Bought a small refrigerator from Walmart and when we unpacked it at home we discovered that it was damaged. It is no fun dragging a refrigerator back to a store. I like this Walmart because it's HUGE!! It has Everything including a big supermarket, deli and bakery that has everything you need! Also an auto section that has everything you need, a big pharmacy, it has an enormous selection clothes and shoes from newborn to adult, it also has a jewelry section, kitchen, bed and bath stuff, party supplies, big area for pet supplies, so many toys, books, bikes and exercise equipment even hunting supplies. Pool supplies. A section for camping and fishing and sports. The electronic area has a big selection of everything from tv's, games, game consoles, smartphones, cameras, earphones, headphones and many other fun devices even lots of movies. This Walmart even has an Optometry, it won't surprise me if they add a dentistry lol . And when there is a holiday they have ALL The decor for it. My favorite is the Garden area where there are lots of plants, trees and veggies for planting, it has everything you need, from soil to garden decor, garden lights and furniture and it's where the bbq grills are at too, I gave it only 4 stars because, it can get very crowded and lines to register are long and parking sometimes is a pain but if you go early when they open it's better read more

To help with social distancing, this store did a good job putting marks on the floor to direct the traffic for each aisle - it suppose to be one-way direction in each aisle. Yet, I had a few people walking straight up against me in the tiny aisle in violation of the traffic marks. I also saw one shopper pushing his cart leisurely aisle by aisle in the office supply section, walking in the opposite direction against all direction signs on the floor. Walmart needs to let people know, at the entrance, to comply with these floor signs for walking directions. Otherwise, the strategy of posting signs on the floor will be wasted. And, have a special shoutout to the wonderful shoppers who did comply with the walking signs. (I saw two people checking the signs before entering an aisle.) You guys are smart and awesome! I called this morning to raise my concern about buying a box of cereal yesterday morning that had been expired since Dec 2017 but the operator didn't seem to care she just said to go on and return it. She didn't get the info of the cereal to at least let the store manager know so they can get it off the shelf before someone else buys it. This place is a Walmart supercenter as you would expect they have everything. Parking is ample they have their own huge lot. Some of the lot is shaded so you can get a shady spot. They made my 5 year old girl cry. I was in the store so my daughter can pick out a present for my other daughter for her birthday. It took some time and she picked out a doll that was on the shelf with a gig display. Finishing our shopping she kept reaching in the cart and making it sing. She asked me if she could "take turns playing with it" with her sister. At checkout the doll did not scan. I was told " we-no-sell-you-this" and the doll was ripped from my daughters hands. I asked for the manager and she told me "If it doesn't scan I wont sell it to you, it is company policy" so I asked for the supervisor who came over with a big attitude raising her voice to me telling me that's the way it is and walked away from me. Every penny and tenth of a penny per unit of stock turns into millions in a company of Wal-Mart's size. So what do you do? Stop shopping there? Sure, but is everyone around you going to do the same? It's one of those terrible things that you'd rather not think of, but you know it's out there, just looming around. The only reason why I'm granting this more than one star is because when it comes down to it, this place is damn cheaper than most other places for general merchandise. Otherwise, like Steve mentioned before me, this place is an eye-sore to the Cerritos Towne Center. This was one of the very first Wal-Mart's in the Southern California region and the second store to open in the Towne Center. I believe that it was this particular Wal-Mart that siphoned away business from the next, superior discount retailer: Fedco. That alone is something very unforgivable. This Wal-Mart had much opposition to its opening back in 1994. People either wanted a high-end outdoor shopping center like Fashion Island or a Polynesian cultural center. But since the trend was backing away from luxury goods, planners decided to build a store that would appeal to the masses (discount retail). The downside to this was that it brought in, and still does, people from the poorer neighborhoods. Even people from Cerritos don't go here that often. It's not worth having around I would rather see the city create a higher end anchor for this shopping center to help bring in the people this was originally designed for: the residents. Thankfully, this Wal-Mart recently underwent it's first renovation in some 13 years, and has gotten better in terms of store organization, but in general, the aisles are still a mess and associates are hard to come by to assist you. There's a constant scramble of people going to and from their cars and it's very hard to cross the crosswalk area. If you have the unfortunate pleasure of having to pass by that area, I recommend driving around the long way to avoid possibly hitting a pedestrian. The Wal-Mart takes up too much space and a part of the store is actually a fake facade wall! Check out the east elevation of the building, and you will see that there are beams propping up the eastern end of the facade facing the main parking lot. Why can't this Wal-Mart just being either the best Wal-Mart ever by utilizing that space, or the city bring in more retailers to occupy the zone around the Wal-Mart? That would help in increasing the curb appeal of the area immediately surrounding Wal-Mart and can only help to dilute the type of people who actual shop at Wal-Mart with more of the kind that Cerritos was meant for. read more

I really don't like shopping here, but they price wise some staples are just cheapest in the vicinity. Also they have a self checkout so if you're not using coupons, then the wait is not so bad. However, if you do decide to wait on one of the cashiers, be prepared to wait. Unlike Costco's motivation for ringing up people per minute, Walmart doesn't motivate their employees and you'll be stuck waiting. If you have a Walmart gift card under $10, you can cash it out but only at the customer service counter. The girl that works there knows what she is doing, can't say the same for anyone else. What you need to get here: Lactaid half gallon: $3.78 Eggs dozen: $2.24 (fluctuates a few cents) Will call items are picked up in the back of the store, someone helps you and put a sticker on so you can go directly out the door. Oh walmart.. where can I start. I love everything available in Walmart. It seems like Walmart know what I want and always has it in stock. From things as tiny as my 1 year olds feet to as large as my husband's shoes. I can usually find all I want in there. I came here though to find a wifi scale and this was the first time Walmart didn't have what I wanted. I was very disappointed as I always find things I need. I did find some decent scales that were cheap and had good reviews. Bought my daughter the cutiest outfits ever at only 9.95$ each. This is the 2 piece price. I don't think that there is any store out there that can beat that. My daughter is going to freak out because she loves Disney clothing and skirts. The clothes I buy from there seem to last along time and survive through the washing machine. I bought my husband 2 long sleeve shirts that were $5 each. He thought they were going to look bad until he tried them on. He loves them. Parking There is alot of parking available but it seems like it's always taken. I have to drive around for a while before I can find a spot I like. Shopping center Ross and PetSmart are close by and make shopping easy. I came here to write a negative review and saw all the other negative reviews and see that I had the exact same experience as other reviwers. When you call the employees here youre lucky if they stop and turn around. Most of the time they will ignore you and pretend like youre invisible. Today was my lucky day one employee made an eye contact with me after I said excuse me and do you know what he did? He rolled his eyes at me and sighed and looked at me like what now? Wow Walmart, great job on training your employees! Its not just them who is tired and irritated. We all are going through this and I do not roll my eyes and sigh when someone needs help at my work. This is one of the dirtiest Walmart I've ever been. I really thought that if I came to a nice city the Walmart would match, boy was I wrong. You can tell the floor is mismanaged because I couldn't find a staff member and when I finally did they were huddled up gossiping. Staff ignored me multiple times when I was trying to ask questions. Because she is consistently thee nicest cashier you'll ever meet . She interacts with the customers in a way that is just so genuinely kind and sincere. My kids love her too lol .
