The Holiday Inn is right next (within walking distance) to this Wal-Mart. This is the cleanest Wal-mart I have ever visited. It's also probably the safest. It is layed out backwards from other Wal-Marts I've visited. It has a nice grocery department, electronics, clothing and housewares. The staff were helpful, and not tired as in other Wal marts. They had what I needed and check out was fast. I saw some snacks that caught my eye I might want to get tomorrow. Really, I am reviewing a Wal-mart, but it seems to be the only happening store in this area.

Today my mom and I went shopping for groceries at the lake house we are staying at while on vacation by the Grand Lake. As we were about to check out, the lady at self-checkout told us they were down and had to wait until they were back up and running for at least about 5-10 minutes. There were almost no registers open that had cashiers ring up groceries for you. Go to Carter's instead if want to do your grocery shopping. They have way better service than this retail giant putting profits before customers while crushing smaller and locally-owned businesses.

Had a prescription sent that the pharmacist chose to rewrite directions from my physician because according to him "I'm the pharmacist and I know what I'm doing"... Doesn't really seem like it, because a physician rights instructions for the patient And their particular needs. I have no idea why this man thinks he knows better than my prescribing position, or then needed to be condescending and rude to me when I asked why it was changed, (after verifying with my prescribing physician what the usage direction should state) but I am terrifically glad I was well aware that a change was made, otherwise I could very well be dead from his Decision. The other staff of the store are generally fairly polite, though there is a very small selection of non-pharmacy items/OTC or other, and staff seem to have difficulty and understanding the actual Pharmacy side of things such as inputting patient information including insurance info.

I think I've bought a lot of on the spot gifts while I waited on my Rx's to be filled.. Aren't you so smart Prescription shop! lol My favorite thing about the Prescription shop is that they deliver! Who cant love that!
