The store is clean, orderly and efficient. I am deducting one star due to an experience we had here years ago. Am I holding a grudge? Maybe just a little. We were returning from Kentucky on a Sunday and stopped here to pick up some Yuengling to take back home. We walked around the entire store with 3 cases of beer in our cart, passing several employees, and NOT ONE PERSON told us that Indiana does not permit the sale of alcohol on Sunday. it was not until we went to checkout that the person cashiering clued us in. Each time I have gone here I have been satisfied with the customer service I had received. The prices are items are your typical prices and love how if you have a target red card you get an additional 5% off your items when you use it. If you don't have a red card definitely join if you like to save money. Also they have target 360 that you can join. It has a lot of great perks and you get a free gift each month. I haven't had any issues with any items I have purchased here before and feel I have always been satisfied.

I waited in Tracy's line for almost 30 minutes, which burned my soul. I understand patience is a virtue, but having him slow down an entire checkout line all day... Is very stressful and frustrating to all guests who enter his line. I recommend a target that is better staffed, especially if you have to run in and grab something... When my mother was seriously ill, this Target became a go-to stress reliever when I'd visit her at Hendricks Regional in Danville. It was big enough here that I could get lost. Despite living very close to the Glendale Target, I frequented this one a lot. Flash forward to today. My father recently passed away and I'm spending a lot of time in nearby Putnam County. Yesterday, in particular, was a bit stressful as I began clearing out some more personal items and couldn't quite get through the emotions to clear my father's clothing. I decided to stop in Target for some friendly faces, stress relief, and a few items I knew I needed. First off, this is a Target SuperCenter. I sometimes forget that Glendale, while being large, is not a SuperCenter in anyway. This location has, I believe, three entrances. All entrances offer accessible parking, automatic doors, and easy accessibility. I do wish Target had some smaller carts (maneuvering large carts from a wheelchair is a hassle), but that's a minor deficiency. Too many people think the automatic carts are for wheelchair users - they're not. They're great for people who have difficulty walking long distances, however, for someone who stays in a wheelchair they're impractical. While I can get a little frustrated at Glendale for items they don't have, this Target tends to have them. There are exceptions - I was dismayed by the small quantity of V8 energy availability here and it's WAY less than Glendale. There were other food items where I'd look at them and think "That's all you have?" On the other hand, this Target is cleaner. It's better organized. The employees are friendlier (though still have a tendency to block aisles when stocking and be clueless when a wheelchair user comes by trying to get through. Here's your clue - move your cart.). I only needed a handful of items. I was able to find them, generally, quite easily. Employees were friendly. I used self-checkout - this is rare for me, but given my small order it worked well. The employee supervising it wasn't particularly interactive, however, it was fine. I've never used this store's online order or drive-up pick-up options. So, I can't give an opinion there. However, I was pleased with my in-store experience after a stressful day clearing out my father's home.

Safeway Foods is a smaller local option, not to be confused with the conglomerate Safeway/Albersons. Safeway Foods is minimal with small aisles and a largely processed food selection. The main attraction is a deli that receives rave reviews in some circles so that is my primary reason for visiting and reviewing. The parking lot is large, parking is no issue as the adjoining business (West Wing Pizza) is sadly no longer around. The produce and meat are well chilled, the sanitation feels much better than Kroger where everything is questionable on a given day. Selection and quality of produce is scarce, and pricing isn't great. Meat is well available with competitive pricing however. Service is great, I stood in a line of 4 and a new lane was swiftly opened. The deli options are vast, lots of Midwest-ish salads, including Ham Salad which slightly terrifies me. I went with the Fried Chicken and Mac N Cheese. Mac N Cheese was mid but edible, very soft noodles if that's your thing - it's not mine. Chicken missed the mark of the subtle Reddit hype I've read, but it was not bad. The season is the reason, the taste of the actual breading is very good. It is possible that made to order would improve the quality significantly so take my review with a grain of salt.
