't have any of my debit cards. I just changed my bank account on Saturday so my Apple Pay is not working properly yet Being that I have no cards. I told her if I could please place the order on the app again because my target card is attached to my app. She keeps telling me it's gonna take two hours although the item is in her hand in a bag I've worked retail before as a courtesy. I feel that they should've went ahead and processed the order for me I then asked for the manager who canceled the order. She comes out with a very arrogant look on her face, seemingly looking like she's talking down to me as there's a crowd of people who probably feel more superior to me just because of how I look compared to everybody around me I'm Hispanic in a community of mostly Caucasian people at a target. It's the year 2025. Let's be real here if I was Caucasian Lexi, this team leader or whoever she is would've put this order through. I kept going back-and-forth with her about how it was unfair that she canceled my order. I told her if I could please place this order again I'm already here. I told her where I just came from. I told her the whole situation I told her if she could please look in the system to see if she has many orders that are that are placed that need to be picked up if I could just place the order I will stick around if it takes a half hour which is what it took from the time that I placed that order to the time that I got the email that it was ready for pick up. It did not take two hours. She looked in the system and told me there's not that many orders. It should take up to two hours again, not trying to be sympathetic or do me any kind of courtesy because she was the one that canceled the order on me. I know she could tell by my face and my voice that I wanted to cry I suffer from anxiety, depression I felt so bad about how she treated me That I'm not gonna just let this go. I am going to make sure to file a complaint against her I've been trying to call the store so I can get a store manager's name and nobody is answering my call. I received notification of my order being ready at 1:49 PM. I checked in at about 152 while waiting there realizing that mistakenly I was at the wrong place. I started heading over to the right location and by 2:23 PM. She canceled my order on me When I had already notated in the app that I was still coming in between that time. read more

Literally the worst Target in the area! It is very disorganized and dirty. Worse yet they have workers walking around the store talking and joking while they had 1 cashier open. Everything else was self check out with a long line. Self check out is fine if you have a couple of items but it was ridiculous for them to have one cashier. Since when do stores not have to list the correct price in the store? This is called false advertising. Apparently you need to check all of the product prices online or via the Target app while shopping in the store because the products are not priced correctly in the store. I have been overcharged several times because the price tags were not accurate and the customer service representatives would not check the price tag on the shelf to adjust the price during checkout. I've never been a shopaholic, but Target has had a very close grip on me with this last pregnancy. Therefore, I've been visiting a Target at least once a week wherever I go. This specific Target is very, very clean. I did not see any item on the ground wherever I perused. They also have more selections than other Targets I'm familiar with. For example, they actually have a baby bathtub section. Albeit there were only 5 options, that's 5 more options than other Targets have. The store associates are also fabulous. My cashier was friendly and we were even able to joke around with one another. Customer service also gladly took back a faulty item I had erroneously purchased, no questions asked. Of course, they also had their own Starbucks which can be helpful on long shopping excursions. I will return! read more

Target is my go-to store. It has a huge parking lot. The store is also huge. It is always clean, organized and well-stocked. It is not just a typical grocery store because they also offer different products like electronic, clothes and more which is really convenient. Their produce, dairy and meat department are always fresh. I like to shop in here because I get everything I needed at reasonable prices but I notice that prices of some of the items gone up but not too much. The staff are always friendly and helpful. One time, I wanted a particular item in the clothing department, it does not have a price so I asked the staff for help and she gladly helped me. There are a lot of times that I needed a help and their staff are always there. I was at the checkout and the staff there greeted me. The parking lot and entrance situation is defo lacking. And the building needs to have 2 entrance portals instead of just the 1 corner entrance. This has got to be the best Target around. New, clean, fully stocked and always with plenty of personnel to help you find what you are looking for. I had a stock person today personally get involved in the search I was doing for a new water pitcher. She first walkie talkied someone about what I was looking for- and then when the location was found- walked me over to that part of the store. Nice. I should never take a cart with me as I go through the store as that "one" item that I am running in to purchase, ALWAYS ends up multiplying itself by 10 before I get out the front door. Target is an OK option for shop this is because of the high quality of clothing items that they offer. However I will caution you that the prices have been steadily going up and is higher than other places. I've shopped online and you can find some pretty good deals that will be sent straight to the store and pick up. This is something that target has really invested in a lot of money to build out. They even have a parking spot for online shopping pickups. I will warn you that you do need an ID to match the exact name as the order. This made me frustrated one time because I had to go back to the car because they would not except an email confirmation. I hope that they can make this process more streamlined going forward because online shopping has definitely gained traction. read more

Less congested aisles towards the back than before. The store is always clean, employees are helpful and respectful, and I feel safe going there. The staff are really nice, helpful, and sweet. They really know how to make this company grow and move forward. Target will always be my favorite store to shop. This Target is truly big. It is true what they say that suburban store have decent items. I was in the neighborhood and the hubby wanted to purchase some workout wares. I honestly had no plans of shopping for myself but while he was looking I strayed to the sale section and they had a ton of items. There is a Target by me in uptown Chicago and they never have anything. Anyways, I was just excited to find a lot of nice pieces. I love this store. It's closer to my house than Walmart. Clerks are friendly. Store is CLEAN and BRIGHT. Parking is NOT bad, unless it's the day after Thanksgiving (or Thanksgiving night). I braved the crowds this past Thanksgiving night and the crowd was so well-organized; Target put Walmart to shame. I have all my prescriptions filled here. Again, nice techs and pharmacists. Keeping in mind I'm shopping in a pandemic and during a holiday, I was extremely patient with the fact that this target was short staffed and had limited checkout lines open. Shelf checkout was full and only one register open. The manager was standing at a podium with head down ignoring the pile up. When he finally looked up he opened a second line in which he didn't take customers from our line but let people who were walking up go ahead of us and all the people behind us in line. Again I was in no hurry and didn't mind waiting in my line. However the cashier at our line decided that she was going to flip her light off and close herself down right before taking us. I was told I had to get out of line and enter a longer line that just formed at the new register. Upset I grabbed the manager who quickly cut me off and said I needed to patient. Rather than making a big stink I just left our items behind and doing their job for them I informed the customers behind us that the line we were in was now closed. Coming to the comments here seems like this location has an issue with poor customer service and bad attitudes. read more

Our daughter recently had a baby and we were very happy and excited about this. The first time our granddaughter visited our place she was not a happy baby, instead she seemed to be suffering from severe colic. This made my wife and daughter cry and Zara was already crying. What's a Grandpa to do? Solve the problem. On the internet I found many testimonials to the curative powers of swings for babies with colic. I then read approximately 567 reviews of different swings and selected the Hugga Hugga Monkey swing which I found for the best price at this Target. We came, found exactly what I wanted plus a couple of hundred more items my wife wanted for the baby and we drove to our daughter's house. Target was very clean and organized, we found exactly what we wanted at the very competitive price advertised online. Came, saw, conquered! And the hugga hugga monkey swing? Can I give 0 stars? Today at about 4 Pm, I went to the Willowbrook Target to pick up a prescription and a few other items. First, with no one ahead of me in line and 3 pharmacists, I waited 10 minutes to be waited on. Then, after shopping, I go to checkout. All of my items were scanned by the cashier, I slid my card into the reader to pay and then the reader (which was facing toward the ceiling because it was broken... I had to stand on my toes to read it), says REMOVE CARD. So I did. The cashier turns around and tells me that he's not done with my coupons yet! He calls over a supervisor who asks me for my receipt, which I haven't been given yet! And then she says that we need to go to customer service. I asked how long this would take because I had an appointment after that I could not be late for. She said a couple of minutes. When arriving at customer service, the cashier that the supervisor gave the receipt to, said that this would take awhile because she needed to refund each item and then rescan everything and then take the coupons off. I told her I wasn't going to stay for that. I left with my groceries and my unused coupons. I AM DONE WITH TARGET!! This is not the first time that this has happened! In the real world, when coupons are not scanned, the service desk looks at the receipt and gives you the amount of the coupons in cash or debit---they don't undo and redo everything! read more

I was disappointed with the variety which was mostly suitable for very small storage like crafts or small tools. The options for clothing, home decor, or larger items was limited to one, only ONE, option. The home storage section is small, almost non-existent. The prices aren't that great either. I spent $50 on a plastic storage solution. I've bought these at Wal-Mart in the past, and they always have a ton of options. This is what I would call Super Target-lite: a recent remodel added more room for a grocery section, but it's rather anemic. There's less than two aisles for produce and around 10 aisles for the rest of your shopping needs. It's like a convenience store: it's great for what you need, but half your list will be left over. The rest of its general merchandise is scaled down for size as well, and its layout is a bit scattered. There being only one entrance to the store can definitely be a huge annoyance, and customers darting in and out of the double-deep checkout aisles make the madhouse traffic on neighboring 83 look sane and organized. Coming as a consumer of bare-essentials goods first and everything else later, I'd like to see their next remodel make it into a full-fledged Super Target. Overall it's a clean store and cheaper taxes compared to others in Cook county, but I experienced that their knowledge on what they are selling was poor. I purchased an apple watch series 2 at the store and one of their workers insisted on the apple care+ for protection. I asked a couple of questions I thought that was important to make a final decision. 1. Can I buy the apple care+ later? He said no, (but he said I can cancel it within 30days with the receipt, brought in the store) 2. How much does it cost to repair a broken screen under accidental damage? He said $29. Based on these questions, I ended up buying the applecare+. When I got back home and reading the applecare+ contract term, it indicated $69, not $29, and also found out that I was able to purchase the applecare+ later no matter where it was purchased from within certain days from the date of purchase. Maybe he wasn't truly aware of these facts and honestly told me what he knew or just another sales tactic to push customers. It frustrates me with this feeling that I was tricked with the incorrect information. read more

This is by far my favorite Target location. Not only is is the closest location to my home, but it is always clean. The addition of the grocery section has kept us coming here more frequently. Heads up though, lines here can get crazy. This store seems to suffer from heard syndrome... where everyone in the store needs to check out at one time. Management here seems to have been able to correct previous problems though, they now promptly open up registers when this occurs. While you wait for your prescription to be filled by the in-store pharmacy, you can get a salad or smoothie at Freshii (the in-store food shop). A great place to have a quick salad or enjoy a kefir frozen yogurt (family favorite) topped with fresh fresh berries. The dining tables are equipped with coloring books and crayons to keep little shoppers happy. My favorite thing to do here (besides shopping) is to grab a quick bite at Freshii! So instead of heading for the cookies and chip aisle to satisfy my naughty food cravings, I turn around and head straight for the healthy Freshii counter. The menu has delicious custom-made green wraps, flavorful salads, fresh pressed detox juices and fabulously tasty smoothies! I love the Freshii Green Smoothie made with kale, spinach, pineapple, avocado and low-fat frozen yogurt. It was veggie love at first taste! Who knew "going green" would taste so good! This stores customer service has really went down. The check the checkers there used to be very nice and now they could care less. They make their signs in the store deceiving with this cart discount only after you get to the counter do you find out yeah you really don't get the discount unless you have their apt so they can find out what you shop for all the time.
