Her silly, tender, and bubbly personality translates into a breathtaking mix of shots, the perfect mix of serious & loving, always perfectly imperfect. Simply put, Kallyn is an artist. These aren't your typical posed slightly fuzzy newborn photos, propped up by studio items, but rather are a snapshot of our life and family, doing the things we love to do. (Note: we've had 8 sessions in 3.5 years and one of those was while giving birth!!) Kallyn lets play and joy (and yes with two toddlers, always some tears) unfold and documents each moment. The relationship we see between us and our children without fail bring tears to our eyes- a small moment frozen in time forever, something so important with kids who grow so quickly. Especially during the first year, it was a priority as a family to truly capture their ever changing bodies, hair and expressions. Each session she asks "what do you love about your babies at this age," and then without fail captures those tiny details and features- ev

Her eye is unmatched, her ability to direct even the most camera shy person is *chefs kiss*, and the cherry on top is how you feel when you see the images she has captured. I just feel so seen and like my whole family is its most genuine self captured in a beautiful snapshot we can forever cherish.

I am surprised to see a lot of the negative reviews on here! I have had a very positive experience…read moreso far with Warren. My fiancé and I knew immediately after meeting with him that Warren was the one for us. We've done our engagement shoot so far and the pictures turned out beautifully. We will also be using him for my bridal shoot and our wedding(will update when we finish with those!). His photos are above and beyond what I had seen elsewhere in our price range. He has a natural eye for photography - just take a few minutes to scroll through his Instagram and you'll see what I mean. I am originally from the north and I have noticed when I moved to the south, sometimes people take things I say/do differently than I intend sometimes. Warren is British and I think he probably runs into the same thing. Warren has a very calm demeanor and his energy meshed well with my own and my fiancé's energy. My interactions with him have been nothing but positive. I guess here's the thing - quality photography is not cheap, even in the digital age. You get what you pay for - you are not just paying for the ink on the paper, you are paying for the time and skill that also went into that photo. Hours go traveling to the place you're taking pictures, creating the ideal shoot, finding the best angles/poses/backgrounds for each photo, doing edits, etc. I sincerely think that you can't get much better quality for the price. If excellent photography is priority for your engagement/bridal/wedding shoot, go with Warren.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience here, and unfortunately I would not recommend this…read morestudio based on my experience. Last year, I responded to a Facebook advertisement offering a free photoshoot for you and your dog, along with a $150 art credit. The photoshoot itself was advertised as being worth around $300, so I was excited to have the opportunity to get professional photos of my dog. What I did not realize was that the "$150 art credit" was essentially meaningless given the actual pricing of the products offered. Before we were even allowed inside, the photographer, Jessica, insisted that my dog go to the bathroom first. I had already explained that she had literally just gone before we left our house, but we were still not allowed to come inside until she did so. Once the photoshoot began, my dog was clearly very uncomfortable and frightened by the camera. Despite this, Jessica continued insisting that we try different poses. Eventually, I had to put my foot down and say that we were not taking any more pictures because my dog was clearly stressed. I was also surprised by the lack of guidance during the session. Since this is supposedly a studio specializing in pet photography, I expected the photographer to have some tips or techniques for getting a nervous dog to look at the camera or pose. Instead, I felt like I was doing most of the work trying to manage my dog while she was uncomfortable. After the photoshoot, we were told to leave and go to Starbucks to get a pup cup while Jessica prepared the slideshow. We came back, watched the slideshow of the handful of photos that had been taken, and were then presented with a booklet showing the prices. This was where I was completely blindsided. There was absolutely no upfront disclosure of the actual pricing before or during the photoshoot. I ultimately paid approximately $750 for five digital images-- five pictures that were simply delivered digitally to my phone. These were not elaborate portraits or unique artistic compositions that I felt justified the price. With the session itself, I ended up spending about $900 total for five digital photos on a plain black background that my 3 year old cousin could've taken. Jessica also suggests you wear black clothes - thankfully I did not listen. Black clothes on black background just means doing the absolute bare minimum editing. Jessica also does not personally even do the editing. The $150 art credit felt extremely misleading because there was nothing remotely close to that price that she offered. If I had been told beforehand that I could potentially be spending hundreds of dollars for only a handful of digital images, I never would have agreed to the session. You also can't just purchase 1 or 2 pictures digitally - no less than 5, and more than that was hundreds more. What makes this experience especially upsetting to me is that I was 23 at the time and had just started my very first job out of school and recently moved to the Triangle from Alabama. This was one of the first things I chose to spend my first paycheck on because I was excited to have beautiful professional photos of my dog. Instead, I left feeling like I had been pressured into spending an enormous amount of money without ever being given a clear understanding of what the products would cost. Unfortunately, I felt blindsided and taken advantage of, and I would not choose to have this experience again. Do not be fooled by this place.
