To make things even better, they offer same day delivery! Today I needed a couple days worth of a medication due to another pharmacy (not Q-Bit) not being able to deliver my prescription on time. Q-Bit is my default pharmacy, so my doctor's office sent the prescription right to them. They weren't able to fill it as they had to close early because of a staff emergency. The person I spoke with was able to transfer the prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy. She even went out of her way to text me 30 minutes later to make sure the pharmacy received the prescription! I have always had 10/10 service from Q-Bit. They can usually fill prescriptions quickly and always communicate promptly. I think, as a society, we need to get back to giving our hard-earned cash to businesses that treat us with dignity and value customer service. Q-Bit will always be my go to!

So, I replied, "yes, so can one of you do a price check for me?" and she was like, "oh no the other this computer is down and she (the trainee) doesn't have the credentials to login". When I was ready to checkout, the manager was still busy helping the same aforementioned customer so I decided to use self check out. I rang up my items and one of them was not as advertised price wise, and there was no one available to help me remove the item. So I gave up on what I wanted and went to put back the item that should've been on sale and when I came back, the machine was still out of commission. I notified the manager lady that there's a problem with the self check out, and she impatiently replied, "you'll have to wait because I'm with a customer right now and the trainee can't do that either. Well great, I'm a customer and I've been needing help too but sorry for inconveniencing you! After an eventful stint in the ER over some preterm labor symptoms, I was finally discharged home on time-sensitive medications to help prevent further contractions. Unfortunately there was a big screw up with my hospital outpatient pharmacy so they forwarded my script to Rivermark Safeway (long story). Rivermark was not informed it was a stat med, nor did my hospital even bother to check on the availability of the med knowing I had to take it soon. When I called Rivermark, they were so kind and understanding. Their hands were tied since they didn't have the med, so my husband and I went on to call random CVS pharmacies to see if they'd have the med available. Unbeknownst to us, Chappy was also checking on the inventory at other Safeway pharmacies on my behalf. That was really going above and beyond. Chappy connected with the Milpitas Safeway pharmacy and had the order expedited. That's truly the sign of a thoughtful and caring healthcare professional. He didn't stop at his job and say "oh well, not my problem" even though it wasn't his responsibility at all. Instead he helped a patient out during a stressful time. My husband and I were grateful and touched by his actions. I wish more people like him existed in the world.

I waited six minutes in line patiently (one person ahead of me) while she slowly rang up an elderly lady, which is just fine with me, because not every store can be staffed to help all customers at all times. This is a hard job, and I understand that these employees have to deal with rude customers all day. I finally handed my item to the cashier with a smile. The cashier's first action was to berate me for not using the self-checkout. When I started to explain that I got in line because one self-checkout was broken and the other was being used, she interrupted and dismissed me with a wave of her hand, berating me (again) for bringing her a pair of sunglasses (the only pair that fit me!) which had a barcode that wasn't working in her scanner. All this time, she's criticizing a young kid who's working behind her. She refused to help me, refused to let me explain why I couldn't simply bring up a different item which might have a different price. I don't work at CVS. I don't know what to look for. She just began fighting me on it, like it was the most natural thing in the world for her. I threw up my hands and walked out of the store without a purchase.
