Ordered 4 Brand new tires from online had them put on with service center with road hazard warranty purchase. 2 months in a nail in sidewall and can't be fixed (okay cool) but in order to get my money back I have to buy another tire (WTF) so I do and take it back in to have installed, Wait two hours even with appt for them to put the brand new tire on wrong side, yet charged me again for road hazard for what?? So, to say I went back again and waited for 3 hours when they messed up to begin with it should have been PRIORITY, they gave every excuse we do not touch tires with custom wheels etc. etc. Nothing shy of a nightmare and honestly, they can keep the money for whatever they need cause ill never be back. On Sunday, July 27, 2025, I visited the auto care department to have my tires balanced and rotated, because I was going to a family reunion out of town on Thursday. After waiting about an hour, I was told that they could not balance and rotate the front tires, they need to be replaced. They did not have the tires in stock, so I went online and ordered two tires, which was scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 (see below). However, I received an email last night that stated "sorry your order is delayed", expect to arrive July 31, 2025, 8:00PM (see below). I contacted Walmart today, July 30, 2025, just to be told that they are sorry, what an understatement. I was also told that I could not cancel an order that had been shipped. So, you can't right a wrong, and you can not cancel the order, that you promised to be delivery on time. I see why this store has 2 star rating, it actually deserve a 1 star rating, which is what I will be giving it. I also see why there was a call for boycotting Walmart, this differently needs to be boycotted. I went for a tire change appointment at 4:00 pm, and I showed up early at 3:40. Checked in early, and I still waited over an hour for them to ultimately come tell me they cannot perform the service. I have an older model cadillac which has a known issue of the keys not coming out of the ignition. I told the associate Ernie how I get the key out, and he cut me off saying he could not do that. I asked for a refund of the tire and he said he put it in my backseat. After being there for so long, I didn't want to waste any more of my one day off this week for a 60$ tire but the response from him put me in an even worse mood than I was already in from the wait. I am so upset with walmart after this and all I wanted was to stop driving on a tire that has a side wall patch. I asked him if I could at least show him how to take the key out so they could perform the service but he refused. I will not be shopping at walmart ever again after this unfortunate scenario. Yesterday , Thursday Oct the 29th around 6-7 pm, I walked into the building and asked the older, tall black guy if I was able to get one of the automatic grocery carts , and If so could I receive help because I wasn't familiar with them. He didn't make eye contact with me once , he said to me "are you disabled?" I told him I recently hurt my back in the gym . He then proceeded to ignore me and help other customers who were walking into the store . When going to a Walmart and any place in the United States of America our expectation is that we're going to get the quality of service that we definitely look for in the Walmart. I walk into this local Walmart on Tyndall Parkway in the home and pharmacy department looking for a particular item and pharmacy. Upon walking inside, they were little to no employees available and they all looked this shoveled as if they were too busy to assist. I get to the pharmacy and I make an attempt to locate the item for which I'm looking for. I'm looking for lidocaine which is a numbing spray for the skin. After about 20 minutes of looking for the item, I decided to locate an associate for assistance. They were definitely far and in between and I couldn't find one anywhere. I didn't proceeded to go to a associate that was overseeing self check out. I asked her if she could paid for assistance in the pharmacy area. She then referred me to the people that were working in the actual pharmacy who were at this time preoccupied. I didn't ask her again to page an associate to assist. She asked me for the item to which I was looking for and I told her lidocaine. She was unable to understand what I said so I repeated it three or four times. After repeating it several times, I ask her again to page an associate to the pharmacy. Immediately, I spotted an associate with pink hair that was working in stocking another area of the department. I asked the associate where was the lidocaine and if she could assist me in locating it. The associate then proceeds to "point" me to what aisles it could be on but she said "she wasn't sure." I shared with her that I was looking for this item for a while and I hadn't seen it. She didn't reply to me that "I'm kind of busy, hun. If it's not over there then I honestly don't know what to tell you." At this moment, I decided rather than a page from the store at all I would dismiss myself and leave altogether. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had when dealing with a business such as Walmart. My expectation should be much better than this but given that the ratings already associated to this Walmart I really bad I don't know why I should have any other opinions about it as well. I made an appointment for an 11am oil change about a week ago. Al was the associate taking the appointment. $24.88 for the pit crew was the price he quoted; I'd be supplying my own oil and filter. I arrived at 10:40 and they couldn't find my appointment. Al was not there, just part-time, coming in at 4pm. The price he quoted was not honored. The price is $30. They got the truck in at 11:15. It wasn't done until 12:15. Everyone was doing a slow-walk. The person working on my truck disappeared into the pit under the truck for 20 minutes, I imagined taking a nap. Obviously paid by the hour. I observed the process from outside of the lined-off area. I like to watch work being done on my truck. That annoyed them. They closed the doors so I couldn't see. The service advisor said that I made them nervous watching them work (or waste time). I never got the feeling that they are competent for anything more than an oil change that takes an hour. Hopefully everything got tightened up well but I'm nervously watching for oil leaks. I'll go somewhere else next time. read more

Live in Texas and came back to help get my house in PAnama city Florida for repairs. Went to Walmart in Callaway and they were closed. Their hours after Hurricane Michael no longer open 24/7. Now they're open at 6am. Panama City Florida took a really hard beating from Hurricane Michael. Walmart is working on restocking their items but there still are several things not on the shelves. Mostly things you would use for storage like boxes plastic containers strapping and ropes. Most of the stores near Tyndall AFB are closed for repair or permanently closed. read more

All the whining against Walmart. Service? Who in their right mind goes to Walmart for "service"? You go to Walmart to buy an item at a low price and get the heck out. That's what Walmart is for. It isn't to entertain you, provide you with the best service, or win you over with a pretty looking store... what the store looks like (old or new) doesn't affect the price of your product and frankly if you want a "shopping experience" fit for a king- go shop at an expensive grocery out-of-town (more like out of the region). The Callaway Walmart serves Tyndall A.F.B. and the surrounding area with aplomb and is noticeably cheaper than Winn Dixie and others that offer a better "shopping experience". I don't give a rats about shopping experience if all I need is a quart of motor oil or AA batteries. The bottom line is that the Callaway Walmart is a huge money saver for locals and it drives most of the traffic to the surrounding businesses that would be going out of business twice as fast if the Walmart wasn't there. If you want great produce, you're in the wrong place. Want a great price on having a tire patched? Then you're in the right place. I don't like long lines, so I often shop at 3am or so irrespective of what city I'm in. If I want better interiors (as if that has anything to do with smart shopping), better dressed shoppers, and a parking lot devoid of ghetto cars with ghetto music emanating from within- or trashy looking cars filled with trash and trashy people, then I'll wait 'till I'm beachside to shop. The bottom line is when I go to Walmart, I want to get a hatchet for $10 instead of $19 for the same hatchet at ACE. I want to get cereal, juice, or a case of beer for the crew cutting trees on the property, then I shop my local Walmart. I'm a smart shopper- I couldn't care less about all that "shopping experience" crap if I'm running in to get simple items as opposed to taking in some nice foo-foo-pretty interior in some food store. However, when I'm home in IN or CA... I will generally avoid stores altogether in certain areas... Don't like Walmart? Shop Whole Foods in Destin, FL; a short drive west. Don't like working at Walmart or don't like their insurance packages or whatever else people whine about? I'm staying in the area for a month & overall, this is your run of the mill, what's to be expected Walmart... good selection of all kinds of products, fairly fresh produce, good quality but slightly pricey meats & huge selection of frozen & canned foods, if that's your thing. The store is always a bit disorganized with racks of clothing blocking the path, items discarded by shoppers on the wrong shelves & some shelves needing restocking, but I feel that just goes to show how many use the store on a daily basis & how it's understaffed, like most big box stores. The ever full parking lot alone tells you how many shop here throughout the day/night. I don't echo the commenters speaking to rudeness of employees, but, I don't know what they're expecting... this is a WMart, where the local masses come for bargains & is the only one within miles, so it attracts all kinds of workers & guests. There is also a huge extended hotel directly across the street, further adding to the entertainment one might find roaming about, but then again, I'm a kamikaze shopper & am in & out as fast as my strappy sandals will carry me. As far as strange employees... well, again, it's a WMart, so I'm not expecting a Neiman Marcus experience. We all come for the same reason... cheapest prices around, convenient location with lots of parking, everything under 1 roof. Bonus: Open 24/7. Note that around 9-10pm (I forget now), you can only enter/exit through 1 door, so if you're a late night shopper, park over by the left entrance (when facing the bldg). This location also has: * Brand new, small, 2-4 chair Hair Salon... unfortunately, located right across from the registers, so your neighbors can see you get your fancy curly perm. Still prices are reasonable ($14+ haircuts) & the young women are pleasant. Might be better for kids or men getting quick cuts, since we women prefer a little privacy when traipsing around with a tangled, wet mane. * Small bank kiosk (I forget which branch, but I'll update next time I visit)... you'll find it by the ever present line of customers, especially military staff, to the right of the registers (when entering the store). * Vision Center, which never seems to be staffed. I've wanted to get my glasses tightened for a week, so hopefully, I'll find someone present within the next week. * Pharmacy... (just inside the right door). As in most stores, busy & always a line. * Rumor also has it there's a Tire & Lube Express & Photo Center, but as I'm not looking for them, I haven't noticed them. * Connection Center for cellphones, in Electronics. The cons? * Floors need to be cleaner, especially near the produce isles & meat cases. * Grossly understaffed & the wait times are reflected in the attitudes of annoyed shoppers everywhere in the store. There are long lines at the deli, bakery & all the aforementioned, besides Electronics (if you can find an employee in that section to assist you). Paying a few extra staff to prevent long register lines, in particular, would be most appreciated. Even your staff seems a bit flustered at time. It's not going to break the bank of the Walton family to add 1/2-dozen stockers & cashiers. Overall... standard WMart. No better, but no worse than any other I've seen. 3* out of 5. I only shop when I need something cheaply, it's the only place around as I'm traveling and I'm prepared to wait in line, even for the self checkout lines. read more

My baby doesn't have diapers now because they refuse to restock their diapers 2 weeks in a row. I needed size 3 huggies snugglers. Does your baby need wipes? Too bad. Walmart doesn't carry them, I suppose. Is your dog hungry? Too bad. No food allowed for the dogs. No wet or dry food. Does your dog deserve a treat? Too bad. Walmart doesn't think so. I normally never write a bad review. This isn't the first time an employee at this store has been rude. Most the time I get nice ones. Today I went in to get a couple of things. I went to the electronic section trying to find the air duster for keyboards. I looked for several minutes. I go to the counter at electronics where come to find out was the department manager. I politely said excuse me ma'am to get her attention. She continued looking down and than shook her head no. With the rudest facial expression. Never once acknowledged me or lifted her head. I found another employee who was polite enough to show me where I could find it. Seriously you need to get ahold of all the rude employees that work there. Saying we had be rejected once so he refused to let us purchase it. We weren't rejected, we had forgotten his wallet which had his ID in it, we went home to get it, came back to be told that. Let me tell you this place is a joke. Service stinks here. I'd gladly drive to the Lynn Haven Walmart on the other side of town so I don't have to deal with this one. I've been in there where there was only about 5 registers open, 2 being the speedy check out (Aside from the self-checkout) and it was slammed with lines. I actually left without buying anything. This happens a lot where there's lots of registers open and no cashiers. Some of them love to talk and talk to the customers. There's brief hello and how are you good customer service conversations. And there's long drawn out, pissing the people off behind them, conversations. The latter happens more often than I can count. Their security looks like a bag of crap. Uniforms always look like they picked it up off the floor and put it on. I laughed when I saw one VERY overweight guard trying to chase down a shoplifter. If it wasn't for the skinny guard ahead of her chasing the shoplifter, the girl would have been gone. I have nothing against people with weight. But, she could be better utilized where she could be more effective. I thought the poor girl was going to have a heart attack when she finally joined the other guard. I've brought spoiled strawberry's to one of the cashiers do to it had white mold inside of it. The Cashier actually asked me after glancing at it "Do you want to check out?" I told her "REALLY!" she looked at it again and said "OH!" and took it away. I always check the expiration date due to I've taken home expired products from here. Quality Control not very good. Today, I called about the Green Dot Card. The girl that answered the phone said "Hold On" and transferred me to a number that rang and rang. No one answered the call. It was eventually picked up again by the same girl I spoke to the first time. She said "Can I help you?" I told her that I needed information on the Green Dot card. She didn't say anything then transferred me to dead air. No sound, no ringing, nothing. I actually thought the phone hung up. It was still connected. I was getting irritated at this point because I waited about a minute of nothing before the same girl came on again. Saying "hello?" then louder "Hello!" I said AGAIN, I need information on the green dot card. She said I need to transfer you to some pay department. I wasn't even finished talking before she transferred me to dead air again. I wanted to tell her no one was answering. But she didn't let me finish. After waiting almost 30 seconds for someone to answer the dead air, I hung up. Angry and Frustrated. I called Lynn Haven Walmart and got my answer finally. I recommend not going to this place. read more

Wow. Tires I ordered on Walmart.com came in early so I got here at 9 am to have them put on. No other customers, so I was #1 in line. Come back 15 min later and two vehicles are getting the oil changed. Come back 40 min later my truck is still sitting outside the stall. Asked the lady why 4 vehicles have had oil changes and mine hasn't even been pulled into the stall yet? She said there is only 1 tire guy. Ok so why isn't he working on it? She had no clue! If it was busy I could understand but I was the only person waiting for tires! Finally my vehicle is pulled into the stall 45 min AFTER I checked in. I work at another Walmart so I am more forgiveing than most because I know how understaffed we are but to not even start the work for 45 min is unacceptable. I suggest you pay a little extra and get the tires put on elsewhere or order your tires from SAMs Club and have them put them on. At least there I have always had quick, friendly service.
