This wal mart is pretty good. The staff are helpful, and the store is pretty well stocked on a variety of items. It would be a 4 star if they'd include books of faith that are other than the LDS and Christian books. CC is becoming diverse and there are people here that are non-LDS and non-Christians as well. You'd think that with SUU and all the different types of people here that wal mart would be first in line to celebrate diversity, but not in this case. read more

Stopped in with some buddies on our way Circleville, UT and needed some accoutrements. There are few places that provide that one stop shop to get just about everything you need. The exception to that is Walmart. 94.3% of the time, I can find exactly what I am looking for. This particular location was just such a Walmart and I found 100% of what I was seeking. Located right of the I-15, this is an east one to spot & shop. The parking lot is enormous and so is the store. I have found that shopping at Walmart's in different regions of the country can be an almost positive and uplifting experience. The two locations in Southern Utah, have offered up experiences unlike anything I have experienced in Vegas. Employees can actually be helpful and friendly! Sure...I am playing right into the "kill small business" model, but I don't feel as guilty. If I lived 100 miles out in the middle of nowhere in Southern Utah, you can bet I would make the trek to stock up on supplies here. read more

I love this Walmart. The produce, bakery and deli are amazing and so well presented. The staff are helpful and happy to answer questions. The store over all has an amazing variety of clothing and other household goods. Always find things I can't find at other Walmarts. Even though it's not our local Walmart, we love going here when in the area. No problem with parking or help out if needed. Rest rooms are nice and clean. Good job Cedar City Walmart!! read more

The Cedar City Walmart is not accepting cash in their self check stations. (approx. 12 self check stations) They also did not have more than two or three other registers open during an extremely busy time (11:00 am 5-25-21). The lines are ridiculous and the wait time is 30-50 minutes to get checked out if you are paying in cash. People are extremely frustrated and are going to choose to shop at Lin's or Smith's instead of going through this social manipulation to force us to go cashless. The workers that have worked there for years scatter as soon as you point this terrible waiting and will do nothing to open up another register. The coin shortage is no longer the reason for cards only. This is a management problem. The store needs 10 more cashiers but will only pay them $11. per hour. No one can live on this amount of money. Most of the cashiers are older people working their back sides off and doing the best they can. It is obvious they are exhausted. Stop making hardworking people eligible for welfare Walmart! read more

I bought a refill card from walmart for my Cricket phone..When I took the plastic strip off the back it took off all the numbers needed to refill the phone service..Cricket said there is nothing they can do, even though there is a SKU number on the back that has all the info they need..I know this for a fact because how else would you be able to scan the bar code at the register to be able to activate a specific card, with a specific number to activate it ..Anyway..Cricket wont help.. And Walfart wont return it because the have a no return policy for Cricket cards ..Flushing 40 bucks down the toilet would have been better because at least I would have been able to wave bye to my hard earned money as it went away read more

Worst customer service! Walmart employees are usually very courteous and always helpful. This store was very different. We asked them to help us find sweatshirts for our kids and they said "There is no way we have any". We ended up finding them on our own. Then customer service refused to change a $10 for quarters, even though their change machine was not working. Glad I am only passing through and this is not my regular Walmart. read more

DON'T buy refrigerated products from this WalMart!! Stocking of meats and dairy with expired dates happens frequently. Worse, meat products and dairy have been POORLY REFRIGERATED so they either spoil quickly (or in the case of sausage and hot dogs, they expand in their packaging or turn a nasty color in their package). Unless you want a trip to ER FOR FOOD POISONING, spend the extra pennies at Smith's or Lin's and BE SAFE with your health and your families health. read more

I don't know who manages this store but things are constantly moving. The produce section is now set up so traffic flow is blocked except for at two end and is noticeably harder to get around. The worse part is that they got rid of hand baskets so that you can't just grab a few things without having to maneuver a big cart around the store. read more

This is by far the friendliest Walmart I have ever been to. We were looking for a few basic items on our way to Zion. The size of the store kept us from an efficient search, but every time we looked lost another employee would offer their help. I even had one person who was obviously restocking an area stop what she was doing to lead me to the items I needed. Wow! read more
