Now that there is, this one is fantastic for anything you're looking for! In particular, they have a really good produce section. Some of the biggest onions and yellowest bananas that I've ever seen! The aisles with snacks, chips, meat, beverage, dairy, and toiletries are full too (the usual things you run out of while you're up here).

They often charge more for larger quantity items per ounce or pound, expecting that consumers will not look at the price per unit and another trick is to vary the price per unit by using different units of measure, making it more difficult to compute which is the better deal. If they mix liters, quarts, ccs and ounces in a liquid such as soft drinks, it is not customer friendly. I know other do these same techniques as well, but I started shopping Meijer in the early 70s and expected more of them.

Their prices staff, no matter the department are always helpful and YES even the young ones. My jacket fell off the back of the scooter one late night just before closing, and 3 staff searched for it after closing. The biggest drawback is the reliance on self checkout. Before Easter I went to look for Spring decorations. Although I didn't have any luck finding anything, I did find some cute stuff in the pet area. This is a good place to find dog toys for sure, the prices seem to be alot better than going to a pet store. Probably even better over Meijer. Last trip in, my daughter even found a big dog puzzle that was way cheaper than going to Meijer. So it's worth a look here when it comes to your dog. They have cat things too. The one thing on my trips here I do always look at is the various coffees they have by the checkout. My family are huge coffee drinkers, and k cups/ground coffee can get very expensive. Especially with the inflation that has hit over the past few years. Not giving up coffee, so had to find a way to get it more affordable! There is usually a good selection so I come here to have a look when I'm running low before getting elsewhere. There is usually a lot of stronger coffees, but occasionally you can get something with flavors. Thank you Marshall's for having a selection of everything in your stores-including coffee! This is the place to visit in Frankenmuth if you're looking for an unusual gift or something to take home to remember your trip to this Bavarian town. Rau's has pretty much every souvenir with every name on shot glasses, pocket knives, keychains and the like. If you have a typical name, you will find a magnet with your name at Rau's. This shop also has a lot of old-fashioned candy, which you can scoop out and put into bags. You'll also find some local artwork for sale here, as well as lots of local Michigan products.
