It is a zoo with no service, employees that are indifferent or with bad attitudes. It makes going to the post office seem like a trip to Neiman Marcus. Worst Walmart ever. If you need something, you're better off asking other shoppers where you can find things rather than the employees being paid to gossip and be on their phones all the time. Lines are extremely long. Place looks like a mess all the time, and restrooms look like portable restrooms. You try to contact their customer service number and always get answered by a rude employee, not greeted with a simple "thank you for calling Walmart, how can I help you". I hate coming hear! The employees are extremely rude and don't know the difference between a prepaid card and a gift card. They sold my fiancé a prepaid card when he asked for a visa giftcard as an anniversary gift for me. He didn't realize till he left the store that it charges an $8 fee when you activate it! When he tried to return it they refused. Deborah, was not even willing to work with us! I called corporate and they said to come back to the store and it would be taken care of. I've been waiting over 30 min for Dora to take care of this for us. I understand it's a loss to them, but it's their fault this happened. They should be educated about the cards before they sell them. Please train your employees better and teach them better customer service! I'm never coming back here once I get my money back.... Just stood in line for half an hour at midnight to buy one thing. A folding chair. Which I was prompted to put on the conveyor belt, like why? It's an item that takes up space that could be used by other customers buying their groceries and other items. But I do as I'm told. I get to the register to pay and the woman rudely tells me that she scanned the chair. Ok? I ask if I'm able to buy it because what else do you say to that statement? She replies back (again, rudely) that she scanned it. At this point I think she wants to know if I have other items I would like to purchase (like the chair took up a good portion of the conveyor belt so I thought that was maybe her thought process). I reply that the chair was the only thing I'm purchasing today and SHE ROLLS HER EYES AT ME AND SUCKS HER TEETH AT ME. Like what? I pay, grab the chair off the belt (that the woman just stared at me like I was stupid for not just scooping it off the conveyor belt with like two people standing so close behind me that I couldn't move), and get the fuck out of there after a 10 minute trip turned into a 45 minute excursion. Avoid this place at all costs. I'm surprised I didn't have to go all WWE and whack somebody with the chair because of all the sketchy people hanging out EVERYWHERE. Unorganized asf, people are as slow as a fucking snail, petty asf. They took 30 minutes to find the price of a mug. And it was "$10". When all souvenir mugs were $4.47. Nothing had the price on it. I would give a 0 star if i could. I dislike this wal mart, but this past sunday really angered me. Apparently serving tourists is more important than serving actual customers. On the Eagles game day, 6 hours before kickoff, they blocked off half of thier parking lot for the game. Why is this an issue? Most crowded and understaffed establishment in history. Period. It has never taken less than 35 minutes to get through a checkout line for me there and I've been quite a few times. Once it actually took 55 minutes. This is EVERY time of day/night and EVERY time of the year. Bring something to do in line if you have to go. Customers there are noticeably more rude and abrasive than any other Walmart I've been to. Maybe that's because there are so many people there all the time. It probably brings out the worst in crowds. Probably a very bad idea to bring children here for a plethora of reasons you can tell from my comment and others. Haven't met a nice employee there yet, unfortunately. I live very close to this store and shop here on occasion. The employees are very rude, and I get it if you are under paid and under appreciated it shows! It never fails I can go in there happy and come out pissed off. Other shoppers will try to run you over, get in front of you and walk soooo slowly , or just take up the whole isle. Employees never know where things are located, or are unwilling to help you. There are only 3 lanes to check out at any given time. It would be a great store if the employees had manners and knew their jobs. They need people from their corp. offfice to visit. Maybe then changes would be made. The other Walmart in Arlington is across I 20 in south Arlington, and if you do not live in south Arlington it is inconvenient to get to. read more

Wal Mart will always be the premier shopping center for large portion of America. They could never please everyone but they do a great job offering a wide selection of items that you would not have access to else where under one roof. I know I can go to Wal Mart for just about anything I need. The quality is not as good as other places but you get what you pay for. read more

Thank goodness I don't live close-by this Walmart anymore. Here's a tip for the people who live near this Walmart, you should shop at the neighborhood Walmart literally down the street, much better! This past weekend I attended the Demi Lovato charity concert at the AT&T Stadium. My friend and I got dropped off by someone and she left the tickets in the car with our ride. We ended up walking across the street to browse at Walmart and wait for the tickets to be dropped off. What I noticed right away upon walking up is that this Walmart is very very busy, there are lots of people coming in and out. People are walking around outside loitering outside also. The Walmart is nice, very nice i'll give it that. I have always loved the layout and presentation of the inside and outside the store itself. The layout and design is nothing compared to the other Walmart locations in Arlington. The downfall is that this one is in a unfavorable part of Arlington which turns this Walmart into a ghetto place to be. That's all I can think when I watch the people go in and out. Ghetto. I was telling my friend stories about shopping at this Walmart back in the day. I loved it but hated the ghetto-ness at the same time. Also I used to shop here at night and the parking lot is a scary. I want to rate 4 or 5 stars because of the location next to the stadium and the niceness of this store but I just cannot!!!!!!!!! I currently go to the Walmart in Grand Prairie which looks ugly but is not this ghetto.. sigh. Every time I go it's this early in the morning, and every time there are usually 5+ employees sitting out front occupying the carts meant for people with disabilities. You go inside to grab a cart for yourself, and there are absolutely none. Every single one of them are in the parking lot. Went in to get my tire fixed. Hour later still waiting as I watch the guy who suppose to be working on my car sending text messages and then he had to make a call. So, finally he puts the tire on and instead of backing my car out, he goes and gets something to eat! Finally when he brings the keys back to the checkout, the guy at checkout walks away! Most recently I was trying to exchange a housewares item and the associate wouldn't let me and said I had to g through the items distributor, not walmart. This is the worst Walmart I have ever been to! I went to the bakery and the 2 women wouldn't even acknowledge me. Finally after standing there several minutes and looking directly at them, they very condescendingly said "you need something?" l asked for them to special make a cake a small cake and that I needed it the next day at 5:00 for my daughters 4th birthday. It was 5:20 and they told me "NO". They said it had to be 24 hours. I told them I understood, but it was a very small cake and it was only a 20 minutes difference. Then they began shaking their heads and both said, we said "No". I asked again very nicely and explained we were from out of town visiting I had been driving around forever trying to find a Walmart and it was very small and only a 20 minute difference. They were extremely rude and acted as though they were inconvenienced by even being asked to do some work. So I said never mind. I went and got the rest of my items and decided to just get some pre-made cupcakes and put some Hello Kitty candy pieces I found on them. Then I hear one of them say "there's that stupid white girl who wouldn't take no for an answer, I can't believe she had the nerve to come back"! And they continued talking about me. I just got my cupcakes and walked off. The only reason I didn't report them was because I was in a hurry to meet my family for dinner. Shop at Risk of Prosecution!!!! I took my disabled Uncle shopping here about 4 months ago back around the Thanks Giving holiday and we went through the self check-out. He had 2 orders one with being paid with an EBT card and the second cash. He was wanting to be independent and ring up his own groceries. I watched him and he had issues with the machine and the self-checkout register was not working properly. It would beep when nothing was going across it and then not beep when you wanted it to. We had to constantly press down the scale to get the register to reset and read the next item. He got through the first list of groceries and when ringing up his second bill of groceries the register spit out 4 twenty dollar bills for no reason and of course he put them back in the machine. He had a total of 82 items between both bills of groceries and I was worried something had not gotten rang up and turned to the cashier on 2 occasions asking for help and she assured me everything was fine and not to worry about it. So sure enough as we are walking towards the exit the lost prevention step out of a door and ask him to follow them with his groceries. I explained that he was mentally disabled and that there was some serious issues with the machine. They kept him in there for over an hour to only find that 6 out of the 82 items had not been rang up. They were very cheep items like 2 small roma tomatoes and items not valuing more then 1-2 dollars each. They even had to refund him as they realized one item had been over charged. The assured us that he was not in any sort of trouble and they believed that there must have been an issue with the register. Then 2 months later in January we receive a ticket in the mail from the police where he had been charged with shoplifting. They had literally charged him with shoplifting after us asking 5 times " is everything OK?, and he is not being accused of stealing is he?" They assured us that he was not being accused of that and to go home not to worry about it. This is a racket that the lost prevention is doing to make sure they get payed. If the customer does not pay an attorney's office 300 dollars they have the police charge the person some 2-3 months after the day of visit. I am not sure how that is even legal. read more

i used the optometrist and vision center at this store. my insurance covered the charge for all but $30 for bifocials and distance vision. but, i cannot read out of the bifocials at all. the opt. would not make this right. she does not need to be in practice. i cannot use my vision ins. for 2 years. do not go there please. read more
