I used to come here all the time but I haven't since I moved. I was looking at clothes in the baby section because I'm a soon to be mom! The Walmart app said that this location has some newborn pants that I was looking for. I spent 20 minutes looking for them. Luckily, I was able to find the last newborn pair. The baby clothes section wasn't as clean as I thought it would be but I'm just happy that I was able to find what I was looking for. I also went to the hat section because I love my fedoras that I got from Walmart a while back and I wanted to see if they had any new colors. They did but the price on the tag was $4 more than the price that was shown. Which isn't that much of a difference but I would be upset if it came up for the more expensive price. I scanned the tag on my app and the price on the tag itself was wrong. Luckily, it came up at self checkout for that price so I didn't have any issues. read more

My husband and sons stop at this Walmart after a long day at the track on 6/12/21@ 22:25:30 TC#5321370059803992179, OP#007449,TE#52,TR04134. We stopped for some beers. When it came down to paying there wasn't any cashiers open ONLY self checkout so my husband asked if someone can ring him up since he was purchasing alcohol (calif. policy) The employee he asked got bothered and when employee Bryce walked to cashier he asked the customer behind my husband if he was ready to pay and helped them Instead. When my husband asked employee Bryce why did he helped the other customer first if he was first. Right away Bryce answered, I can refuse service to you! My husband and sons were shocked of his unprofessional behavior towards customers. When they didn't say anything wrong. He only question his behavior. Absolutely horrible. Normally when i come in there are at least 4 working self check outs but today there is 1. ONE working self check out. They have a line of customers going into the frozen foods and not one but TWO employees standing here staring at customers rather than getting on a register and forget using the restroom here there is usually no toilet paper OR shit splattered on the toilets (woman's restroom). Oh and if you want to purchase alcohol now you have to go through the normal register (never had that issue at other Walmarts i usually go through self check) and 9 times out of 10 there is ONE register open which is pathetic. At this point I'd rather spend the extra money to purchase my items at better ran stores. read more

I called over the customer service person and she told me the only way to adjust it was for me to go take a photo of the UPC code (at the back of the store). I'm in Walmart right now. Trying to buy a bottle of alcohol. It is locked up. There is a service button and another customer was waiting. She said she had been waiting for a long time and when she went to find a customer service rep, they said to just keep pushing the button. After a few minutes I went and searched for another worker. They said they would find someone. After about another 10 minutes I went in search and found four more people. And still no one came to help us. Finally I went to the front and talk to a girl she said she was a manager her name was Maggie. I told her that we were waiting for 15 minutes. She said someone would come over there, I asked her to accompany me to make sure it happened. She actually said ' i'm busy doing something else' this point I told her I didn't care, and that it would be good customer service to make sure we got what we needed. I didn't leave her and finally she started following me when she identified person they could help us. What horrible service. What horrible neglect. INCIDENT 1: Came in right when they opened to purchase a feminine product LOCKED UP. Even though there were workers around me, none asked if I needed help knowing I've pressed the samn assistance button. I had to ask them for help only for them to say, "let me find a person with a key." Another 10 minutes. Then apparently, I had to be walked to the damn counter to purchase it and the counter was empty. Asked if I can just self-checkout and she said it had to be rung up. Another 10 minutes before the cashier popped out of the customer service area. And this cashier was so rude. No apology for the wait, she just rang me up with her grumpy ass face. I should have walked my ass to self check out. INCIDENT 2: Went to return something that came in a huge box and the security just watched us walk it in at 7 am and when we get to the service center rude one armed lady grumbled, "were not open". We had to ask what time they open and she mumbled 8 am. So when we came back at 8 am all of a sudden the security guard is all like, "you have a return?" Like yeah asshole you saw us an hour ago and could have stopped us to tell us it was closed til 8. read more

Walmart is going completely to crap. Sunday afternoon, Nov 6, 2022. The store is busy. The store is also a total mess. Merchandise seems to be everywhere; except on the shelf. The grocery dept is very low on stock. Meats and dairy inventory very lean. But the worst is checkout. Walmart seems determined to force shoppers into self checkout. Only 3 or 4 registers serving customers. Self checkout lines 15 customers deep, registers the same. What a joke. Bought a couple of sodas. One cooler listed price as $2.08, the other listed at $1.98. When I checked out the sides were $2.18. No telling what other prices are mid-market. I'm pretty much done shopping Walmart stores (which may be what they want). Service sucks and workers are indifferent or down right rude. read more

They count points up against workers for their own wrong doings and tell them it's ok it's not their fault and to not worry to take those points and fire them without a notice. They do not give their workers the correct materials they need to work and managers will not answer texts when asked for needed work devices. I'm not sure why I've never reviewed Walmart, but thought this would be a good opportunity to do so. Overall, I'm not a fan. Today when I went in to buy some OTC medicine, I had to ring a little bell by pressing a button. It took several times to get someone to respond. After the young man came, he explained to me that he would have to take it to the register for me. Wait. What? That's right, he would need to walk it over because apparently I'm not adult looking. I have gray hair and a job. I understand that they may have issues with theft and stuff like that, but it was antacid... really??? Anyway, I am still rating them a 2 instead of a 1 because of what happened next. I went to the only register that had a live person in it and looked at the line and felt upset. There were about 15 people in line ahead of me and apparently they all suffered from acid reflux too because they all were waiting. Some had carts full. I had milk, creamer and my little bottle of heartburn pills that I needed. I asked a worker passing by if he could get me a manager. He did quickly. I appreciated that. I asked the manager if this was really necessary and she said yes. Then she went and grabbed my bottle and walked me over to an empty self serve and helped me get out quicker. I was happy that she was able to come up with a solution to help me get out of waiting in that line forever. I feel bad that the other people had to wait though. read more

Worst grocery store! Dirty and out of stock on many items. With a full cart, there were NO checkers. Not one. I asked the customer service lady who said to "just use self service or just leave your cart here." We waited in line to use the self service and every few items required an employees approval (for items like candy). We purchased no alcohol. While we waited for approvals we watched the approval employee arguing with other customers (even watched her scream at three customers during our visit). Went back to customer service and was told all the checkers were at lunch at the same time because "they have the right to have their lunch when they choose to." I was again invited to "just leave your cart" if you don't like it. We ultimately wasted over 1.5 hours there for nothing. We went to Winco, 1 mile down Coffee Road and were pleased with our experience there. The Rosedale Hwy manager should be fired along with all upper management. read more

It's a Walmart. It carries most items you'd expect to find in a department store but at cheaper prices. Admittedly, the items you get are not as high quality or fashion forward as a department store, but they get a bonus for convenience. I must be honest, before this store recently underwent a major renovation to add significantly to their grocery items I was not a big fan. I don't know why, but the clientele that shops at this Walmart is significantly different than the clientele that shops at the Target just one block away on Rosedale. Many of the people who shop at Walmart do not do a good job supervising their children while in the store compared to those who shop at Target. In the past, this store was not always kept clean, and very often the merchandise was stocked messily. They seem to have been doing much better in the last six months, so I don't know if the management has changed, or if the workers are just being better trained. Honestly, the main reason I shopped at Walmart is that it is open much earlier in the morning than Target. As a teacher who has been known to forget things and have to pick them up on the way to school Walmart is really my only option. I also give the props on the fact the women's restroom at Walmart is usually cleaner than the restrooms at Walmart. Big bonus - I discovered today that Walmart has free wifi for customers to us. Beat that! Well, okay, Target does have a Starbucks and Walmart has a McDonalds (barf) but you can't have everything. read more

I was overcharged as the scales just randomly chose a weight beige I placed the items on the scale. Super shady. Removed the item and tried to redo it and it said a 4oz zucchini was 1.4 pounds! WTF. It also overcharged me for several other items. There was only one staff person working there and she kept taking off. Other people had problems with the self check outs as well. I bought a mini fridge online. I took it out of the box and threw away the box because I thought I was going to keep it. After 2 days, the fridge just kept staying warm and it would not be cold at all. I decided that I would return the fridge. I go to customer service and there are 2 employees at the front. I walk up and she saids I can't do the return without a box. She calls up Lisa, whoever Lisa is. She tells me that we can not accept the return with the original box because she needs to make sure that the serial number on the fridge is the same one on the box. Basically saying that I stole the fridge and needs to make sure its the correct one. How the hell am I suppose to know that I need the original box. I tell her I don't have the box. She ask me if I have the receipt. I show her my phone and they go through my phone. Damm Lisa doesn't even give me back my phone. She just leaves it on the counter. So I have to go and pick it up. Stupid bi**h. She finally comes back after several minutes telling me that her boss said no also. She tells me that maybe I can go to another Walmart to see if they will take my return. I never post negative reviews, but I was really disappointed in my shopping experience today. I understand that shoplifters make everyone else pay for their horrible actions. I have worked in retail for many years. Today I went to Walmart to stock up on makeup that I ran out of, and nearly 75% of the makeup was locked up. This was new, but no worries. I knew exactly what I wanted and it was in stock. The issue was that there was no one available to assist with getting these items. I waited alongside four other customers needing assistance, but no one was at the register. My mom flagged down an employee, who said no one had the keys to open the locked doors. After awhile we got so frustrated we left. If the makeup needs to be locked up in order to protect the sales, you would think they could hire at least one employee to be around to assist every customer that needs to shop in that department. read more

I am here about 2-3 times a month. I've never had a bad experience until today when they refused my baby formula coupons. The store is always clean and organized. I always like pursuing the seasonal aisles for cheap decorations for whatever holiday is coming up. The prices are what keep me coming back! There is a huge lack of customer service though. My interaction today was so embarrassing! The cashier (who was sweet and calm) called a manager over to check the coupons. She apologized and said she had never had these and just needed to check. With a smile and full of respect, I said, "No worries. I completely understand. I've never had an issue with them before." Whoever she had called over did not like this response and full of attitude told me "ma'am, we have never accepted these before so I have to check them thoroughly to see if we even take them. I don't even know what they are." I asked to speak with someone higher than her who could provide me customer service and she stated every single manager was in a meeting with their radios off and can't be disturbed for any reason. So you can guess the rest of our interaction. I had them suspend my transaction and I waited until their managers got out of a meeting. I immediately called corporate who also tried to get ahold of a manager and were told the same thing by the store: no one was available due to this meeting. In the end, I'll keep coming back. It was one sour check out experience, but Walmart is Walmart! read more

Walmart is always a low price leader for everything we purchase for our RV, toiletries, paper towels, groceries and electronics. I have to give this place a higher rating than the average because it is aillion times cleaner than the old Wal-Mart. This newly remodeled Wal-Mart has a grocery store in it and there produce is better than the average grocery store. The clothing section is picked up regularly so you can actually find somewhat of what you are looking for. We usually shop at Target but when we do shop at Wal-Mart we can find what we want at a reasonable price & Wal-Mart doesn't have the gimmicky gift card scam that Target gets away with. read more

On the way into Walmart this evening, I found a quarter on the ground and picked it up... But after I got the free "white guy pass" in the "we think you stole something" exit line, the well dressed Latino man of similar age, was practically strip searched, (and before anyone says, 'That's because you were at the Bakersfield store', let me stop you right there. It happens at every Walmart, every time, because Walmart doesn't think middle-aged white men steal things) I went out to my coach in the parking lot and started putting the $154 of groceries away, and in the 15-20 minutes that took me, security guards came banging on my door, not once, but twice, to tell me I couldn't park here for the night. Really? Now I know Sam Walton is at least 100 by now, and he's probably pushed his teacup right off it's saucer, but Sammy boy, don't flatter yourself. I'd rather spend a night in jail, than in the parking lot of one of your shit-hole stores. And just to make sure we're perfectly clear on this. Not all middle aged white men with motorhomes want to spend the night in your parking lot, and not all middle aged Mexican men steal things from your stores.
