I drive a 18 wheeler over the road, I ran out of my Bp & cholesterol meds a few days ago. Had my doctor call in a prescription to a pharmacy, and then couldn't find any pharmacy that had 18 wheeler parking. So i had my doc change my prescription to Wal-mart, because I can find them everywhere. Stopped in Bolingbrook, Ill for my delivery, then parked my truck at the truck stop and called a cab to take me to the Bolingbrook store !! I want to tell Wal-mart that The Pharmacist and Tom the assistant figured out how to get my prescription transferred from Michigan to here. The were VERY helpful VERY friendly and understood my dilemma and helped me get my meds in a timely matter. Then i walked the store and found VERY friendly personnel re-stocking the shelves, some isles are empty of workers, so you just have to walk a bit to find some one to help you. Everyone in that store was in a good mood and acted very friendly and proffessional. I believe that some of the "bad" reviews actually happened BUT I also believe that if you go in with a bad attitude, that's all you are gonna find. I believe that it is unfair to give a bad review because of 1 bad apple, NOT all the workers in this store can be as bad as 1. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !! read more

This is one of the cleaner wal-marts in the western suburbs, but it is always packed.

It is impossible to get anything from any closed cabinets. Doesn't matter how long you wait or how many times you ask, everybody keeps telling they'll page someone and run away. read more

Needed a beauty product that was locked up, took me forever to find someone to unlock it; I finally found someone and she told me that she would have to take it to the front register and she did not. This is probably the worst Wal-Mart I've been too. I used to go grocery shopping at this Wal-Mart because it was convenient and close to home. But after the lady outside the liquor department told me I couldn't get alcohol with my younger brother, I will not be shopping there anymore. read more

This Wal-Mart is closest to me , the greeters are some long time staff are nice, but the management is horrible! I had such a negative experience with an over- weight black manager that was there over the father day weekend ( Sunday) he was extremely rude and so nasty , after a discussion over a grill that was the last one on the floor. He literally walked away. He was arrogant, almost as if it was his last day at work and didn't give a damn. I called the customer service number and they assured me that someone would call me back ( never happend ) . I will continue to shop at Wal-Mart for its great prices, but I rather drive 15 more minutes to the one on Lockport il. They have such friendly and helpful staff, I ended up going there after my dispute with the manager in the bolingbrook store and found a better grill . read more

This is by and large the absolute worst of the worst wallmart in the history of wallmarts. We bought a thing of sour cream that had been expired over a year not to mention the entire store is totally disgustingly dirty and have only ever seen one register open people with full carts using the express self checkouts and horrendous staff read more

Good luck finding a cart without a problem. There are very few lanes open to check out. Many of the employees are flat out rude. This store needs to pay more attention to the customers and the what a consumer goes through shopping at this walmart. It's pitiful. read more

Best value, discount, products, appliances, groceries and snacks. What I really like is that they a Dunkin Donut and Redbox on the inside. Staff always courteous and friendly and the store is always clean and organized. You can always find a great park. read more

This is a super Walmart store, but I'd use "super" loosely. It is very big and On the cleaner side compared to some Walmart stores. My only issue with this store is that the sales tax is so high. the sales tax is over 11%. So if I have a choice I try to skip going to this store if at all possible. read more

Customer service desk and Walmart.com site to store pickup are in same area. There are 2 different desks but one line. The site to store pickup desk had no one there and they made us wait in the customer service line for site to store pickup. Defeat the purpose of ordering on line. Would have been faster to get the items and check out. Would not use site to store at this Walmart again. read more

If you want inferior quality and poor customer service this is the place for you! Bought a new pair of glasses. Wi th in 1 month, a lens fell out and was lost. When i bought the flasses was told there was 1 year warranty. .all the woman would focus on was the lens was in the glasses when i pixked them up and the rx for the lense had expired. Obviously there was a problem with the quality of the glasses or the lense woyld not gave fallen out.. It made mo difference about the rx. A good gesture would have been to offer an eye exam..or to auggest i get one and then to have the lost lens replaced..but no...to baf, rx expired..not her problem. First of all, the gals/guys at customer service are usually very polite and respectful. The service is slow though compared to the competition and when I see a long line at customer service, I keep walking. As for ship to store, the items that I order are not available at any store, so I have to order them online. I get that notification that it's ready for pickup, GREAT! Not really. I come prepared and bring up my email with the zebra/barcode and scan it at the check-in near customer service. Then I wait and wait and wait. Meanwhile, I see MANY employees going back and forth near customer service, not doing much, it would seem. FINALLY, a different employee appears (an employee that usually has to come from the depths of the store, clear on the other side in the back). This is true of every store and only once in all the orders I picked up was there an employee standing right there ready for me. Why give only one person the job of doing God knows what and also be the only one to handle online pick-ups? They really need to cross-train more employees to do this because apparently, the peeps at CS can't do it. Wrong department. Dumb business model. Next, I tried to buy some water in two of their vending machines, both were out of water and one of them kept my money. There didn't appear to be lights that would inform you of stock status. Only after you put your money in do you find out the bad news. I had to go to customer service and they gave me my 50 cents back. FIX and STOCK your machines please. read more

This Walmart in Bolingbrook, is not only under construction and has bad parking, they also deny service. I was denied service because the back of a credit card was not signed. I quickly got the cardholder on the phone to verify and they still refused my service with an ID. I went to a Walmart closer to my house later on that night, and purchased all the same items no problem. They lost my business and a $159 dollar sale. read more

This particular Walmart always looks like it's up for grabs. Everything is disorganized, misplaced items on shelves, unattended children running around everywhere, and the usual assortment of weirdoes shopping there. Hard to find help (not all Walmarts I've been to are like this -- some of them actually have very helpful and friendly associates). At least there's security personnel and cameras in the parking lot -- yes, it really is needed. read more

Ugh! The employees here are horrible and the customers who shop here are rude. I always leave here frustrated. And one time I was shopping here and as I was checking out my son who is autistic started having a meltdown. The cashier was helpless with bagging my items so I was rushing to get everything bagged so I could just get out of there. The cashier handed me my receipts and I quickly just threw it in one of my grocery bags. (Keep in mind my ASD child is having a meltdown during this entire time) as I was heading out the door this old lady stops me and asks to see my receipt. I explained to her it's in one of the bags I'm not sure which one. And she pointed at the box of diapers at the bottom of my cart and said "I need proof you purchased that". Very annoyed at this point I was rummaging through all my grocery bags and told her "I did not steal it, ask the cashier who just ring me up" and she said "it's store policy". As I was emptying each bag out of the grocery cart and my son was in mid meltdown this woman decides to ask me if I'd like to donate to the children's hospital! I always donate to organizations like these but given the situation and her timing of questioning I told her no. I finally found the receipts and then she looked at it handed it back and told me to have a nice day as if she didn't understand what I was going through at that moment. why doesn't yelp have zero stars?? this place doesn't deserve a star!!! I'm so tired of going to Walmart and dealing with people who seem to hate there job and life! Its just not the bolingbrook location its ALL OF THEM! I do hate this location though. However, every time i go there its at least 15-20 minute wait in line and pay for your stuff. Its ridiculous. Why do i keep going? I don't fucking know to be honest....the prices maybe? I don't know but i'm def writing to the store manager about this issue. It hasn't happened once or twice, its a dozen times. When i go into Walmart i prepare myself by taking a deep breathe and telling myself be patient its almost over. The employees don't know a single thing, literally they are just like stick figures. It's hard to describe my experience at this store. It all started on a dull, rainy day in this shitty town called Bolingbrook. I was on the hunt for a battery that I needed for a phone. I walked into this store expecting crappy, minimum wage customer service. And boy, they did not disappoint. While waiting at the CS desk, a strong odor started irritating my nose. I don't wtf that was but if I had to describe it, I would say it smelled something like opening up a old grandpa's ass cheeks and sticking your nose in the crack. I almost fainted. After getting my composure back, I overheard this fat lady arguing with the cashier about returning some panties. I decided to play words with friends while waiting on the fat skank. And then it happened... I heard a loud boom and it startled me deeply. The fat bich arguing with the cashier let out an epic fart that probably set off a few car alarms in the parking lot. She promptly turned around and announced "excuse me" to the the guy behind her. That was it. I knew for sure that if I stayed another 30 seconds, I might be leaving in an ambulance. That shit was disgusting. Minus 1 star for the fat hobbit. Minus 1 star for the manager that walked by during this incident and not escorting the lady out the store. Minus 1 star for keeping the store open after she farted. If I was the manager, I would have purposely pulled the fire alarm and evacuated the whole vicinity. And minus 1 star for the manager not calling the police on her. I will never shop at Walmart again. I might actually never go out to shop again. Technical foul on Walmart. read more

This is the worst Walmart I've ever been too!!!!! I don't even care that the cashiers have no personalities. It's the wait times that are a joke! Expect to wait 10 minutes to buy a couple items. I had enough time to make a yelp account and write this review IN LINE. Is there even a manager that runs this place? After 9/10pm the whole town usually shops here and the lines are extremely long. There are only 1 or 2 lanes open. OPEN up self check-out!!!!!!!!!! There are people without their 6 kids that want to get in and out quick. What a dump of a store. You won't get customer service here. The Site to Store desk is NEVER staffed. Customer service desk has long lines and often just one associate working. Last nite the self checkout had only ONE open and working register. How crazy is that? They don't give a hoot about long lines. The shelves are picked clean in the grocery section. Management for this store should all be fired. This has become a ghetto store. Try another town you you have to go to a Walmart, this one is AWFUL. A better idea is to go to Meijers. Bolingbrook Walmart was once a friend and supporter of the Bolingbrook Veterans. In the last 3 years, Bolingbrook Walmart has slowly turned it's back on those veterans. The new management will not even provide an acknowledgment to a request for combat veterans to stand outside it's doors to hand out poppies Memorial Day Week. Just weeks ago, Walmart announced how it created a program to hire veterans. Well, apparently this store doesn't get it. Walmart stated that this new hiring of veterans was to show their support. We see a double standard. The veteran's of Bolingbrook did not hesitate to give up their time to provide a Color Guard for the opening of the new Walmart when they asked us. We are asking for nothing but a place to stand and hand out poppies which will in turn help veteran families in need. This does not cost Walmart anything. Apparently, they have a short memory. However, the Bolingbrook Veterans do not. Next stop, Walmart Headquarters. Maybe the store manager will enjoy explaining their self to Corporate. read more
