Went here for oil change, it was fast and affordable. The staff was really nice and courteous. I've also ordered pick up at this location and it was good. It is a larger than usual Walmart with lots of services and a garden center. The interior is not as clean/ well kept, something that needs to improve. Overall the staff is great, it is easy to process returns/claims as they are adequately staffed. There is a huge variety of items stocked at this location at all times. It isn't the best experience but not worse either. It is advisable to visit the store early in the morning or in the afternoon. It gets extremely busy after that and there are carts floating around the parking lot making it unsafe. read more

Walmart could improve its Automotive Service by keeping its word. My daughter dropped off her car for a new set of tires. She was advised that the wait time would be two hours. Four and a half hours later, still no new tires. It took them over seven hours to install a set of tires--seven hours. If it wasn't an emergency, Lord knows she would have gone somewhere else. read more

Oh Walmart. I always return because we know you've got the goods and usually at better prices than those at my favorite bullseye paradise. This location in particular is one I pop into on occasion, but not necessarily my top preference. The store itself is great and huge as hell, per Walmart trends. And this one is laid out so well and incredibly clean inside. They offer a grocery area, auto section but I feel like I haven't noticed a garden section. (Realizing that as I write this review!) There's also a Subway, nail salon and a Claire's inside. When did Walmart start getting Claire's pop-ups?!! My childhood omg. This location is always filled with customers in all sections of the store, including those pop-ups. As with all Walmart locations, they have 3,500 registers and 2 employees working lol. But the employees always seem to be quite nice and patient at this location so that's always so appreciated. Now, to my dilemma here. I'm a curbside pickup girly. I got spoiled with my bullseye friends and how amazing their pickup process is, but I need to be realistic in the future lol. The pickup process here really makes a girl want to get her lazy self out of the car and shop for myself lol. Major first world problems, I know. But I've waited up to 30min for an order before and it's become the norm there. Convenience options are great!... but only when they stay convenient lol. This Walmart is the closest to my home so I visit once or twice a month. It's been going through a renovation so items have been moved around in the most annoying way. I don't know what the renovation is supposed to accomplish because it feels like business as usual - i.e. hit or miss on everything. The store itself is usually neat and decently stocked. I rarely have a problem finding something I need. If I don't see it, I assume it's not in stock. The associates are typical Walmart - some are helpful and some are not. And may God help you if that person doesn't want to be helpful. Overt displays of "Why are you bothering me?!" are not unusual. If you get a helpful person, they are usually nice about it. Long lines have always been an issue here. But the last few months of 2020 they have gotten worse. Only 4-5 lanes will be open (out of 26). And each line will be at least 7 people deep (if you're lucky). No one monitors these lines so you have to be super patient. People have forgotten how to form lines so they curve all over so that you can't see where the end is. I'm thinking that I may need to get a part-time job here because they definitely need the help. On 6/25/24 I ordered a grill from Walmart. On 6/26/24, I was informed that the grill was to be delivered at 4:43 pm; it never was delivered. After inquiring about the grill, I received an email on 7/1/24 saying that the order for the grill was cancelled and I would receive my refund in ten (10) working days. Why??? The money was deducted from my account and the grill was not delivered; the money should have been refunded as soon as they realized the grill was not delivered. I am very disappointed with the way this was handled; not only did I not have a grill for the 4th of July, I am still waiting for my refund as I type this!!! read more

I have a Wal-Mart+ delivery account for the past two years And have groceries delivered to my downtown address every two weeks and each delivery experience is a NIGHTMARE to say the least from items missing from my order to my order being delivered late . The drivers do not follow the delivery instructions which are very detailed to aid in the simplicity of the delivery. I can easily see why the company is having troubles with employee morale and retention and food quality and the delivery process if you are able to avoid Walmart please do so I am definitely searching for a better option... I actually made a trip to this particular supercenter this past weekend and it was in line with the poor delivery experiences employees were rude uncooperative. I came to get paint and couldn't find anyone in the area, I was told by an associate that he believe the paint mixer was down(side eye) but he went ahead and helped me look up already mixed paint. I loathe this Walmart. I do not like Walmart shopping and had experience as a Kmart employee years ago so I kinda get how McDonalds meets Kmart = Walmart became a phenomenon. However, my challenge is with their pharmacy. I can compare it to Target. Target pharmacies are always professional. Went here on a Thursday night because I wanted to check out their laptop/chrome book selections. I found one that I wanted and took a pic of the item and proceeded to the register, where there was a decent sized line. Their online stock said they had a few in stock. When I got to the register the woman took down the product number and went to the locked cages to find the item. She pulled out one or two and said they were out of stock and didn't have any. Came here to see if they carry a back pack for toddlers but discovered they only have it online. Amidst my visit we also found out some of the hand sanitizer we had been using for the past 3 months had been recalled by the FDA because it contained methanol which is cancer causing. I looked for isopropyl alcohol, one of the main ingredients for making your own hand sanitizer but it was all cleared out. This store is huge and looked like it had a great produce section. Came here to shop for some things I needed, and Aja was amazing she was very nice and she asked me how i was doing and she made my day, and i wanted to take the time to say thank you to her and the management for hiring her, she is an amazing women and i really appreciated her kindness and towards me. I needed to exchange some curtains and curtain rods because I bought the wrong size/color. When I walked in the door I was asked if I had a receipt and I said no, the lady gave me a sticker and I proceeded to customer service. Once it was my turn at the counter, she asked if I had my receipt and I said "no, the lady gave me this sticker at the door." The cashier then proceeds to tell me, she can't do a refund without a receipt over $50. I told her this was well over $50 and she proceeded to say I can talk to a manager. The manger comes out, and we go through the whole scenario again. I've never heard of a store not returning items that were bought from their store!!!! I wasn't even trying to get money back I literally just needed to exchange the items. The employees are ridiculously careless and unconcerned with helping people. So I go to the electronics department around 9:30pm. No one is there. Men passing with pallet jacks said they would let a manager know me and several others needed help. I wait 2 minutes then go find someone myself. So she walks with me and there was a note on the phone stating the employee was on break. So she flags down another employee who just walks by stating the department is closed. AT 9:30 and they don't close until 11. So me not taking no for an answer I want to customer service and ask if a manager has a key to unlock a case in electronics. Two employees just sit there with bored expressions, one acknowledges me and the other keeps her back turned. The one who acknowledged me stated the front manager doesn't have a key to the electronics department. I'm sooo done With this place. The carelessness. No apology, no direction and no fucks to give. They already are ALWAYS short handed with only two-four lanes open, no self checkout lanes and whatever they say they have online don't be where the app says it is. read more

Oh my gawd this Wal-Mart is gawd-awful at planning checkout lanes. Why do they put 300 lanes in if they only plan on opening 4?? (a common complaint - read the others reviews) And fair warning - with nearly 100% accuracy you will end up behind someone paying with EBT or who has filled their buggy up (if not TWO buggies) with no regard to how much they are spending. I have literally watched an entire shopping cart get refilled as they remove items from the bill. No shit. Don't get me wrong, we shop here for the same reason as everyone else: MAD DEALS. And while this store is typically clean they are regularly out of stock on items, shelves are a hot mess, or they have mislabeled or unlabeled products so you can't tell what they cost. I'm here because i care what it costs, Wal-Mart. Recognize. Are these the $1.00 eggs or the $4.00 eggs? I need to know! Surprisingly, I'd recommend this Wal-mart to the others nearby (Howell Mill and Memorial at Columbia) because it's larger and somehow, despite the EBT prominence, less thuggy. I usually end up at this Walmart out of desperation. And, I don't say that to be negative...only because I typically shop elsewhere. So, I find myself driving to this location as an afterthought and never intentionally. Case in point, today I forgot to pick up some staple groceries and just needed a few items. I was literally right off the Gresham Rd exit and stopped in. The great thing is that the location is super close to the highway. The less than great thing is that they can use a good deep cleaning in the store and more frequent re-stocking of basic items. From a Fresh Market perspective, if you need packaged items, you'll probably be fine. Although I did see a couple of expired items on the shelf. However, the fresh stuff leaves "quite a bit to be desired". Also, I would like to think I'm getting super good value by shopping here, but that wasn't quite the case. Their prices are higher than I would have liked for the overall quality of items. The usual Walmart, non-food fare is decent at this store I suppose. However, if you have options...perhaps try somewhere else. read more

Boy was I glad that I followed my right mind and went to the Walmart to get a cupcake carrier. I went to Target to get one and it was $18, went to Party City to get one and it was $20. Went to good ole Wally's world and found one for $4.98. Get this...it was the same one Party City was selling for $20. It was Memorial Day weekend so the check out lines were OFF THE CHAIN. The lady that was working the jewelry counter told me to step over there and she would ring up my purchase. My entire trip in Walmart took less than 10 minutes. It's Wal-Mart. I don't expect much. But this place was skrate urp NASTY! Look at the pictures I uploaded of the bathroom in the back... I witnessed at least half a dozen indifferent employees go in and out of this same restroom while I was waiting (forever) to pick up an online order. Blood, urine, CRAP all over the toilets, one soap dispenser refill was laying out, gutted, leaking everywhere, there was toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage all over, everywhere. Disgusting. The appearance of the store itself was just about as trashy, not very many associates working, most I spotted were on cellphones and trying not to make eye contact with you. WALMART!! I hope someone somewhere will be able to help me make sense of a visit I just had with you. I have been receiving e-gift cards to use during this pandemic so I would not have to use the machines at the counters. I unfortunately deal with stage 4 cancer, so health safety is important to ME. On the first occasion I tried to use the card, my caregiver (adult daughter) and I, were instructed to go to customer service to have the gentleman there help( I'm assuming a manager) never introduced himself. We were told then that the e-card had to be transferred to a Walmart card.Per the manager of the store, as we were told. This didn't make sense, but I knew I would be calling the Corp office to confirm this information, so as stupid as it sounded we went ahead and did that. Paid for the items and left. Called corporate and as I suspected, that was NOT the proper protocol for an e-card. So when I received another e-card we went to get a few items. Get to the cashier and she immediately says we were told not to take e-cards. Whaaaaat?!? Okay, she steps to get the manager. You can only guess who?! Yep , that wonderful young man who was less than hospitable the first doggone time. He stomps the yard to the register and informed us once again, we had to put the money on the card. I was so confused, and asked more than once for clarification ( I know, a full Karen moment) but for the love of Pete... who knows how these cards work‍. When my daughter also questioned this young man, he was flip pit, rude and dismissive. He referred to her as "sweetie"No sir! Condescending behavior is not okay! He became angry enough with us he brought another manager over to help. Thank goodness for this gentleman. He tried to fix what the other manager had tried and couldn't. (This outcome, was exactly what the person at customer service said would happen) The manager was polite, understood our frustration, and used his higher thinking skills to rectify the problem. Thank you SIR. I asked if I should ask the senders of these e-cards not to give them to me, and the first manager replied, yes. So I will be telling Emory that maybe doing business with you all is a mistake. One last thing. The first young man had the audacity to have two bands on his arm touting a very prestigious fraternity. You should be ashamed. Former Worker at this store. Where do I start how about the management they are completely unqualified and extremely unprofessional when it comes to dealing with issues in the workplace. Simple issues as working free keeping the store clean zone and aisles etc. they just completely ignore it and act as if it doesn't exist. There were times where I would notice glass on the floor and other liquids I'll address it to team leaders or coaches (managers) it'll take them 30-40 minutes to locate stationary workers to clean it up. Are used to work in the OGP department and that department is absolutely embarrassing. I worked OGP at a different store and my manager and department managers made sure that we kept our department up to par and our customer satisfied. At this store it's absolutely ridiculous how many meetings we have a week about the same issues. Every meat and we would discuss how workers are hiding in the back room and behind corners playing on their phones not looking for items that customers have ordered and just slacking off during work. Our coaches said they will take care of these issues yet they never did they continue to do it. I can only count maybe two or three coworkers who actually try to keep the department together and work way beyond their pay. Now let's discuss the team leads. The team leads are supposed to look over normal associates to make sure they are continuously working doing things correct and also assisting in stocking and or dispensing depending on their department. Unfortunately they be slacking just as much as the regular associates so no wonder the associates never work with any purpose or just to get the job done that they are being paid to do. You will walk in the back room catch team leads talking about relationship issues or sporting events their kids are going to or vacations they want to go to or just gossip that they've seen in the news. The store looks absolutely horrible there's barely any merchandise on the shelves but there so much freight in the backroom. So if you order an item online and go to pick it up and it says item not found nine times out of 10 it's probably in the back room just stuff somewhere in a corner that everyone is just too lazy to look for. You go into the store anytime in the day I guarantee you 30 bucks you're fine merchandise just sitting on the floor still in the packaging you'll find glass somewhere on the ground some spill bleed or water somewhere they don't care. Finally let's discuss the normal associate once again like I previously mention how can you blame them for being so lackluster at work when they look at their coaches and team leads do the exact same thing and that's NOTHING. It's been numerous times where my wife has ordered from the online pick up section and we get home we don't even have half of the items that we've ordered yet we were charged we were also notice sometimes we will have orders that belong to completely different people so then will have to drive another 20 minutes back to the store show them the items that we don't have if they answer the phone after we sat in the parking lot for 10-15 minutes calling the same number and they're just ignoring it. Trust me I know they're ignoring it I've worked this department before at this store and I've seen them talk about girls in the store or guys in the store or something they saw on television why the phone is ringing which is customers outside waiting to get their stuff. Honestly I believe the best change for the store is to get new management get a store manager in an assistant store manager who truly cares about the performance of the store because everyone else will follow if people see that their store manager is barely even at the store and their assistant store manager is running around trying to look cool to other associates instead of actually getting stuff done then guess what that's exactly what the rest of the employees are going to do. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone just save yourself the headache and go to Publix or Kroger. read more

Every item I have brought back to this location there is always some unwritten rule. I bout a sd card five days ago it's now supported by my work cam I bring it in yesterday they told me I need the package I come back this morning and now the don't return sd cards. Honestly I'm done shopping at Walmart locations in general.
