I was shopping for Easter gifts with my son and, since the store does not provide carts, we used our stroller to hold several stuffed animals and a book while we decided what to purchase. While changing his diaper in the restroom, my son began showing signs of an asthma attack. He has severe asthma, and I immediately rushed him to the car to get his inhaler. In the stress of the moment, I unintentionally left the store with several stuffed animals still in the stroller. As soon as I realized what had happened, I called the store to explain and let them know I would return the items. I mistakenly contacted the West Jordan location instead of the Sandy store and was unfamiliar with the exact city when asked. I intended to return the items after work at 5:00 p.m.; however, at exactly 5:00, I received a call from a police officer informing me I was being accused of shoplifting and needed to return immediately. I fully cooperated and brought back every item as fast as I could. Unfortunately, despite explaining the medical emergency and my efforts to correct the mistake, I was met with a lack of understanding and was issued a citation. The owner explained she was a mom herself with a child that had asthma so I was very shocked to see the coldness and lack of understanding. I cooperated the whole entire time and apologized multiple times This was an honest mistake made during a medical emergency involving my child. And when I told her that she said "well you were at a pharmacy" as if that's the same as a hospital. I acted promptly per my motherly intuition and I to took full responsibility and returned everything immediately, and I hope other parents can understand how quickly situations like this can unfold. I would never recommend this place to anyone, especially those shopping with young children. read more

Based off the copious amounts of bad reviews on crappy customer service, miscommunication, overcharging and more I don't think there's much to say except don't go here. If you have a good first experience, great. Maybe not every employee in there is a disgrace of a human, but most of them are likely going to butter you up your first visits so then they can play the victim when they bend you over. read more

First of all, even if you're put on hold, a real live person answers your phone call within seconds. Compare that to the 10-20 minutes you're on hold with the big chains. This pharmacy is well-staffed. Second of all, they support the community. You'll see sponsor banners at athletic events at Brighton, Jordan, Alta and Corner Canyon high school-- everything from tennis to lacrosse, baseball to soccer. This pharmacy supports the community. Parking is easy and ample-- curbside pick up is easy; just call when you get there. They are open Saturdays for a couple hours in the morning (you'll find a lot of compounding pharmacies are closed all weekend), they accept most insurance, you can fill traditional AND compound (made-by-hand) prescriptions here, and they offer FREE hand-delivery in the Sandy/Draper area and FREE mailing shipment service throughout the rest of the state. There's an easy app they'll text to your smart phone if you request it, and the website for Jolley's Sandy Pharmacy offers coupons for the GIFT SHOP, which carries unique, dreamy merchandise. And finally, if your experience is less than ideal, just ask to speak to the owner. He's one of the four full-time pharmacists on staff. He has nearly 30 years of experience and he genuinely wants to provide excellent, personable service. You'll find the friendly atmosphere radiates from all the staff. Nearly every week I am picking up a prescription. We get things made to order. They call it "compounding." Our health is among our highest priorities. They are a delight to do business with. The cashiers know my name and my wife's name...from the first week we transferred our prescriptions from 5-other pharmacies, to Jolleys. physicians office called in my script. Either the doctors office or the pharmacy had the wrong number so didn't bother to fill script. when I called Jolly's to ask, I was told by young tech answering phones that they had left me a message days before. I asked for number they had for me, which was wrong. When I asked why they wouldn't reach out to physicians office to check the number after never hearing back from me, I was told that "they didn't know it was the wrong number". When I let her know that after not hearing back from me for days on a medication, they should have checked in with the doctors office, the tech became defensive. Given this is supposed to be a premium pharmacy, I would expect t a bit more customer service from the staff, especially after days of not hearing back on a supposed left message on a critical compoubded medication. I've had similar issues happen in past with Walmart Pharmacy but they have taken steps to resolve issue and call doctors office to make sure info they had for patient was correct. Save your money and go elsewhere. Not impressed with Jolly's. read more

Jollys is a locally owned compounding pharmacy that has a gift shop and isn't open super late but is my favorite little local pharmacy if I can't get what I need at Walgreens or I'm able to go at the right hours they are open, I'll choose them. This is the Sandy location which is right by my work since I work in Sandy at Beauty Trendz salon part time and Hashtag Hair Salon Wednesday-Saturday. The other location is close to my old house or my current living place in Sugarhouse. Really good service and friendly, helpful people. read more

This place is disgusting and the employees will treat you so badly they will shame you. Worst employees they think they are better than anyone. They could care less. They are very busy but they do a great job getting your prescriptions ready fast. They are also very personable, knowledgeable & kind.

I am very disappointed in this pharmacy. First, they lied to me about whether or not my physician had called in my Rx. Then they refused to refill (I had 2 refills left) a prescription for me on the basis that they "would lose too much money" ($81.00) for filling it. My insurance company even called the pharmacy on my behalf, but Jolley (there's not much "jolly" about it!) Pharmacy would not budge. Well, no one at the pharmacy asked me whether or not I'd be willing to pay for my migraine medication out-of-pocket. I would be willing to pay for it myself since it's the only medication that helps keep my migraines at bay. Conclusion: the people here aren't friendly, want to deprive patients of their much-needed medication, and aren't shy about fibbing about things. They don't care about their customers' health; just their bottom line. I would recommend that patients/customers go elsewhere to get their prescriptions filled. read more

My kiddo has one compound prescription and it has to be filled at Jolley's. There is no other compound pharmacy in the valet that can handle this one. This place is a joke. Ordered my refill on a Tuesday for a very time sensitive RX that needs to be taken on Friday morning. They reassured me three times it would be shipped to me on Wednesday so I have it by Thursday. Thursday I get a gut feeling to call and double check and sure enough they HAD NOT SHIPPED IT OUT! I will not be able to take my medicine on Friday until after the mail arrives at whatever time that will be. The guy didn't care. Would not ship fedex with guaranteed morning delivery for me and laughed at me for being upset. read more

I cannot overstate my gratitude for Pharmacist Elliot Morrell. My dermatologist's office sent a topical prescription for skin cancer (so I'm already freaking out and on edge about the whole thing) to Jolley's to be compounded and filled. When I picked it up, Dr. Morrell expressed concern at the very low strength of my prescription compared with what he usually sees. He suggested I reach out to my doctor to verify. Turns out he was RIGHT. My doctor's office screwed up the Rx and submitted a Rx for less than 1/10th the strength of what I needed. This cancer treatment takes weeks, and it would have been MONTHS before anyone realized I had been using a useless treatment for my skin cancer had Mr. Morrell not caught it from the get-go. I am very grateful for his attention to detail, intellect, and willingness to professionally express his concern with me. PLEASE don't waste your time with this pharmacy. ED, is horrible with absolutely no customer service, skills for his customers. I have been going there for over a year filling my prescriptions. They have no problem taking your money and charging you top dollar but if you have a problem you are treated horrible. I had some health issues starting in June of this year 2021 which I had to see a gastroenterologist for the problem. Dr. Christopher Cutler prescribed a medication that required a compounding Pharmacy and suggested Jolley's Sandy Compounding Pharmacy. Jolley's was quick and easy to use their services. A few weeks into treatment I needed a refill and was feeling frustrated with the way my progress was going. I had spoken with the Dr.'s office and didn't get much help. So, I proceeded to call Jolley's and ask to speak to a Pharmacist, I was connected with Troy, and what a blessing it turned out to be. First and foremost he listened to me, he gave me time to ask questions and he really listened. He was very empathetic, knowledgeable and caring, it made all the difference. Okay, this is kind of the weirdest place ever. It's a pharmacy, but also a kind of gift shop, flower shop and snack store all in one. It's very conveniently located to the Alta View hospital, so that is awesome. The pharmacists are all pretty on top of things. And the prices are reasonable. But when I go to a pharmacy, I'm spoiled and I want drive-thru service. Mostly because it's really hard to drag my four year old through a slightly cramped store with lots of toys, candy, and crafty gifts to look at and break. Last time we were there, he rearranged their vitamin section (sorry about that guys.) Good service though. And they always seem like there are customers in there, so that's a good sign. read more

They charged me $18 for a product that costs $3-5 at Target or Walmart. THEY HAVE TERRIBLE HOURS. AVOID THEIR DISHONESTY LIKE THE PLAGUE. Use a different ethical and accessible compounding pharmacy instead. They also get the orders mixed up, get the instructions for delivery mixed up. read more
