After waiting several minutes one of the pharm techs told us the insurance card was not going through even though we had just used it at the oral surgeon's office. He explain that it may have worked there but it was not going through with the pharmacy. We took the prescriptions back and went to McKay's. Dr. McKay explained that if we had that problem at CVS it will be the same problem on his computer, which it was. However, he went into further detail explaining to us that we were having this problem because the insurance card was not up to date and that some of the numbers were different. This was something the CVS pharm techs did not explain to us. Dr. McKay continued typing away on his computer trying to figure out a way to help us. First bad experience they didn't have enough of a medication to fill my whole order and gave me 10 pills with the assurance that I would get a call when the rest was available. Over a week later I called them and they told me that the script had been filled but then thrown out as it wasn't picked up. That exact moment another person working there was on a headset and said into it " hello Mr _______. This is Walgreens calling you to let you know your prescription is ready" Like...right in front of me while the other guy is saying they don't call people. Then...another script, i called numerous times and they said there was something about the insurance and they would look into it and call me back. 2 days later I again called THEM and they lied to me saying someone called and left a message saying the insurance required mail order and they can't/won't help me further. No calls and no messages no voicemails came to my phone from them so that wasn't true. So...I called my insurance. They said they don't require mail order and told me they would look into local preferred pharmacies they use and guess who they came up with first!? This very walgreens. When i told them that walgreens told me you told them they can't fill this script the agent said there is no way that is true as thier clients use that pharmacy often and there was nothing about mine that would make anyone tell them it had to be mail ordered. So they lied about calling and lied about why they wouldn't fill the script. So they lied numerous times to me, refuse to be helpful and have lost my business and anyone else I can tell about it. These are important mental health drugs that i need and have now gone 2 weeks without because of them givung me the runaround and lying. They shouldn't be allowed to be in business.

It is the only place to buy greeting cards, gift wrap and personal care products. Service varies from very helpful to occasionally cantankerous. We stopped by to print some photos and pick up cards. A clerk helped us with the photos which take only a few seconds to print. They carry a reasonable supply of alcohol including a few higher end bourbons and liquors. They have great clearance sales end of season and holidays. I always manage to pick up some fun trinkets at the end of summer. It is also the only place I noticed that has toys if you want to spoil the grandchildren. The selection is far from upscale but they do have bubbles and that's all you need on a hot summer day to put a smile on their face. Getting here is easy in and out. There is a drive through pharmacy that I have not used. They are located about 3 miles off 65.

I know not everyone will have this problem, and that he feels he has a "reason" to be prejudiced against me, but again, he's too immature to be in the position he's in. To use your position to postpone peoples medicine where their health is concerned is not only petty but dangerous.
