I never liked dealing with Walmart because their customer service in every city is terrible! I got a new Christmas tree this year and of course I needed new Christmas lights for it. So I came to Walmart to grab some new lights but it turns out someone else in my family also bought new lights for the tree so we had plenty extra. I did a lot of traveling for the holidays and afterwards, now I'm back home and I go back to Walmart to return the lights that I didn't need and now, the second week in January, they're telling me that I cannot return them. Customer service says that there can be no exchanges or returns on any holiday items! Since when has this been a policy and why was it not stated during the time of purchase or anywhere on the receipt? I think that's ridiculous. Brand new lights that aren't even opened! read more

I tried going to the Costco in Alpharetta, but there was a line of 40 to 50 customers waiting to enter the store. As a result, I decided to drive across the street and shop at the Walmart. The prices at Walmart are definitely lower than other grocery chains, but they aren't as low as Costco. The store was busy, and many of the shelves were empty due to the virus scare. I had trouble finding some items, and when I asked store associates, one of them gave me bad information. After I finished my shopping, checking out was a nightmare. Out of the 16 available registers, only two of them were open. One register said 20 items or less, but the cashier was checking out customers with full baskets of merchandise. There are two self-serve checkout areas in the store. There were around 20 customers waiting in line to use the self-serve checkout. While the prices at Walmart are always good, the customer service is typically poor. I won't be back anytime soon. read more

I CAN'T AND WOULDN'T MAKE THIS STORY UP!This Walmart has always had bad customer service but I've continued to go there because it's so close to my house and because I like to leave my car at the Cactus Carwash and walk over to get groceries. I'm not going back again. They no longer have humans checking out customers. It's BAD! DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 5 items to purchase! It will take forever. My 8 year old and I went in today to get a few items but ended up getting 30-40 (as usual). When we went to check out we realized that we had to do the self checkout. I wasn't happy but maintained my composure. My daughter (again...she's 8) kept looking over to a woman who had a baby in the cart and buying groceries. She said "mommy, she has a lot of groceries and nobody is helping her". I looked and told her I agreed while taking her swimsuits off the crazy hangers. She mentioned it again as we were leaving - how that woman with a baby had to bag her own groceries while 3 employees stood there and watched! I recall seeing one worker but she said there were, at one point, 3 employees watching this poor woman check out and bag her own groceries....and it was a lot! I REGRET NOT WALKING OVER THERE AND HELPING THAT WOMAN BAG HER GROCERIES! When we got home we realized there was a package of vacuum belts in the bottom of the trash can I bought! We totally stole something from Walmart - had NO idea! Nobody was around to notice if we took clothes off hangers or if we had groceries inside our 13 gallon trash can!! Im sure a store chain as big as wall-mart collects sales/data metrics. They know what to expect for days like this, and should know how many people to staff with likely customer flow. I like the variety of grocery items and clothes they have but I am not going to buy anymore things here or on their website because the people in the customer service center here is so rude and not helpful nowadays. However, the cashiers are another story. I have found that most of the cashiers here are very friendly and the people at the front of the store are as well. The people in the customer service center here is so rude though. They have a way of not making you feel welcomed in their store. Every time I come in the store to return an item this guy named Girish always complains about it and how many times I come there to return things. Other customer service people have too. I come in many other times to but groceries too though.This is the 2nd time I have come into Walmart this month to return something though and that is no way to treat a customer. He doesn't seem to understand that the items they sell online are not in every store. I'm a short, little indian woman who is 4"5" tall and 37 years old so it's hard for me to find clothes in my size and when I find clothes online that I think will fit me I buy in bulk and then return the other items. Every time I come in he always says 'why do you keep returning things. You come here so many times.' That is no way to speak to a customer. He speaks to me like I have no right returning things at Walmart or shopping there. Also I was very surprised that Walmart didn't have an alternate way to give their customers their online orders because their tower was down. I was told to come back tomorrow again. Another way to make you feel like you are not welcomed. This is the reason I hate coming here and have been going to Target much more. This Walmart has many reasons why I prefer target but I will just give you one. Employee got upset that I ask her do they have anybody in the dressing room and told me that's not my department (Oh Really... but she folding up cloths) When I replied with, "Excuse Me" to make sure what she said. I have never been impressed with the customer service here, but my last visit finally made it review worthy. It was one of my Mini Yelper's birthday and i visited the bakery for a last minute cookie cake. Two employees were having a great conversation, but after a few, maybe several, minutes of being ignored I was rude and interrupted them with a request to have the cookie personalized. Here is the conversation. Me: "Excuse me, can i please have this personalized for my son's birthday?" Employee standing behind bakery counter: "I don't think anyone here can do that." Me: "Can you please check?" Employee: (without moving a muscle): "No, no one can" Me: Thanks for all your help Needless to say I went across the street and bought the cookie cake at Kroger where someone actually cared. [Time & Date of visit]: 5/10/2015 - 2pm-ish This review / rant is strictly based on the lack of service at the Customer Service center. Granted there wasn't any bit of a wait due to possibly everyone buying last minute Mother's day gifts. Before standing in line for my turn to exchange an unopened jug of motor oil, I went ahead to to the Automotive section to grab the 3M headlight restore kit. The walmart app, shows that online AND in store the price was $13.44 via the pic I'll attached. As with other walmart store locations I've been to, there wasn't a problem for them to price match usually for the price that's online and if the store price differ, if there wasn't a line waiting. Luckily, the item had the same price. Well, the cashier that day might not have gotten the flowers she wanted for Mother's day or something and decided to take it out on us instead. I asked her politely, that the price isn't correct when she scanned the headlight restore kit from what I saw on the customer facing register screen, as it was pulling as $15 something and on the app it's showing it as $13.44 for the store. She didn't even bother to even look at the OFFICIAL WALMART APP that I held up to her. With a rolling neck motion, she then stated, "The prices are different from online and the store." "I understand there are usually different prices online and the store, but this time they are the same price" I replied. With a even more stern look on her face and tone, she replied back with the same sentence, "The prices are different from online and the store." Add second neck roll. So now it seems, she doesn't really want to help me out. Ok, so I adjust my phone to full brightness, and show the listing for the item on my phone, that once again the online price and store are the exact same thing. Without missing a beat, and now adding the effect of one hand on her hip and tapping her fabulously hood extended fake nails that you wonder how she even types or uses her smartphone, on the register via multiple finger rolls. She retorts, "THE ONLINE PRICE AND THE STORE IS DIFFERENT..." Wow, you know what. I'm not going to waste any more brain cells trying to get her to understand that her system for the pricing is off, just for $2. So with a smile on my face to hold back from just asking for the manager, I once again politely stated, "Ok, I understand. Thanks". Summary: Don't expect customer service at the customer service center for this Walmart location. Or at least, ask the cashier if she got anything for Mother's day. If she replied back stating nothing, get out of line with any excuse, and then try to come back to another cashier if possible if you actually have the time. Also, stick to self check out. I think from now on, I'll just have an item sent from site to store at the Neighborhood Walmart down on Haynes Bridge, and just exchange / return my items there instead. This is one of the most unorganized, disjointed and frustrating Walmart's to go to. The self serve checkouts have been for the most part unusable for the last 12 months. I asked management about six months ago and the said new ones were on the way. C. Douglas Mcmillon and team should be ashamed to manage such a poor checkout process from the front end to the photo department to the garden shop. Probably my favorite story was ordering christmas cards last season and getting a phone call in late January that they were ready for pickup. Almost two months later. I would do my best to avoid this location. Poor running location for at least last three years. Walmart senior leadership either have a decent product or just shut it down. read more

An issue is that the service at all Wal-Mart locations are not the best. Some are exceptional but not much. I do frequently go to this location but not often. I prefer the Publix which closer. I just got off the night shift Saturday morning and was super tired and aching. I placed an online order today through Walmart to have my groceries delivered to my apartment and I'm pissed. I normally don't complain but today, I had to. The delivery driver named najayah dropped my groceries off at the bottom of the building instead of bringing them to my door and some of my items were damaged. She just left my items for me to get! WTF?!! What's the point of delivery if there not brought to your front door? Regardless of the amount of items a customer orders, delivery drivers are paid to deliver items to customers doors not leave them at the bottom of the building for a customer to fend for themselves. We are in a middle of a pandemic. Essential workers such as delivery drivers etc are supposed to come together and perform at their jobs to give back to communities. I called Walmart customer service to complain! They apologized and gave me a full refund for some of my items. I won't be ordering groceries from Walmart again. Really Walmart!!Really! read more

I wish I could leave a 0 star. It took me more than 1 hour to pick up an online order .first, the pickup kiosk is down. Someone finally came by but told me I had to go to garden center. Went to garden center, then was told I had to use an app to check in first. Took me 10 minutes to find the parking spot for pickup. Have waited for 10 minutes. No delivery yet. I will never shop at this Walmart again. It needs a new manager! read more

Compared to the regular Walmart stores, these Walmart superstores are very useful. They have a huge selection of all goods and products, and if your looking for it I'm sure they'll have it. Food and beverages are just some of what they have, along with several clothing aisles, and a huge selection of electronics with phones on display if you need them. If you need someone to help you, it might take a second, because it's a big store, but the staff is otherwise nice and there are a huge amount of cash registers in the front so you usually don't have to worry about waiting to purchase your goods for too long, which is great if your in a hurry. Huge stores like these help me if I'm looking for multiple things but if I'm just coming to shop for one specific thing it can be hard to find it in the massive maze of aisles. This store is a very multi-purpose and useful store that can be very helpful on many occasions. Highly suggested. read more

DONE!! I have absolutely made my last visit to this Walmart. I just can't take it anymore. Every time I come here, I simply feel frustrated because of the lack of logical organization, inability to find what I need and the frustrating check-out process. It has been several years since I consistently shopped at this location but I found myself in the area and needing to run in for some emergency items. During prime time hours, they had several pallets piled high with products that need to be shelved. They were just sitting in the aisles and I just felt that this was just really disrespectful to customers. Customers should not have to crawl over this type of obstruction in order to access what they need. This Walmart is what I refer to as a "lesser" Walmart compared to my preferred location in Suwanee. My Walmart is consistently organized, has a thoughtful layout, carries a great selection of items and is just easy to shop. If they do have products on pallets, it is because they are actively placing products and not just parking pallets. Check out is easy because you always have the option of self-checking . I eventually left without purchasing anything because I was simply tired of walking around in circles and having to dodge pallets. This Walmart needs to really focus on being more responsive to the needs of its customers and understanding what it means to have great customer service. read more

The worst customer service! I'm definitely not one that needs catering to, but my experience with the online pick up orders at the store was completely unacceptable. I placed an order online and received an email saying ready to pick up. Went to the pick up area and no one there has a clue as to what they are doing. Gave them my confirmation and order number and they said it was just cancel. They told me I didn't pick it up in time. The time for pick was 4-5pm on this particular day. I arrived there at 4:25. Unbelievable. I asked if they can look up the item to see if it is still available in the store for me to pick up. They claimed they couldn't do that either. I feel like Walmart hires people who have no common sense or can't speak English! So frustrating. I've had a number to unpleasant visits to Walmart in several locations in the country. I came to this side of town for an errand and thought I would stop in the vision center to grab my contacts, which I have done effortlessly in many occasions at other locations. I walked in, I wasn't greeted. I walked to the desk where the lady was standing, I asked if I could get some contacts. Without looking up, she gestured to the other guy. So I asked him and told him I had my prescription on my phone. Apparently, I came to the only walmart vision center that doesn't accept emails because they don't have one like the others do. After he told me that, he literally looked at his monitor and did nothing else. So I excused myself to the photo center to get a print of my prescription. I returned to the vision center to the same guy and he looked annoyed that I found a way to make him actually do his job. So he helped me with absolutely no personality. I inquired about a few things and he answered unsure while looking over at the doctor. Knowing that they could probably give me the real answers, he just didn't want to get up and ask. So he told me that they didn't have the contacts in stock and that they were more expensive than they even are at my boutique optometrist. He probably selected the astigmatism ones. But even if I asked, I'm sure he probably wouldn't have understood. To add, the lady that didn't even look up at me earlier was walking out of the door when I walked back in the second time. So I guess since she had 10 minutes left in her shift, she decided that she couldn't help me. Hands down, the worst experience at a Walmart. read more

Was in here for about an hour on a Thursday night a few weeks back and didn't come across one employee to point me in the right direction for a few things I needed. When I finally found most of what I came for I went to check out and what do you know, I think 5℅ of the registers were staffed. Curbside pickup? Don't bother. You can't find the where to park. The have 'camera' signs, 'shopping cart' signs, 'black Friday' parking, handicap parking, and law enforcement parking. I never saw any curbside parking, so I have the time Tom write this standing here at customer service. Update: customer service says go to the right hand side of the building, where of course would never go, and that's where you pick stuff up. Terrible Customer Service! There are 3 associates helping 2 customers at 2 registers to return merchandise. When 2 associates finish with 1 of the customers, they close the register and walk away even though I'm the only person standing in line, waiting to be helped! These same 2 associates stop to listen to another customer who just walked up to the counter and is talking to a 4th associate! All the while, I'm waiting to be helped!
