This store is the worst in organization. Many times the shelves are empty. Took 6 weeks to get Lipton Tea on the shelf. Today. Looking for Jean's in the plus size rack, and what is there? Petite! Gobs of 8s an 10s. How about getting employees that can read? read more

Beware of GROCERY PICK UP! Where do I begin. Let's just say I spent a lot of money at this specific location, this is only a review for the grocery pick up. They are terrible! Most of the time I have items missing or out of stock and the substitutes they do are horrible. I've even went inside to get Somthing after the pick up and the item they said was out of stock was in fact in stock in stores. I also have received other people's items. This last grocery pick up I spent almost 300 dollars worth of groceries and a bunch was out of stock or subbed. When I got home I had 43 items MISSING!!!! They made me believe I had all these items when I got home. Talk about deceiving! No one told me. I also got a bunch of other people's stuff when I got home. What the heck is wrong with the staff? I am so mad about it. I truly believe some of the people that work there are totally careless and just don't give a darn. One thing I learned is you don't play with people's food or money. Well that was the last straw with me. I called the grocery pick up help line for a refund. I can assure you Bridgeton Walmart. You lost a good customer and I will never go back for grocery pick up there. read more

This is not a super walmart, but they pack products in every nook and cranny of the store as if it were a supercenter. The place is packed. The lines are long. It is difficult to move about the store with carts full of random things, boxes in the middle of the isle. I live within minutes of Walmart but prefer to go to Target. The workers, in general, could give a crap. read more

The customer service I received today was horrible in self checkout..The checkout cashier Chelsea was disrespectful, had a bad attitude, unprofessional, nasty tone of voice, made derogatory remarks and had threatening body language...when asking for assistance to scan an item she threw my merchandise on the register. It angered me so that I cancelled my purchase in the middle of the transaction. I will never shop at this location again! Waited in line at the delis fried foods counter for 15 minutes, a guy came out from the back, looked at me and walked back inside as I waited another 10 minutes just for potato wedges. Got a fishing license yesterday and the woman acted like I was burdening her by being there. Some of the employees aren't friendly at all. read more

Larger, brighter, cleaner store. The pros are; 1. Produce section. 2. Deli that also has a hot service bar area and a bakery. 3. Vision Center 4. Larger grocery section with man new and expanded choices . 5. Larger selection of electronic items, tv, computers, etc. 6. Automotive area. Can get tires changes, rotated or oil change. Wally World does the basic car fixes. 7. Bringing business and money into Bridgeton The cons are; 1. More people hired. They brought in 85 jobs and few people seem to be working. 2. Most times I go in there are very few carts because they seem to be in the parking lot. Rolling down the sloped lot towards Garden Ridge. Or, as I witnessed, 2 smacked into a sedan. 3. The aforementioned parking lot. It is a pain to get into the lot if you make a left as if you are going to the automotive area. It is a very large lot. 4. This is my pet peeve and from others I have spoken with, I am not alone. They have more registers but never more than 4 or 5 open registers, with 2 for 20 items or less and 15 or more customers in each line. To add to customer frustration for their time spent waiting you can see5 or 6 employees standing up front talking and laughing as I stand there with a bag of cat foot and deodorant. I will give them the benefit of the doubt as I have only been to the new store 7 times. But each time was peak, mid week about 5:30 in the evening. You would think someone would notice the human traffic jam and call for at least one back-up checker. After I checked out and was passing the employees, I have no idea if they were cashiers or management, but when I passed I slowed down and asked if they get paid to stand around yakking while customers stood in line for a ridiculous time to check out when you chould be doing your job. I was told to mind my business. So, I doubt my pearls of wisdom were heeded. There may be more pluses than minuses, but that's not always a good thing when the negatives are strong and powerful negatives. The store moved but essentially brought its same problems with it. It is only a matter of time until it becomes what ghettofantrailerparktabulious. They have a fresh clean, new store that needs proper management that this store does not go the way of the crappy one that was in St Ann. This store has so many possibilities if the management team would work together. Another plus, I do not feel the need to carry my side arm when shopping at this Walmart. Yet. read more

i absolutely hate this store, its the closest one to me but i would rather drive to st charles, and i used to think the st charles store was the worst i've been too. its like no one there cares about their job what so ever, and customer service is the last thing on their mind, i've waited in line just to get to the counter and have the cashier just walk off, the money center people are slow, the lines are always out of control, managers are just as worthless as the rest of the employees, they should have never closed the old store and built this super center, they are just tearing up the new store and making it as shitty and dirty as the old one read more

Everytime I go in the store the greeters are rude, lines are long and slow, the employees are useless, and the customers plow over you! The cashier in self checkout ripped into me for setting my purse on the floor while checking out(not really sure why it was her business). Can't put it on the area with the bags and had a basket on the basket holder. So I guess next time I use self checkout I have to hang my purse off my ears . read more

This is the worst Walmart I have been in! I always say I am not going back, but I live so close and they do have better prices. The parking lot is horrible! It's not big enough and laid out horribly. The store is small compared to other "Super Centers" and they are often out of things! They never have enough check out lines either. There are a few decent people working there, but most are rude and act like we are lucky they are taking our money. If you go to the Chesterfield one or Ballwin one it's like night and day different! I sometimes to go Target instead, since it's a much nicer experience, but sadly there are some things they either don't have or just run too high on. When they first opened they had at last enough stock of things, but not they are constantly out of items and no one cares when you ask or complain. read more

Very busy all times of the day. I can never find an associate to help. Items get stocked in the wrong place so prices ring up different at checkout. Checkers are always unhappy don't speak or say thank you. Always long lines and long wait times. They have at least 18-19 lanes but usually only have 6 open at a time. I have started going to Target up the street. They cost more but the associates are nicer, you can always find someone to help you and they have fewer lanes but all of the lanes are usually open. read more

I was in at 8 AM today to return a shirt with a receipt. No one at the return counter, great! I hand the woman my shirt and receipt and she starts clicking on her computer screen. Then a store employee walks right in front of me to exchange 2 pairs of pants. She actually tells her friend "I wanted to get here while you weren't busy". This is after the cleck took my shirt and receipt. And I'm standing right there. The clerk tries 5 or six times to exchange the pants and give her friend a $1.16 refund on a store credit card. Each time the credit doesn't register on the card. Then she calls for a manager. He comes over and does the exact same thing 4 different times with exactly the same results. Do they train anyone? Even I knew after 3 or 4 times it wasn't the card. I know Walmart didn't get where it's at with customer service but customer belligerence has got to hurt them sooner or later. read more

I do not understand why when I call WALMART in BRIDGETON ( St.Louis county) I am on the phone for over 20 mins I got hung up on 4 different times then I was transferred to the auto dept 2 different times Alls I was wanting was a PRICE CHECK on PEREX CRYSTALS IN THE BLUE BOTTLE. Then on top of it they were very rude. This is not my first go around with the BRIDGETON WALMART!! I do not RECOMMEND anyone going to the BRIDGETON WALMART I think they are very unprofessional and plus they need to get workers who actually care!! read more

Horrible. I absolutely hate shopping at Walmart. The prices are within reason, but I always have a bad experience when coming here. I will go out of my way to shop at places like Target, even though they are more expensive, but their staff is so much more helpful and nicer. On one my visits to this Walmart, I was seriously pushed up against the shelves by an employee because he was looking for something. No apology, no excuse me, just flat out get out of my way attitude. Mind you, I am 9 months pregnant. On my last visit, I came to buy a crib. After walking around the entire store several times to find an employee to lift the crib up and take it to the front for purchase, I finally found one. She then directed me to the fitting rooms to ask them to send workers from receiving to life the crib for me. I did what she suggested. I went back to infants to wait for receiving. After about a 25 minute wait with a no show from receiving, I had people who didn't even work there, lift the crib into a cart for me. I then guided the cart to the front slowly to make sure it didn't fall, since the crib didn't even fit in the cart in the first place. When I got to the register, the cashier rolled her eyes the entire time. Everyone who works here is rude and lazy! If I didn't have a gift card to Walmart, I would have never even given a thought to coming here. read more

Worst Wal-Mart around. I mean all Wal-Marts are terrible but this one BLOWS. Like here is a normal trip there; Driving into the parking lot, WATCH OUT might get t-boned by someone not knowing there was a stop sign for them. Okay you made it to the parking lot, have fun driving around for at least another 8 minute Led-Zepplin song. Okay you find a parking spot, hallelujah, right? Well have fun making it to the door in one piece, pedestrian right away means ZERO. Like pay for my college tuition, help a sista out. I'm shopping at Wal-mart so you already know I'm poor as hell. Okay you made it into the store, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT get a shopping cart. You have a lot to buy? Better work on them tri's and bi's because a cart won't fit through and aisle, and if by the grace of God it does, well you better hope someone else doesn't come down the same aisle from the other way because someone will have to back out since there aint enough room for the both of ya's. Have fun with that stalemate. So assuming you get all of your shopping done and youre still somewhat coherent and not raging, have fun with finding a line with less than 50 people. And on you're way out try again not to get smashed into the pavement and hopefully you car is still there. BRUH read more
