At the end of the day its Walmart, however the security guard with a southern accent and 2 RATS-ironic, tattooed on his arm is a constant joke. My husband and I decided to take a break from moving and go for a motorcycle ride. We parked our car in the parking lot on the garden center side to be out of the way. Whilst on our ride, we broke down do it took a couple hours to repair the bike on the side of the road. Security gaurd(SG) had stuck 2 neon green warnings on my windshield right in the line of sight for both driver & passenger. He took the backing that makes it easy to remove off, so it was solidly stuck. we spent 15mins scraping it off with a pocket knife. While doing that SG drove up to us at an alarming rate of speed, then locked up his brakes as he stopped & got out to instigate an altercation. Asked if we didnt know how to read as he saw us attempting to make it possible to see so we could leave. I said I read his vandalism fine before needing to remove it. He said it was his job. I asked it was his job to vandalize customers cars? Yes.. 3 days later, same thing even after telling management. This time SG was parked in the no parking by the doors. My husband stuck the warning on SG's car, what's good for the goose right? SG got to his car, floored it across the store front, down the row we were on, aimed for my husband!! At the last minute steered away and threw something out of the window at us cussing! Super professional!! Add to that last Monday night one cashier and self check open.. and a line back to the shoe section!! I left after 45 mins and not moving past gift wrap in that entire time. Why do you not have backup cashiers?!?! I just left there tonight about 30 mins ago.. I had some returns. I have multiple chronic pain disorders and this odd weather recently has made me not feel well. I finally was able to feel well enough to venture out, I get there and they block off the help counter as I walk up. I waited for a second to see if they infact were going to help everyone but me, they absolutely were. Lady behind the countef yells,"WE CLOSE!!" I explained I was right there when they blocked it off. She said, "NO WE CLOSE 9!!" I walked out. Walking to my car I was pretty sure it wasn't 9pm yet, it was still light out.. it was 8:11pm.. so all the effort and pain I put myself through to get there just to get turned away 49mins early and watch everyone get helped but me. I get you don't set customer service as a priority because u have plenty of business regardless if you're helpful and thinking of your customers, but your customers are how you get paid and keep the shelves full and the lights on etc.. wouldn't hurt to show you halfass appreciate it on occasion. read more

My elderly mother fell in the parking lot at Walmart. We walked inside, and I asked an associate, Geneen, if she could please call a manager, and she answered "what for?". I told her that my mom just fell, and that we needed an ice pack. She said nothing. A few minutes later, the manager arrived, and I told him my mom had fallen, and that Geneen had been rude. He stated that her response is "that's what we train them to say". No apology from either of them. He didn't ask my mom how she was, he just asked me to show him where she had fallen. I said yes, and then turned around and he was gone. It took them 5 minutes to bring an ice pack for her. I will never shop this store again! I bought a dentist play doh set for my kids 3rd birthday and when we opened it up everything was wrapped in paper and the molds for the play doh were covered in brown sticky substances. So obviously someone who has a disgusting home returned this and this was rewrapped in paper and shoved into the box. I recently went to Walmart and I haven't gone for a long time but I have to say it was probably one my worst experiences . Their main problem is not having enough cash registers open, instead of having more cash registers open, they have people stocking shelves. So I went too Walmart Rohnert Park yesterday 2-25-2020 and was looking for a CB antenna. I started on line and located one that was in stock and at The Rohnert Park location great..!! .... So I got there and started looking around for the item couldn't find, so I asked an employee, hey do you have CB antenna's the employee said no that all they had was fm antennas, I said are you sure..?? I said, I have it right here on my phone that you carry them and that you have them in stock..!! And proceeded to show him on my phone look it's right there..!! He then said O you have too order that..!! I said how long will it take too get it, he then stated he didn't know..!! (Great) So then I thought, I'm gonna look around again just too make sure, sure enough I found it about 15ft from where we both where, I said I found it, it was locked and behind glass, I said I found it (he said ) no that's an Fm antenna I said know I think it's a CB antenna Just unbelievable the lack of effort from this employee..!! This Walmart is "super" in a sense. They have a small grocery section (and by the time I got there, it had been picked clean) They have a small McDonald's, a nail shop, a pharmacy. When it comes to paper goods&necessities like socks&underwear, they're great. If you need to stock up on toilet paper, Kleenex&paper towels, this is your destination. The parking lot is sizable&clean, as is the store itself. They had lots of registers open. They even carry La Tortilla Factory tortillas out of nearby Santa Rosa. It's one of the cleaner Walmarts I've been to, it's beside an Outback Steakhouse (that was shockingly quiet during a Saturday lunch rush) and a Dollar Tree. I found most of what I needed. This is about Walmart in General and their business tactics. This company has no morals, values or ethics. Since May of this year I've been trying to get my refund for $107.07 Every single CSR I spoke with told me the refund was being processed and I'd see it in 2 to 10 days. This did not occur. There is no way that I've found of speaking to anyone in their finance department a manager, or anyone at Corporate. In fact if you want to file a complaint you have to pay them $9.00 to Walmart to actually file a complaint. Are you serious? This shady business is about keeping or getting your money one way or another. The only recourse for my issue was filing a complaint with the BBB. I'm done with Walmart. If you don't use a card for your purchase you can't use the self checkout at all. That's like punishing somebody for using cash instead of a card. It's ridiculous, insulting and disrespectful to those of us who don't believe in using a card. I had the worst experience ever today at Walmart. I spend hundreds of dollars each month at this store on supplies for my company and various essentials. It's convenient since they open at 600am. Today I went to return an item and I stood at the customer service desk for 20 mins. The girl Cori came out of some door and just ignored me and said nothing to me. She kept answering the phone and didn't even once tell me she would be with me shortly. Zero customer service skills. She was more worried about answering the phone then helping a customer that's standing right in front of her. There were also 3 Walmart employee wearing yellow jackets just standing at the door. This is one of the busier Walmarts I have ever been to. It is often times very crowded in the parking lot as well as in the store. I try and keep my visits to this location very short lived, parking on the outskirts so I do not have to deal with the crazy drivers in the lot. The staff is friendly and helpful tho- my last visit brought me there on grounds of getting a paycheck cashed during the weekend. Walmart stores are notoriously bad for shopping, but the Rohnert Park branch takes the cake! In addition to messy, blocked aisles, misplaced items without price tags, the vast majority of employees are lazy, clueless, or unwilling to help. Last month, I asked an associate who had just finished showing another customer a product from a case, to show me something from the same case. He begrudgingly directed me to the long line at the counter, where another associate was working. After waiting in line, when my turn finally came, the associate claimed he didn't have the keys to the case! In another instance, I was standing in front of the register in the Electronics dept, with 3 associates chatting in front of me for the longest time. They all ignored me, but when a young, pretty woman showed up, she got help right away. After the young woman left, and I asked for help, I was ignored. I even confronted one of the young associates, but he just turned his back on me and left me standing there. I dread stepping in the Walmart store in Rohnert Park, as every time I have to spend a lot of energy if I can even find out what I am looking for, and come out disheartened, and more of a misanthrope. read more

I am going to round up on this WalMart. I have never spent the night in a Walmart parking lot until now. I was doing a bike ride and wanted to save a little cash by sleeping in the back of my minivan with stow and go seating. The parking lot looked safe enough and it was. The noise was a little much, but then again you are sleeping in a parking lot. Got some beverages from here the next day. It is a normal Walmart. This store is terrible. It's never very clean and always has entire pallets of merchandise sitting in the worst locations. It takes forever to find anything, and researching an item's location online before you get there is useless, because nothing is ever where they claim it will be. I wen to buy 20 bags of mulch 8am on Saturday Feb 15, 2020 and the two older Ladies at the register gave me a very bad attitude when I asked them for instruction on how to purchase 20 bags of mulch located outside. They told me to get one bag outside or take a picture of the bar code and give it to them, they did not open the nearest door located on the garden area and had me walk all the way to the main door. I took one bag and walk all the way back to them and when I got there one old lady at the register said ok he needs to do his backyard and the other old lady at the register said "So? I ordered two cases of cat food @37 each. One was delivered with no information about the second case. After three days, I called and was told I'd receive it by the end of that day. I did not receive it and called again. I was told I didn't receive it because it was out of stock. I was issued a refund and told I could try reordering it. Very disappointed with the ladies fitting room, if you are in a wheelchair forget trying anything on. The handicap Accessible fitting room is being used as a storage room filled with boxes. Sad when you have to try on a top outside of the fitting room over your clothes and everyone can see you & the stuggle to do this in a wheelchair. This is the worst store ever. From walking in the front door to the tiled (slippery as hell floor) and grabbing a rickety shopping cart, to the customer service. It's all terrible. Today I waited on aisle E32 (the pet aisle) for 30 minutes along with other customers waiting to buy flea meds, collars, leashes, toys etc. What store keeps the dog leashes and collars in a locked case? Unreal. 3 employees walked past, when asked for help, their response was "we will get someone". No page over the intercom was actually done, except for by one of these employees. At this point, I had waited almost 15-20 mins, totally ridiculous considering I spent almost 100$ on this one aisle. It was so bad that I on my phone called the store - the girl who answered said she would page someone - she did not, no one arrived. So I called back 5 mins later - she now pages someone - no one arrives. This is now 30 minutes. So I called back to the store, asked for the store manager, was told no one was there. The poor girl answering the phones actually had to walk all the way across the store with a key to open the cabinet. I expected this was the end of our interaction, but no, she now had to escort me to the register with the products I wanted to buy. Waste of both of our time. Ridiculous. 1. Who locks up dog and cat products? I've never seen leashes and collars under lock and key. 2. Whoever is in charge of this store needs to do some serious cleaning and retraining of the staff. Their sense of urgency and willingness to help a customer is almost non existent. 3. Would it break the bank for them to spend 100$ on one of those little PAGE buttons to place next to the case? (The ones that less crappy chain stores have.) Pathetic mess of a store. I will not go back - this has to be the most poorly run and staffed store in all of Rohnert Park. I would start by firing Justin, the absolutely useless paycheck. He ignores all his customers, from beginning to end of sale. Yesterday I was struggling with a few large bags of mulch in the garden area. 2 administrative staff members came up to assist me even though they were in business attire. They also took the time to listen to a couple of needs and requests that I had. I shop here all of the time. The staff in electronics are very knowledgable. My only request is that they keep the store more completely stocked (often the cosmetic pegs are empty) and they hire more help in the areas where assistance is most needed: electronics, hardware and garden.
