I'm a sucker for the Paper Source! I can seriously get lost in there for an hour just browsing the cards and all their giftable items. The cards aren't cheap, but you can get some really unique ones. Perfect for a wedding or baby shower where people end up receiving a whole bunch of the same card. They usually always have at least one sale going on in the store and a small clearance section if you are looking for a bargain. It is the perfect place if you are looking for a last minute gift since you can buy the gift, the card, and the wrapping paper all in one spot. The employees are friendly every time I go in, they always greet me and ask if they can help me find anything. Parking can be tricky in North Hills as we all know. I find the easiest way is to go down to the garage and park on that first level. Once you go up the escalator the Paper Source is right across the street!

This Paper Source must want to stay on the down low. Quiet, tucked away in North Hills open for less than a year, hiding in plain sight. Near Anthropologie. Here I had been waiting for the South Point Paper Source to open up....and all along there was one right under my nose. The paper stock is the bomb. Probably one of the best sources of fine papers that you can use in anything you can think of...scrapbooking to cardmaking to maybe making lampshades, gift boxes...honestly...anything. Or maybe just buy the papers to look at them, they are so aesthetically delicious. The staff is amenable enough. It seems to me that they like where they work. Which is great for enthusiasm and encourages me to come back in the future.

When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the staff, one of them I believe was named May, and she was incredibly sweet. Everyone was welcoming and gave clear directions to head to the back for the class. Once I got there, the owner was leading the session and greeted me right away. My best friend had arrived earlier and saved us seats close to the instructor, which made the experience even better. The owner was so patient, kind, and attentive throughout the class. The class itself was very beginner-friendly and easy to follow. She walked us through each step, making sure everyone felt comfortable and confident. It was such a fun and relaxing experience. I truly didn't want it to end! I left feeling inspired and honestly like I had found a new hobby. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to try something creative and fun!

Almost immediately it became my go-to shop for art supplies - and framing supplies as well. I do a bit of framing on the side for myself, family, and friends, and they carry a great selection of mat boards and backer/mounting boards, including archival products. I can't really speak to their in-store frame selection since I've only needed mat board and mounting supplies since I started shopping here. Their art supply selection is huge, and they carry just about anything you could need. The customer service has always been excellent - everyone I've interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. And if someone wasn't personally familiar with what I needed help with, they were always quick to find another associate who was. Their prices are also very fair, especially considering the excellent selection and customer service you get in return. I would absolutely recommend this Jerry's to anyone. If you've never shopped there before, I think you'll be very happy once you do!

It is locally owned and was founded in 1968, when Sid and Pat Oakley converted a former tobacco field into the site. It started small with one building and has since grown over time to many more. Two studios are used for glassblowing, and five studios are for pottery, including a kiln. The gallery is 4,000 Square feet, so there is a lot to see! When you come here, you will pick up on the creative vibe and community that develops as artists support each other. The location is pretty great too as you are away from the hustle and bustle and can just relax in nature whether you are strolling through the garden or just walking to the front door of the gallery. Sometimes when you visit, you can watch the artists work as they create their masterpieces of pottery or glass. The studios allow the public to watch at a safe distance. I like the variety of genres here, as you will find glass, wood, pottery, metal, jewelry, felt and more. Many events and festivals happen throughout the year. The National Tea Pot Show is currently going on through the summer, and it happens once every three years, so it is worth checking out. Pottery and Glass Festivals happen at other times of the year. The Cupful Exhibit is another favorite, featuring creatively designed homemade mugs. The Glass Egg Festival is unique in that the 55 blown-glass, unique eggs are auctioned each year for charity. The employees are always friendly when I've been here to browse or shop, and they help you find what you are looking for. They have a rewards program where, after you spend a certain amount, you get a discount and 20% off an item in your birthday month. I highly recommend making a trip to explore this gallery, as you never know what will catch your eye.
