    kool-aid

been here for years and walgreens never fails. well, when you need your medicine prescribed by your doctor it'll take a while. but overall it's a good place to get some small groceries or snacks depending why you're at walgreens. the only downside is that most splints or body recovery equipment like thumb splints or waist straps will rack at least 20 bucks for one piece of fabric that stretches. deals here are decent. a bag of chips that are 2.50 for one and 4$ for two is about the same when you buy without bundling. the only weird think here is they sell kool-aid in bottles which isn't found in other stores?

The lady assumed I didn't want my receipt and I dont know where she got that idea.

I used to come here for my medications until the pharmacy wait times became unbearable and didn't make any sense. So today I came here because they had something the other Walgreens didn't have that I needed to get as a gift for my relatives when I fly down to visit them for thanksgiving. After I finished paying for my stuff the lady took my receipt and ripped it up. I was really shocked when she did this so I took my stuff and the ripped receipt to the other cash register to ask to return everything and repay for it so I could get a new receipt since they didn't have a way to reprint my original receipt. The guy he huffed and puffed at me when I asked him to help me with this but proceeded to scan my things anyways and printed out a voided transaction slip. I didn't trust him but let him rescan my stuff anyways. So he mishandled my Ghirardelli chocolate snowman bag and I wasn't happy with that and told him I was gonna get another one that was going to be less damaged. So when I came back he handled my chocolate bag a little more carefully this time when he scanned it but now my issue was with my $4 that I already paid with the previous cashier. I said I wanted to pay for my items with the $4 cash I had plus the $5 cash reward I slip I had received from the other Walgreens that said if I spent $15 I could get another $5 but didn't understand why they couldn't just use that $5 and deduct it from my total. Eventually the store manager came and just gave me $5 so I talked to her and asked how come I couldn't get that deducted in my total? So to my understanding I only get the $5 as a rewards credit and not a cash reward or something. And I got $5 cash anyways but didn't know why it couldn't just be taken out of my original total so I wouldn't have to pay for basically everything twice since my refunds usually take a long time to be put back into my bank account and felt like I was losing money because of this. And I needed all the money I could get to use for my trip because I haven't had any money to go on any trips anywhere for several years and now that I finally do I felt like I was just losing money. The manager lady who gave me the $5 pretended to be kind and said sarcastically, OKAY GOOD BYE and HAVE A GOOD DAY when we were finished talking but I also wasn't at all happy about the way she talked to me either but I just felt disrespected and left and began writing this review. I knew I wouldn't find better customer service here but at least I still wanted to give them a chance to make things better. I guess they have a right to be rude and provide hostile and unfair customer service after making mistakes and I don't have a right to better service if they don't feel like it. So yeah that's my recent experience and I thought they couldn't get worse.

    poor service.

Came for routine vax shot. made an appointment. stood in a long line. told to wait to get called. got back in line after 45min. still waiting as they figure out what to do. plan for a multi hour ordeal if you come to this walgreens.

The store was clean, fully stocked, and the employees were friendly and helpful. Prices matched those at other Walmart locations. I swear,…read moreit's been years since I drive to a Walmart store to buy something, the full Walmart store is about 8-10 miles drive away, so it's never the first option I'd opt for when shopping. It was on a recent accidental trip that I found myself at this Santa Clara Walmart Neighborhood Market. It essentially is a larger size version of your typical supermarkets like Safeway or Lucky, except it's a lot more spacious & carry more grocery options. Due to its warehouse-like operation, the prices are slightly more affordable in general than those aforementioned stores; especially when things go on sales. For example, I scored a dozen maple glazed donuts for $4.69 (normally, $6.99, Dunkin or Krispy would have been more than $15. And if you take the time to look through each aisle, you may notice that they have some red stickers with significant markdowns, for example, a 10oz brown gravy mix normally $0.99-$1.39 elsewhere, it was $0.32, I got a whole bunch, it's perfect for my Canadian soul food - le Poutine, it works really well! And yes, the staff can be a hit or miss, depending on who you ask, but in general, they are pretty helpful, I never had problems. If there's a minor complaint, it's that you need the physical credit card to self-checkout, no GooglePay or Apple pay, etc, that's kind of pain in the you-know-where, but when I get my groceries with low prices, I'm really OK! In summary, it's been such a long time, I completely forgot that there's this Walmart Neighborhood Market within 2 miles of where I live. With dollar stores no longer offer DOLLAR items, some raised to $1.25, $3 - $5 in certain freezer items. it makes more sense to just drive here where they offer more choices at equal or better prices.

There are always a number of people in the background, doing not sure what but only a couple of people helping with the pickup. When there is a long line and there is one every time, no one opens up another counter to help. I dread going here because I feel like years of my life are wasting away, standing in line. Any of the above would be bearing if the people working there were efficient or even great to deal with. I left a message at one time and their answering message says that they will call back within a period of time, I waited almost a day before calling them again and when I asked about the timing, the pharmacist said, with heavy attitude, that she had called me back and my inbox was full and she could not leave a message, I have 5 messages in my inbox! There are 2 lines to form to pick up prescriptions, one regular and a fast land for mobile check in. The last time I was there, standing in the regular line and it took the person in front of me over 20 minutes to pick up her prescriptions! The person helping her would walk off, find something, it was wrong and she would go start that all over again or she was not able to find the prescriptions! She didn't ask for help, just kept walking around the tiny space trying to find the poor women's prescriptions. The fast lane was open, with no one in line, and I went there to pick up my prescription and the person helping, she was one of the pharmacists said that this is a fast land and I had to go back to the regular lane, there was no one in that lane!!!!! There are signs posted asking people to be kind to the pharmacy staff - probably because they are so inefficient and rude that people get frustrated It's too bad that there are not many other choices. I wish I could take my business elsewhere!

I don't envy what they're going through and appreciate their professionalism. Unfortunately, our ability to fill prescriptions has been wildly inconsistent -- no clear dates for when out-of-stock medications will come in (or they move further and further out as the new date approaches). My partner has had to go without critical medication (and be left recovering from the gap for weeks) on multiple occasions. We'd switch pharmacies, but haven't had much luck elsewhere, either. It's hard to understand why there's seemingly no urgency from the company around keeping regular/daily meds that have been taken successfully for years in stock. We also have to strategize around when to show up, since the store is usually understaffed and certain time periods (especially on any side of commuting hours) tend to involve long lines that are hard to bear if you're not able to stand for sustained periods of time.

My chief complaints include: (1) Never once in a year have all of my prescriptions actually been ready at the same time. I have tried everything including auto refills. It's actually impressive that they still can't get it together. (2) There are two lines - drop off and pick up. God forbid you have a question about something that wasn't filled properly. You actually have to leave the drop off window and get back in line for the pick up window. On one especially confusing occasion when one of my Rx wasn't filled, I had to get back in line although I was the only customer. (3) Even when they get their act together and call your doctor for a refill, they don't let you know that your Rx has actually been filled. I once went back after they called and left a message that my doctor authorized a refill. When I got to the store, they didn't actually fill my Rx. I am giving this joint two stars based on the fact that the Pho next door is amazing and that they haven't actually killed me.

The customer standing…read moreat the "working" self checkout was having problems with her purchase, but the cashier (brusque Indian woman in her 50s) rudely kept telling her repeatedly to "follow the instructions," although the customer was clearly confused. The cashier never helped her. I waited six minutes in line patiently (one person ahead of me) while she slowly rang up an elderly lady, which is just fine with me, because not every store can be staffed to help all customers at all times. This is a hard job, and I understand that these employees have to deal with rude customers all day. I finally handed my item to the cashier with a smile. The cashier's first action was to berate me for not using the self-checkout. When I started to explain that I got in line because one self-checkout was broken and the other was being used, she interrupted and dismissed me with a wave of her hand, berating me (again) for bringing her a pair of sunglasses (the only pair that fit me!) which had a barcode that wasn't working in her scanner. All this time, she's criticizing a young kid who's working behind her. She refused to help me, refused to let me explain why I couldn't simply bring up a different item which might have a different price. I don't work at CVS. I don't know what to look for. She just began fighting me on it, like it was the most natural thing in the world for her. I threw up my hands and walked out of the store without a purchase. Read some other reviews on this app. There's at least one talking about the same person, the same behavior. I don't care how long I have to wait in line. Like I said, I have compassion for stores that are understaffed and under-trained. I also have endless patience for this kind of thing usually. If anything, I'm the person wanting to make someone's day better if they're having a bad one. But this cashier was needlessly antagonistic, not just to me but to every customer and employee around me, creating an atmosphere and experience so unpleasant that now I'm logging on to f***ing YELP to write you a novel about this CVS location and warn you off it.

I arrived a little early, and saw only one man behind the photo desk - wearing glasses focused on the computer with earplugs in. A cashier from the front checkout had to run over to start the print job, and then ran back to the register. Before leaving, she motioned to the person using the computer that my order was printing. After I saw that the prints were done, I tried waving at the man (since he was 100% focused on the computer). He took off his earphones, and before I could even speak, he said "I'm sorry, I can't do anything, you're going to have to talk to the other person in the front." (My girlfriend also said she heard something on the computer about Anne Hathaway ?? so I don't think he was doing anything work related). I turned around and there was a line of 8 people backed up at the check out counter this point. I walked over and motioned to the clerk that the job was done, and she radioed someone to help me at the photos desk. Another person came in and helped me, but told the other employee "Hey, the photos were clearly done" to which he responded "Oh, I didn't see, my bad." To be clear, my negative experience is due to this man on the computer at the photo desk, who wouldn't even let me ask him a question. The other workers were perfectly fine. Otherwise, prints came out with good quality, as expected.
