On Thursday, September 7, 2023, around 6:00 pm, I waited 20 minutes for the auto professionals to wait on other customers who were ahead of me. I ordered specific tires. The auto professional stated: "Your tires should be here Monday or Tuesday. We will text you when they come in." I received no text. I came early Tuesday morning at 6:30 am, September 12. At 7:00 am, auto professionals were opening doors and setting up displays all around my vehicle but no one spoke to me. At 7:30 am a man asked "How can I help you." I explained the above. He looked up my information on his iPad and stated: "Your tires have not come in yet. They should be in today. We will text you when they come in." I received no text. Today, Friday, September 15, 2023 around 6:00 pm, I went into this Walmart, walked to the auto center in the back of the store, waited about 20 minutes for them to wait on people who were ahead of me. Then the auto professional asked: "May I help you?" I explained the above to him. He went into the work bays looking for my tires. He came back to me after about 10 minutes and stated: "All I could find is one of your tires." He then assists his employee with a car battery. I said to him: "Hey Marc, Just cancel my order." Marc replied, "OK." He never apologized once. I'm done with Walmart Auto Professionals. I will now go to Discount Tire where I should have gone to begin with. read more

There's just no pros coming to this supercenter at all. Everytime I come here to get a couple of things it takes rounds to find a parking spot. I noticed most employees park in the closer spots to the store which IMO is very unfair. The lines are ridiculous at 11am on a Tuesday. Just imagine what this place looks like on a weekend. I remember when this store first opened and it was already trashed out. Ever since then I have not seen any improvement whatsoever. I mean it's walmart, but this is the worst location in terms of buying two items and getting stuck on the register for an hour. Only come here if you really have no choice. I parked in their lot and went in to make my purchases. When I returned to my car I put my shopping bags in the front seat and took a walk up the street where I ate a burger and came back about an hour later. My car was gone. WalMart had it towed! The Customer Service woman said there are signs up that say if you are going to the game they will tow your car. Cowboys Stadium is across the street. I told them I didn't go to a game and that it is March 30 and there isn't even a game to watch. They said the baseball game (a mile away?) was going on so they towed me. It cost just over $300 to get my car back and my WalMart purchases were right there on the front seat for all to see. I think management has a scam going on with the towing company, The parking lot was probably 1/3 full. There was no need to tow one of their customers unless someone is lining their pockets. If they really cared about their customers they would put up large lighted signs to warn people. I hope that is what happens as a result of my review. read more

I avoid going to any Walmart but this one especially. One night, a car drove "too close" to another's liking and they got out of their car and started to scream and threaten each other in the parking lot (mind you there's kids in the car). One reached into his glove box to reach for god knows what and that's when I left the scene. At night (don't ever go at night), not only is it dangerous, there's only 1 cashier open and a line that curves around the front half of the store. I don't feel safe, comfortable, or stress free in this store. It is disorganized and hectic. read more

I wouldn't give the Walmart any stars if I could. Awful experience. My one time I paid cash through the self check line, till was full and had to wait for a manager. I waited 15+ minutes to get my change back. You may want to hire more managers or train people at self check to handle the cash so when it is full, one of the two employees could assist with that. read more

To put it simply: This is the worst Wal-Mart in existence. Actually, it's probably the worst place ever. I'm sure hell ranks higher as a shopping destination. Why there is only one Wal-Mart in Arlington - a city big enough to have three and four of everything else - is a mystery. And why it has to be located right in the shadows of the football and baseball stadiums is outright dumbfounding. Both combined means this location is literally overflowing no matter what time or day you go. Walking into the building entrance not only smells like the world's biggest latrine, it makes you feel like part of a helpless, impoverished mass. And it just gets worse from there. This Wal-Mart is so overflowing with shoppers (who apparently don't shower and have 64 screaming children a piece), you can't go down any aisle or department with ease. If you have a shopping cart, the feeling is similar to being stuck on the interstate behind an eight car pile-up - nothing but lurches, jars, and the desire to curse yourself hoarse. If this Wal-Mart even carries the item you're looking for and you can actually find it (this is the only Wal-Mart I've been to that doesn't carry the John Freida volume collection), you'll be lucky if there are any left on the shelf. The organization of the store is down right frustrating, with things like bread and milk wwwwaaaaaayyyyyy in the back and an overflowing of ridiculous commemorative Cowboys shot glasses and jerseys right up front. And even though there are more people in this store than the entire country of Bulgaria, there are at most 3 registers open at a time. And if you're expecting any kind of customer service, forget about it. You'll probably find Waldo sooner than you'll find an employee, and they'll probably be as accommodating and helpful as a Somalian pirate ship. Seriously though - there is a positive side to this Arlington Wal-Mart. It'll make everything else in your life seem positively pleasant. After your visit, you'll probably want to go sit in rush hour traffic to relax. read more

DO NOT go to this walmart!! i use the curbside pickup on the walmart app to avoid the spread of COVID, and every single time i place an order i don't even receive HALF of the things that i purchased and was STILL charged the FULL AMOUNT. no one tried contacting me to tell me they either don't have that certain item or if i would like to switch it to something else. there's no number to call to fix this problem and either get my money back or actually get the things i purchased!! read more

This Walmart is called "the Ghetto Walmart" for a reason. I will never forget the night Luis and I were shopping. It was probably after midnight. A girl in bedroom slippers had (2) guys with her and they were in front of us. She kept counting her money, then she abruptly rolled her eyes at me placed a package of chicken over the separator bar into our section and never said a word? Traffic: Many times it is inaccessible d/t ballgames. Shopping Carts/Baskets: the other yelper was right. This Walmart does not have shopping baskets so I usually take a couple of plastic bags from the rounder upon entering. I used to take my own shopping bag, but now days I always forget to take it inside the store, but I do leave it in my van so that when I get the bags to the van I can put them all inside this plastic bag from the container store and just tote one bag inside the apartment. Bank: there is a bank inside. This is handy to get specific denominations of bills or coin wrappers. Cash Registers: around midnight the cash registers shut down for approximately 15 minutes and everybody waits in line until they come back up. Walmart has to count all those billions:) Cashier: There is one cashier w/ a short underdeveloped arm and she is extremely efficient and friendly. it is amazing how she can keep a smile while she has such ignorantly acting clientele She is a real testament to human nature! She always makes you feel welcome w/ her smile when you go thru her line. Clothing: I like the clothing selection at Walmart b/c they use 100% cotton in some of their dresses and sleep wear. I have their cotton summer dress in every color: white, navy, teal, and fuchsia, I did not get the red, white, and blue checked one. These dresses are even cotton lined. The sleep wear is an nice thin cotton. I have the lime green top and gown and top length. The cotton sleepwear is so nice that I can wash it in the bathtub and hang it outside to dry and it comes out so refreshing and dries quickly. The low prices on these garments is awesomely low as well. I just wish Walmart would make more clothes out of this thin cotton. Customer Service: When I go to return something there is this one cashier who usually has a fantastic elaborate hairdo and she is as rude as sin. She never smiles and usually has a nasty attitude so I don't say much to her. She is usually there at opening time. I am surprised they keep her there in customer service? Electronics Dept: These people are always helpful. This is the best part about this Walmart. McDonald's: Their dining room is being remodeled now. Nail Salon: there is none inside. My manicurist up the road said she protested the addition of a nail salon to this Walmart b/c she says the area is too small to support it. Optical Dept: The big "ghetto-fabulous" flamboyantly dressed woman w/ the extremely long artificial nails was too lazy or refused to give me the fax number for 1 800contacts, but the middle aged fella conservatively and appropriately dressed also who works in the dept was real kind about going in the back and giving it to me. The lady said since I was not having the contact lens delivered to Walmart and I was having them delivered to my apartment she could not or would not provide the fax number. Sports: this Walmart always has elaborate sport themes at the entrance due to the Stadium's being right across the street and the Ranger's stadium being down the street. It was rumored before the football stadium was built that this Walmart would be torn down to make a parking lot, but its still standing and doing an awesome business. This Walmart has the new arrangement of beauty products immediately to the right as you enter and a few feet back from the door promotions. I like this and it has spoiled me so much that I don't like shopping at East Chase, which a very ominous Walmart from the inside. Some guys were smoking marijuana inside the men's clothing dept about 5 years ago at Christmas at the Walmart on East Chase. Parking Lot: Can be scary. Always have your guard up. I have encountered several young males in broad daylight bumming money or just loitering. read more

Terrible customer service! Arrogant and incompetent employees. I bought 3 pairs of shorts. One of them were hung on size 36 hanger but in fact the shorts were size 40. Went back there just to do an exchange, drove in traffic for over 30 minutes. When I got there I was told that the system didn't allow exchanges in the evening hours and they told me to come back the next day. I was trying to explain that I live far away and I don't want to waste more time to exchange an item that was labeled wrong to start with. The customer service person told me... "Well, too bad..." I dropped the shorts on the floor and said I would never shop there again and left. I survived this store. My frozen food items, however, did not. Waited in line behind a woman who nitpicked over the price of everything, then paid with her Lone Star cards. (Yup, plural.) Then bitched when she had a $7 balance. She decided that she needed to RUMMAGE THROUGH HER PURCHASES THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN RUNG UP to pick out $7 worth of products to put back. Pulled up to a beggar in the lot. He looked like a normal Walmart shopper from the area until I saw him bother people getting in and out of their vehicles. Back to the true story. I went to Walmart to return something unused and a low quality product. I was meet with two workers ready to end their day... It was only 10:30 am! So I was treated like another piece of meat going through slaughter. One and done. They are basically upset unsympathetic people who hate their job and love complaining while there. Summary, I was treated coldly when I tried to be pleasant. I also had to learn mind reading because friendly communication was not there, for example, "OK your making a return, did you have your receipt? Thanks!" Yeah that wasn't said but rather imagined in my head. Lesson, Walmart is a place to hang your head low and expect low prices and horrible service with an organization which appears they have high turnovers in employeement. Worst Walmart ever, the traffic here is terrible because of it's location next to the AT&T stadium. Ahh.... Your typical Walmart... Where it's always packed, bad services & where there are 30 registers but only 4 open. Except this Walmart isn't your typical Walmart. It is even worst! Can you believe that?! This place is always packed due to the location right next to the Cowboys Stadium. What makes it worst is that there are only 2 paths into to the store and it's tight. The service here is horrible.. My first time here I was shopping for some cloths. The employee that was helping me basically was just ranting the whole time about how much he hated his job & then proceed to follow us around the store saying he's gonna "help" us look for stuff so he look busy, which was very awkward. My second time here I was looking for a tire pumper for my car because I got a flat tire. I went to look around the tire area for it but couldn't find anything. I proceed to ask the 3 employees at the service desks for some help. They were half paying attention and was carrying conversations with each other. Eventually one of them told me that they don't sell tire pumper here and told me to go to Pepboys. As I was walking away I can hear the employees saying how they don't want to do anything and ready for break. I continue to look around the aisles and what do you know... Found a whole area where they sell LOTS of tire pump... You think that Walmart never having anyone at the registers is bad? Try having the Self checkout closed too! What is this.... Would I come back here again? If I'm in the area and really need to get something.. but this is probably the worst Walmart I been to. read more

I HATE this wal mart. It's not necessarily the people who work there but it's ALWAYS packed. You can never get a parking space that isn't 100 miles from the door. There's people walking around the lot who pester you for this and that. Riff raff basically. The checkout lines are almost always long. No matter the time of day. I went in at 11 on a weekday and the self check out line was all the way to produce. The outside is dirty and sketchy people are always around. The staff is fine. Not the friendliest and some need to learn how to bag groceries. One item a big is annoying. All around this wal mart sucks and if it wasn't less then 1 minute from my house I would never go there. read more

This supercenter is far from where I live, but the associates there are so helpful. I went in to see the CSM and I have been there 3 times to see him and couldn't find him. Each time I go in I am met with friendly associates. The organization is very helpful and you can find just about everything that you need. Not every Walmart has great people. but I have found 2. one in Bedford TX and this one here. Still haven't met the manager but this gentlemen walked the entire store, looking for him for me. Without a doubt the most dysfunctional store I've ever been to. We scheduled a grocery pickup at 2 and were told they were waiting on one item and it would be 30 minutes max. 45 minutes later we talk to another employee (outside of course because they don't answer the store phone) and they say they don't know anything and they'll go in to check. After 20 more minutes of waiting with nobody coming outside we gave up and left. What item could they possibly be "waiting on" that takes that long to get? What's the point of scheduling a pickup 2 days in advance if they still don't have it on time? They're clearly not gathering groceries for online orders so why can't anyone be answering the phone? This is based on the helpfulness of the initial employee that assisted me. I needed some help in the fabric department. Someone paged an associate to come. After waiting for a few minutes an associate asked if I needed help. I told him that someone had been paged to help me. He said he was going to personally get someone to help me & bring them to that area. I was definitely thrown off guard. As we all know these things don't happen @ Wal-Mart. Anywho, within 2 minutes he arrived with an associate to help me. I was more than surprised and thanked him several times. Unfortunately I do not remember his name. Old lady checking receipts at the door is completely rude and I witnessed her racially profiling customers as they were leaving. My boyfriend and I are caucasian, walked right passed and wasn't interrogated about our receipt as well as other white people. I saw her stop at least 5 african american families or individuals and read their receipt line for line. I will still shop here because it's close to my house, but i'll file a formal complaint if I see that crap again. read more

This is not for you if you value speed, efficiency, order, or indeed any of the things for which Wal-Mart is allegedly famous. The prime piece of evidence is that the store does not offer shopping baskets to carry. Your only choice is an enormous heavy cart to push. This may make sense if your main activity for the morning is pushing an enormous 48-pack of super-sized Dr. Pepper behind your motorized chair/scooter out to the aft compartment of your super-sized (Arlington-made!) Tahoe/Suburban aircraft carrier / SUV. It does not make sense if you want to walk quickly through the store and pick up some toothpaste and paper towels. I thought I'd offer feedback on the no-shopping-basket policy to the manager, but he/she took too long to show up at the service desk, so now I take the case to the Yelpers. I visited when the store was new-ish and was surprised by how clean and well-kept the store was. Well, that was before the people of Wal-mart (Google "people of wal-mart") got to it. Now it's disorganized, messy, junky, and chaotic. That's what Wal-Mart is supposed to be like. One brief visit is enough to confirm that it's a good idea not to go here if you value efficiency and order. Bottom line: no shopping baskets. read more

I swear I hate coming here, but this is the only place that sells the coffee creamer I like. It's Walmart, so there are usually long lines with not many lanes open. The one thing I can say is that I always find what I want and need in here. One thing I wish is that they sold liquor. The Walmart I shopped at in another state had a full liquor section....AWESOMENESS!!!!! So far the cashier's I've dealt with are always friendly, so I have no complaints about customer service.
