My coffee dates were grumpy before breakfast!

The coziest coffee spot with delicious pastry, we stopped in on a busy Saturday morning and everyone was so friendly and happy to be there!

This place is amazing. Very good atmosphere and cozy! The food is really good. We just got a muffin but still yummy. They give you a number after you order and they bring your coffee and food to the table! The only coffee shop I know of doing this!! Highly recommend!

Love the food and atmosphere here! My fiancé and I stopped in close to Christmas when there were a couple of inches of snow on the ground, and it was so cozy and sweet that I could've hung out there for hours

I'm from out of town and a big coffee drinker and Main Street by far has my favorite latte and I grab one every time I visit. The staff is always so friendly and helpful and the reason I found this delicious drink after mentioning a few things I like and what would be something good to try. Even on the weekends the wait is still fast and it's such a welcoming atmosphere and cozy too if you want to dine in. Try the Peanut Butter Cup (iced with oat milk is my go to) next time or any of their amazing offerings. Thank you MSC staff

Everything was lovely! I had the carnitas bowl with Irish crème Iced coffee. The iced coffee was ok. It had more caffeine than sweet. The cartina bowl had guacamole/avocado, brown rice, tomatoes, lettuce, pulled pork, black beans, jalapeños. Legit and healthy. It was big too! Definitely satisfied. Kind of pricey though, but it was allot and I had a small bowl. This was my first time. It was packed and staff were extremely nice and informative on helping me what to get. Very clean, organized and decorative. Definitely coming back. Just wish it was more adorable lol

We have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The carnitas bowl is spectacular. Highly recommend this cute place for coffee, breakfast or lunch.

Main Street Coffee is a super cute coffee shop in the adorable town of Spencer, Indiana. I stopped here after hiking at McCormick's Creek State Park. Not only do they offer an extensive coffee menu, they also offer unique food items. I ordered an Iced Carmel Macchiato, which was a step above Starbucks. However what I am most excited about are the Tamales offered! They have Tamales Tues-Saturday and they are delicious and completely unexpected! There is also plenty of seating as well as some fun handmade items for sale.

Breath taking atmosphere! Adequate parking for its size. Very friendly and attentive staff. Delicious food and baked goods. I had a very young waitress who was very professional for her age! It is also a little shop as well. They have wifi and a variety of seating. I recommend coming and ordering before 10am because I missed the famous egg sandwich but their bagels were delicious and made up for it!

If it allowed 10 stars, I'd have given Main St Coffee 10! Such a warm, friendly and inviting space with boho chic vibes. Family owned and you can tell by all of the personal touches from fantastic service to the thoughtful menu, it's all there. They offer a selection of lighter fare (soups/sandwiches) to a wide selection of coffee and non coffee beverages. Hours are typical coffeeshop (open until 3p) and are perfect for a spot to WFH. A true gem on the Spencer Square!

Seriously, I Travel for work and this might be the best coffee house in Indiana! Incredible space, coffee on point, menu is solid.

This place is a hidden gem! The food was amazing, the coffee was yummy, real silverware and napkin. Cool vibe and awesome music! I'm definitely coming back, thank you

A great cafe with a great selection of coffee, tea, and other delicious food and beverages. The ambiance is warm and welcoming as are the staff!

I have always loved this building and I love all they have done with it in renovation but also the way they adorn it inside and out !

If you have a large crowd you might be challenged. But we weren't there to take in a scene and icy water was brought immediately after we seated ourselves. We were provided paper menus but also check out the digital versions! There were a couple of differences, one was only wording but did result in a side upgrade for one in our party. I got the standard burger and, with the server's recommendation, added bacon jam and aioli to make a smaller version of the double-pattied civilian burger. Delicious and right sized for me. The fries are a must. They're beer battered steak fries, crispy outside, soft and steamy inside. The pulled pork got positive reviews but looked messier than what I wanted to manage in that moment. The menu has a good variety, including a couple of vegetarian options. I was also very happy to find a rye beer with a more modest ABV as I like the spicy bitterness of rye beers but they tend to be more than I want after hiking around on a hot day. Service was great. Our server was familiar with the menu and super friendly. This spot is a great option after a hike in the area, especially if you're cringing at the thought of navigating the student crowd in Bloomington but still want a good meal and beer. Added bonus: fantastic prices.

I tried the Pilsner they had on tap and it was decent, my wife got a sour that she really enjoyed. The brewery was clean and had a welcoming vibe. We sat at the bar too and the service was excellent! I ordered the Cuban to eat, I thought it was just ok, however the mustard seed brown mustard was very tasty! The Civilian burger with bacon jam was very flavorful!

I was surprised how many of the wait staff knew the customers by name! Still, we received prompt, friendly service, even though it was evident we didn't know our way around. Everything I tried was great! One thing that impressed me was that they were constantly turning the food on the buffet tables. I'm not a fan of buffets as sometimes the food seems a bit old, but that wasn't the case here. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. The price was quite reasonable for the amount of food (all you care to eat). This goes on our list of places to stop in town!

I press napkins into pizza to absorb as much fat as possible because I think it's gross. However....my mom was an excellent home cook - healthy, well-rounded meals that included some fried, some bacon fat, pies & cobblers & shortcakes. Chambers is all of that. It fills not just my stomach but my soul. Good old home cooking -- fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans with bacon fat, homemade bread, pan desserts. All I can eat. The place is clean. The staff is friendly & keeps the glasses filled. I don't feel rushed like I'm a mere commodity like so many Indy restaurants. My only request is that they rent cots in the parking lot for food-coma recovery. But it's worth it to me.
