I should have trusted my instincts, but I've bought meat with some chunks of fat before. Today, however, I was making the asada tacos and thoroughly inspected the meat before putting it in the pan. Half of the meat I bought was fatty! Again, I understand that a little fat adds flavor, but the amount of fat in two pounds of meat was simply excessive. It appears that shards of fat were mixed in with regular meat. It was ridiculous. I spent the next half hour picking the fat chunks out. Again, this shop has a large selection of meats and cuts, and while I'm sure some are better than others, this was not it! Also, the store can get crowded, and while they have a lot of Mexican food products, the aisles are very close together, and the lines to the register can be confusing.

I couldn't find 1 worker at the back of the store and had to go find a cashier at the front of the store to let her know. I asked her if she seen the kids on their bikes come into the store and she said yes. I said well they are riding wheelies at the back of the store so she announced it on the loudspeaker. When she did the kids riding their bikes heard it and started leaving knocking everything off of the store shelves . In the meantime all of the other store employees came out of the back room of the store and had to pick all of the store products off of the floor. My complaint is why were they even allowed to bring their bikes in the store ? Put a bike rack outside and make them leave their bikes outside.

I was in the New Walmart in Ceres on Tuesday Dec. 28 at 12:41 at the Check out which was Great -- untill I went to my car and was putting my Groceries into the Back of my Car --after I finished I got into my Jeep and glanced out to the car next to me -- which I had noticed a -- PERVERT -- getting into -- I was trying to make sure it was safe for me to pull out -- and he had his penis in his hand and was wagging it at me -- I put my window down and shouted to 2 men who were walking by -- what was going on -- My phone was in my purse -- and as I was trying to get it out so I could get pictures -- the -- Pervert -- backed out and took off like a shot -- So Walmart needs to have a Security Guard in the Parking Lot !!! I arrived at this and completed most of my shopping my Wife indicated it to me that she wanted spaghetti tonight. So I went to the meat section and inspecting the meat. It was all brown and had different colors to it.. But it was just really bad in General. I contacted the store manager and showed her the pictures I took of the meat and how bad it looked, and she immediately copped an attitude with me and I felt this is not a position that she should hold if she does not listen to customers who are loyal to the store and she has a problem with issues that are appointed out within the store. Somebody maybe needs to look at how she addresses customer service or needs to be retrained as a manager on how to deal with the public. I have some pictures if upper management want to see what I'm talking about and feel free to contact me and I will let everybody know. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this Walmart store. Employees were unhelpful, disinterested, and acted as if customers were an inconvenience rather than their priority. Getting assistance was nearly impossible, and when I finally did, the staff member was rude and dismissive. Simple questions were met with attitude, and no effort was made to resolve the issue. Long lines, poor communication, and a complete lack of professionalism made this a frustrating experience. This level of customer service is unacceptable for a company of Walmart's size. I will think twice before shopping here again and would not recommend this location to anyone expecting basic courtesy or help. read more

This review is for the Ceres Walmart photo department and based on Denise only. The day before Christmas Eve, I come to pick up my photos that I ordered for gifts. I ordered them on line and did the "store to store" option that takes a few days and costs a little less. I thought the quality would be the same as 1 hour. It wasn't. They were very blurry. I talked to Denise. She was very patient. Very kind. Very understanding. And very busy with everyone else's prints. She helped me reprint my photos and exchanged them. Thank you Denise for having great customer service. Especially since it was so busy and so close to Christmas. read more

FINAL nail in Ceres coffin. The store has only been open a week and a half! We had to dodge the soda cups and tossed out garbage in general just to park. I was two spaces over purposely to avoid a ripe, plump abandoned baby diaper. O.k. lets put on the waders and make it over to the Wallyworld enterance for my 1st and last visit there! How long will this town killing super WM stay in this building before abandoning it? Probably 20ish years max. I always felt like Wal-Mart was a poor-man's Target. This particular Wal-Mart is very ghetto (hope that doesn't offend anybody, but it's true) and it isn't very well taken care of. The minimal grocery variety is infuriating at best, I really don't even understand why it's there! The store is always crowded, and they never have enough cash registers open. Racist Loss Prevention Karen calls the police and tells them I'm being "physically combative." She trespasses me. She called me "some Hispanic dude." Refused to give her name. Glass counter did not have prices for phones. They got angry at me for asking them to ask all of them. I just needed a cheap phone, but couldn't tell the price for any of them.
