Charmane rudely telling me I was at the pick up line for a drop off when the drop off looks like this. Is very combative and unwelcoming.

Open 24 hours? Think again. This store has cut its hours from 24/7 to 12/7, 9am to 9pm everyday, with the pharmacy closing at 8pm on weekends. The only reason to come here is to obtain medicine from a doctor's prescription at the pharmacy. My provider is Kaiser Permanente, so I can go directly to the pharmacy at Kaiser to get my medicine, and get my refills done online, with the medicine mailed to me. This store is a direct competitor to Walgreens. However, Walgreens is slightly closer to my house, and has a better selection of chocolates on sale, and has 1 hour photo development. Like Walgreens, CVS is like a mini grocery store, with canned goods, snacks, refrigerated items selling at Hawaii prices. $2 for an 18 ounce can of Progresso soup, or $4 for a half gallon of milk. And those were on sale items. 18 ounce can of Campbell's chunky soup is $4. 46 ounces of V8 vegetable juice $4. The prices become more glaring, when compared to the Dollar Tree 200 feet on the other side of the shopping center. And like Walgreens, and Dollar Tree, all the shelves full of hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes, paper towels, tissues, and toilet paper have been cleaned out by hoarders in panic buying in the age of the coronavirus, before the limits of 1 per customer were put into place. And even then, a 6 mega roll of Charmin Bath tissue goes for $12. Granted, it's 400 sheets of 3 ply toilet paper, and cheaper than using the San Jose Mercury News as toilet paper, which charged me $568 for 6 months. And that was single ply paper. I had a 30% off coupon good up to $100 in purchases, not good on sale items, and not good on milk, due to state law of price controls on milk. I gave it to a passerby in the store. I'm sure the homeless guy in front of the store would have thrown it away, as worthless, or used it as toilet paper.

I had walked over to the Sunnyvale Public Library with my son and stopped for a moment to wipe my brow when out of nowhere, one of the nose pads on my glasses completely broke off. These were an older pair of glasses I had recently rediscovered while cleaning, so I figured the parts had simply become worn down over time. At first, I thought I'd just grab a repair kit from Target after ChatGPT recommended their Up & Up eyeglass repair kit instead of going all the way to Walgreens. Unfortunately, the only kit I found didn't include the nose pad I needed. As I kept walking through the store hoping they might be stocked elsewhere, I stumbled upon the Target Optical department, complete with an eye doctor and full service optical counter. That's where I met Irish. Irish was absolutely wonderful. She patiently and diligently worked on my glasses, replaced BOTH nose pads, cleaned them thoroughly, tightened and tuned everything up, and honestly made this old pair feel practically brand new again. You know how over time those little parts get dirty, brittle, degraded, and loose? She took the time to carefully restore them instead of rushing me through. What really stood out was her attitude and customer service. She was warm, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire interaction. Irish gave us her full attention and made us feel completely taken care of. Excellent service experiences deserve recognition, and Irish absolutely earned this review. Thank you again for the exemplary customer care!

To make things even better, they offer same day delivery! Today I needed a couple days worth of a medication due to another pharmacy (not Q-Bit) not being able to deliver my prescription on time. Q-Bit is my default pharmacy, so my doctor's office sent the prescription right to them. They weren't able to fill it as they had to close early because of a staff emergency. The person I spoke with was able to transfer the prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy. She even went out of her way to text me 30 minutes later to make sure the pharmacy received the prescription! I have always had 10/10 service from Q-Bit. They can usually fill prescriptions quickly and always communicate promptly. I think, as a society, we need to get back to giving our hard-earned cash to businesses that treat us with dignity and value customer service. Q-Bit will always be my go to!

The store was clean, fully stocked, and the employees were friendly and helpful. Prices matched those at other Walmart locations. I swear,…read moreit's been years since I drive to a Walmart store to buy something, the full Walmart store is about 8-10 miles drive away, so it's never the first option I'd opt for when shopping. It was on a recent accidental trip that I found myself at this Santa Clara Walmart Neighborhood Market. It essentially is a larger size version of your typical supermarkets like Safeway or Lucky, except it's a lot more spacious & carry more grocery options. Due to its warehouse-like operation, the prices are slightly more affordable in general than those aforementioned stores; especially when things go on sales. For example, I scored a dozen maple glazed donuts for $4.69 (normally, $6.99, Dunkin or Krispy would have been more than $15. And if you take the time to look through each aisle, you may notice that they have some red stickers with significant markdowns, for example, a 10oz brown gravy mix normally $0.99-$1.39 elsewhere, it was $0.32, I got a whole bunch, it's perfect for my Canadian soul food - le Poutine, it works really well! And yes, the staff can be a hit or miss, depending on who you ask, but in general, they are pretty helpful, I never had problems. If there's a minor complaint, it's that you need the physical credit card to self-checkout, no GooglePay or Apple pay, etc, that's kind of pain in the you-know-where, but when I get my groceries with low prices, I'm really OK! In summary, it's been such a long time, I completely forgot that there's this Walmart Neighborhood Market within 2 miles of where I live. With dollar stores no longer offer DOLLAR items, some raised to $1.25, $3 - $5 in certain freezer items. it makes more sense to just drive here where they offer more choices at equal or better prices.
