From the corn pit to climbing straw bales to going down slides, there was something for everyone! The cute little train, animal train, and hayride were great! The jumping blob was full of kids, but it seemed like everyone was in their own space and no one was bounced off. My son really liked seeing the animals as well. You could easily spend half a day there or more, and the price was perfect. We will be back next year!

The dwelf I put a deposit down on died in their care. I was offered to transfer my deposit to…read moreanother kitten. Unless i wanted to wait for a new litter there was one male elf left. They switched the deposit to the elf. I also put down a deposit on a cornish rex. I found out later there was a female dwelf and female elf from that litter that were available now. They were going into the breeding program and the breeder changed their mind. They should have been offered as options when my original kitten died. They had horrible communication, wouldn't return messages. I had to beg for photos and updates on the kittens. My assumption is the kittens weren't healthy is the reason they avoided sending pictures. I wasn't provided an application to become an owner, nor was any contract information provided. At first a deposit was required and the rest due at pick up. Then it changed to paid in full by pick up, so they "could have money now". Once the deposit was received they were no longer interested in communicating. They were always busy talking to another prospective buyer, which was more important because they"needed the money". Days before pickup I was called. The male elf had a yeast infection so bad that I was offered my deposit back. I picked up the cornish rex and at pick up was told the rex didn't need any shots until 1 year old and that was optional. At that time I finally got to see the details of the contract.Within a few days of having the cat it was clear she was deaf. I brought that to the breeders attention, they didn't seem to care. The rex got along with our other 4 cats very well but she was very lazy. I was told this was a very active breed of cat but i assumed this one in particular was just a mellow cat. When I started to notice diarrhea on the floor I took her to my vet. She had an upper respiratory infection, mouth ulcers, and ring worm. No other human or animal in my home had ring worm. She was treated with an antibiotic and medicated shampoo. A week later we noticed she would not get out of her cat bed for quite some time. When we checked on her she had messed on herself but she made no attempt to move. When we were on our way to the vet she died in the vehicle in my child's arms. The vet said she suffered from a compromised immune system. I notified the breeder of her death. They immediately brought up the parameters of the contract. Letting me know I have to pay for a licensed pathologist to dissect the kitten and send the results to the breeder and their vet (who isn't a licensed pathologist) and "together they will make a decision". After some consideration I let the breeder know the kitten had suffered enough as well has our family. Being out a total of $2,000 plus whatever the pathologist would cost I was not going to keep paying to prove what we both already know. This was an unwell animal. I also have zero interest in another kitten from this breeder. Our other cats are 6 yrs, 4 yrs, and 9 months. Our Rex from steal your heart exotics was 7 months old when she died. We paid another fee to have her cremated so we could keep her ashes in her memory. I would avoid this business at all costs. I have screen shots of all messages between the two of us.

This facility sold a cat that was exhibiting mildly poor health. After 3 vets and 4 visits, it was…read moredetermined that the cat had Feline Coronavirus, which then led to a mutation, resulting in the fatal FIP. My cat Dolly passed away on 4/13/21, the day after the diagnosis. After explaining the circsumstances to the owner, I was told that they haven't bred the breed of cat in years. She said, "you didn't get the cat from me." After showing the owner the Facebook post from the day the cat was purchased, she suddenly remembered selling the cat, but said that she meant they haven't bred that breed in years. (sudden epiphany, right!) The lack of remorse, or even initially admitting to have sold the cat shows the integrity of the business. The unmitigated gall to sell any animal that has symptoms of ANY virus is callous and frankly, frightening. As with all viruses, I would suspect that this is contagious and may harm her "inventory" which she is fine with selling to the public. Tonight, I will tell my 2 daughter's that their cat passed away, after my girls have fallen in love with her for the last 5 months. Break Your Heart Exotics is a more accurate name.

I really hope the birds are not consuming the glue while they eat the food off, that would be really bad. The petting zoo feed was $1.00. Thought that as a really fair price... you get to experience the animals coming up to you while you feed their life stock. The market was nice, I feel that was a bit pricey as well. It was really hot and there were a lot of flies until the experience for the been a lot better in a cooler weather situation.

I learned that farm work is hard work, but full of joy, beauty, intrigue. Every day is another story to tell about an experience with the animals or in the wide-open fields. I think this is how I would describe Farmland Adventures. The employees are super friendly (from the owner down to the tracker driver), but obviously work hard to give everyone an enjoyable farm-experience.. The land is large & beautiful and full of intrigue. And everyone leaves with a story because they experienced animals they could touch or ride or feed or cheer for (they have pig races, y'all!!!), and they got to be in a wide open field that happens to have a HUGE corn maze, peddle carts, and outdoor farm-y things to do. All these stories could be told around a campfire they have for parties (if that interests you). I'm tell ya, if you live in NWA (or are visiting NWA in Sept--Oct), you have to do a day at Farmland Adventures. It truly is an adventure! As for COVID stuff, the employees wear or don't wear masks according to gov't regulations. People who come are welcome to wear a mask if they want, but are not required since it is outdoors (love that!). They sanitize regularly the poles & tables & such that people touch. I personally don't expect them to do all this because it is a farm -- stuff is dirty! But, I guess I like the extra care for those who care more than I do. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Great for all family members. Oh, and they have different events happening on different days, like "Mom's Day Out" on Thursdays that are less expensive for moms. Also, there is a military discount, as well as discounts for law enforcement & fire rescue. Really love they take care of those folks!
