I've come to this store a few times, some of the staff are both friendly and helpful. Today I was checking out, went to use my Walgreens App (for points) on my phone, and the cashier was a little bit sarcastic. I tried to tell her what I was doing, all she said was she hadn't gotten to the payment part on her screen. I showed her my phone screen, which clearly said to hold my phone to the reader so I can get my points. She said she hadn't gotten never seen that before, in a tone which almost had me just voiding the purchase. Perhaps some training may be in order? Don't waste your time at all coming here...PLEASE! I came in with a normal issue that a regular associate helped me with previously.... I was in & out. I came in again recently with the same issue and "Mrs Veronica/Vero" or whatever her name is, was the one to check me out & with what a normal employee made look simple...she made the biggest deal about! She told me don't comeback until I have what I need and she since "she's the manager" she can't help me with my issue.... When a regular employee did what she said she can't do. I don't know if it's because my race or because she was having a bad day but it's still unacceptable plus she made me uncomfortable so I never came back. read more

5-stars for the photo printing department. One time, I had print issues for mistakes I made & the associate was able re-print for me at no extra cost. Be sure to have your order numbers and email confirmations ready as it's common to take a bit for them to locate your order. The location can sometimes draw in some unsavory characters but the associates are really great with being firm & ensuring the safety of their customers. read more

I just sat on the phone waiting to speak to someone in the pharmacy for 24 minutes. At which time the phone was picked up and then hung up immediately. I then called their corporate office in Sacramento. Explain to the woman that I had tried for two days to get through to Walgreens because there's automated system wouldn't accept the prescription order. It is funny. The Corporate Office said they would get in touch with them and connect me. After 15 more minutes, I was connected with the pharmacy. If you really need to use this Pharmacy, I would suggest you work through their Corporate Office in Sacramento. They're much more helpful than the local people read more

Worst customer service. Went to get a passport photo taken for my son around 7:30 on a Tuesday. Mind you we were the only ones in the store. 3 associates were standing there doing nothing, going back and forth about who was going to take this photo for 2 minutes straight. I was literally speechless. The first older Asian lady that walked over looked around and called Ronnie over to come take it. He came over smirked and said he didn't want to do it and walked away. Then I'm assuming she was the manager because she was in regular clothes, walked over and asked ronnie again. to take the photo. he said " no you take it" and thats when i had enough and left. so instead of stepping in and offering to help they continued on amongst themselves. This Walgreens is very well stocked with a different variety of products and a couple of nice sales people, the bad part is the manager that was on duty and the lady that finally came to the register after I asked the manager on duty "is anyone working here?" Because I have been standing there approximately 5 to 7 minutes, when he came over to help me it was with a attitude ... I was trying to load a debit card from cash app and the card was not working, when I returned after I found a way to do it online the cashier that came to the register had an even worse attitude like she did not want to be at work.. they really need to work on courtesy there. read more

They also have both full-sized and travel-sized bottles of the hand sanitizers. My husband had been to urgent care earlier in the day, and my husband needed a prescription filled on a Sunday. We kept checking with the Walgreens in Artesia which is in our neighborhood and the recording kept saying that they would call us when the prescription was ready. Well finally 6 o'clock came and we realized the pharmacy had closedat 6:00 so we drove over to Lakewood Walgreens because it has a 24 hour pharmacy to see if they could go into their system and fill the prescription for us because my husband needed it that evening. They were very accommodating and kind and very quickly filled the prescription. It put our minds at ease. We were so grateful. read more

What's the point of working as a customer service rep if you're going to act like you have a stick up your bottom. At the pharmacy when they opened the female at the counter said "can I help... the next customer?" With nasty attitude , I let it go. Then the cashier at the front didn't greet me, I was the one who said hello didn't get a reply. Didn't tell me the price, I had to ask him if I was good to pay, all he said was "uhm". Gave me my receipt and didn't say thank you, if you're having a bad day, stay your ass at home, don't ruin other peoples days. read more

If you are elderly, I would recommend avoiding this establishment to spare yourself from potential discrimination. I observed my mother being unjustly treated by a hispanic woman with blonde hair at the front cash register while my mother was attempting to navigate the ATM for her purchases. This employee appeared upset that my mother was taking her time and never once offered assistance; instead, she seemed to be glaring at her with daggers coming out her eyes, never once gracing us with a smile or offering help. When I inquired if we could have a bag, she entirely disregarded my request or at least turned to look at me, prompting me to elevate my voice as I pondered whether she might have a hearing impairment or another disability which could explain her behavior. However, she retorted sharply, claiming she had heard me the first time and that there was no need for me to raise my voice. I then questioned her as to why she had not acknowledged me, to which she coldly replied that she was planning to attend to it shortly. She continued her confrontational tone, even in the presence of her manager, Vanessa. Ironically, rather than instructing her employee to deescalate the situation, Vanessa never once tried speaking to her and advised me instead to calm down followed by her worker telling me BYE with a happy high pich tone, towards which caused me to lower down to her level and be vulgar like her. I will be contacting headquarters to make sure another of our seniors is not treated this way. This person should be in the back mopping the floors away from customers. read more

Being that it was my first time here I immediately said yes and the lady led me to find all I needed. I work right down the street walking distance so I will definitely be back. While shopping in Walgreens Artesia earlier, I noticed a worker not wearing his mask properly. He was wearing the whole mask under his mouth. It defeats the purpose of wearing it. So I asked him to wear it properly. He said OK but continue to work. So i asked again, are you the manager or should I be calling the manager? He said I'll wear it then started to walk away from me. If there is someone here that can correct this store. Please help. Very disappointed with pharmacy service. I have been a customer with multiple prescriptions for over 7 years. I ordered my prednisone around Dec 21 and I was given a partial fill on Dec 22, a 5 day supply. I told the girl helping me that it is only for 5 days and if I come back will they have my order within those 5 days. She said no problem as prednisone 1 mg is very common. I come back on January 2, as you still did not have it on the 27th and then I am told that at 5:15 my order still is not ready and to go to the back of the drive through line. My leuflonimide is also not ready and MAYBE it will be in in a couple of days. I have been using these drugs for a long time, why doesn't Walgreens have an adequate supply? Why would a common drug like prednisone take so long to get and why would you run out and then expect the customer to understand that the Holidays affects the order? I was in business and we knew the holidays are a challenge. We would stock up so we could take care of our customers. Walgreens should think out of their paradigm box and stock up for the Holidays. Another solution is to allow customers to replenish their drugs a few days earlier this solution would solve two issues. One when I try to order as I fill my weekly supply, I could order it and have it mailed since it can take 5 to 7 days to get it and if you were short, I would have 3 or 4 extra days to get it, we shouldn't have to go without because of the Holidays. The girl today that had me go around to the back of the line just wanted to get rid of me and not take my suggestions seriously. Very poor customer service and she would not even look up my Singular card that Walgreens sent me to see if it was cheaper than my insurance. read more

I came for photo services and the gal who helped me went out of her way to make sure that the monitor worked properly for me and that my pictures would be the right size and selections would be on point. It's either filed under the wrong name or lost, today the order was still in the computer and I had to wait for it to print when this is supposed to be (per the notification) READY FOR PICK UP! Put in a prescription and she said, "let me check that it's in stock." She comes back and says, you can wait 20 minutes or come back later today and says she has to keep my prescription paper. I came back later, waited in line only to be told that it was out of stock. Two days later I am back to get it and still have to wait even longer to get it filled. What did they do all this time and why wouldn't they tell me up front that it wasn't in stock so I could have gone somewhere else rather than suffer through this toothache for these few days. read more

I don't know why this place has such low reviews. Although it seems there is one cashier, the line runs quickly and the workers are always friendly. I am finally reviewing this place because if my experience with the photo department. I seem to use them a lot when I am in a pinch and love the online system. The online pics literally take 15 minutes. I've also used the amazon fedex thing and that was smooth too. I came here for passport photos and Laura was so sweet to my 3 boys. Passport pics are little more pricy but worth it not to get yelled at like other places near here. read more

24 hour location. Is it just me or are there a lot of odd birds that frequent places like this? Pre-Valentine week and they had chocolates and teddy bears galore. I HAD to return to this store because the tube of medication I had purchased (In a box) was EMPTY! Whaaaaaddaaaheeecckk! Next time, I will check all packages before leaving! Thankfully they accepted the return for the empty box and replaced it with no hassle. That's the only reason they got 2 stars instead of one. I overheard two young ladies asking to use a restroom, only to be told: "Oh it's closed for the night!" What! Wait, is that even legal? I thought public or places of business are required to have a restroom, if not for the public, at least for the employees! I thought that very odd and also rude as far as customer service goes. (Is it a policy because my son had a similar experience at another Walgreens another late night. If it is that should be clearly POSTED somewhere). The cash register person on the night I was there seemed to be manned by someone who seems entirely unfamiliar with the use of advertised coupons from their own flyer. Came here for some photos for pick up. It was a standard Walgreens with plenty of parking. Apparently I came in at the wrong time when they were training a new manager and short staffed. It took a long time too pick up my photos around 30 min since initially there was no one at the photo center then they couldn't find my photos or reprint the label to pay. In the end, they found the photos after the whole debacle. I was quite upset and wrote an honest response on the survey listed on the receipt. Another admin called and offered compensation for the photos and explained the situation. I usually only use Walgreens for photos since I find the products a tad bit pricey compared to other retailers but now I may be back for the photos. Some of the staff is very friendly and know what they are doing. read more

I made an appointment for covid vaccine 3 weeks ago after the first vaccine which was by appointment as well. I planned it according to the needs and schedule of my family. My gripe is that I waited 42 minutes to get vaccination. Persons without an appointment (walk ins) were taken before me. Pharmacy worker deemed overwhelmed and busy and said they are taking walk ins in addition to me. ????? Not appreciated. I will not be making appointments at this site anymore. I'm beyond disappointed with this location for many reasons but today was it for me! I bought a Walgreens brand heating pad that didn't get hot. Being a senior citizen who has to rely on rides, I went to return it. Even though Walgreens is printed on the pad, seeing that it is brand new, I was told I couldn't return it without the box. If I kept the packaging from everything purchased I would be considered a hoarder. I will not patronize Walgreens ever again. No wonder this location has only 2 stars. The store is dirty and rundown. ZERO STARS! I live in walking distance and went to grab deodorant. I was dressed neatly and had my $300 bag on my shoulder along with my iPhone in my hand with the headset connected and in my ears. I grabbed the deodorant and wanted to check the top to make sure it's sealed so I placed my cell phone in my bag but the headset still connected to my ears when out of no where came a lady in my face named Alaina and she rudely ask "Did you just put something in your bag?" I responded "I sure did so call the police!" My son is a cop so I find this silly. It was my phone and I am over 50 so why would you think I am stealing???? I went to the cashier and dumped my bag and told her what happened and I asked her do you see anything in this bag that belongs to Walgreens? Obviously not. My experience getting a flu shot at the Walgreens pharmacy was fantastic. They helped me tremendously when I wasn't too sure if they'd take my insurance. Pharmacist and her assistant were very welcoming and followed all proper covid measures. I will return to them for my flu shot next year. read more

At the parking lot there was someone who said they lost their mother and was stranded so she was asking for money. Shopping carts can't leave the yellow boundary past the parking lot. I was here to buy chocolate bars and look at birthday cards. In addition to Ghirardelli, they have Green & Black, Lindt, and Milka. There's dark chocolate Chex mix by the register. I couldn't find lip balm. Its $0.10 cheaper to order photos online then pick up the prints. My mother had photographs printed off her memory card at the kiosk but she was unhappy with how they came out with artifacts around faces. Someone took a passport picture while we were at the kiosk so I had to get out of the chair so I wouldn't block the shot (the white background screen is suspended between the two kiosks). The photo books only have 12 pages. read more

OMG, went to the drive up to drop off a prescription. They told me to it would be ready in about 20 min. FM later get a text saying it would be delayed a short while. 30 min later I go inside to see whats up and asked about the text. The girl said not to worry about it, it would be ready FM. I am thinking cool. As Iam waiting, two separate incidents with two older customers 65 yr + are yelling and clearly pissed at them. I dont know what happened but Iam laughing inside, thinking these people are old and cantankerous. Well 20-30 minutes click by and Iam watching and getting a little pissed. The girls behind the counter are so un organized and seem to be in above their heads. I motion to the girl who told me it was ready and she just shakes her head and acknowledges me. 15 min later she tells me to get back in line so I can pay. So 20 min turned out to be over an hour. I went to return air mattress . The moment I reached to a cashier, another cashier from across stated you cannot return clearance item. The mattress was never on clearance & it was never opened. I had a receipt and a manager was called in to help. However his approach, his demeanor and communication was very unprofessional towards me. He informed me that the item was past 30 days and offered store credit. I accepted the offer but I asked him if there is a possibility to get the cash, his answer was "it is only store credit. Do you want it or no". I was amazed by his rude behavior and his illogical question. This rude behavior by the cashier and the manager seemed they are very entitled to their approach towards me. I wish Walgreens or the owner of this franchise does a follow up on this store and change its business with the people it supposedly serve. I can provide the cashier and manager's name upon request by Walgreens or the owner; hoping the owner is not the manager himself. read more
