It's my go to Walmart! I spend way too much in this store but there prices are always so competitive it comes to toiletries and other things that I need from my home. The store is very large, but I've come to know where things are, which makes it so much easier when it when I need to stop and pick up things. I've also done the service where they bring things to your car after you paid for it and they're always very quick and efficient. No complaints, I just wish they cleaned the bathroom more often. HORRIBLE!!! Absolutely the rudest "manager" I have ever talked to! Store manager isn't in for two days???? How do you not have a store manager on duty for a store of this size? I was trying to make a purchase on a company credit card (after spending over an hour shopping) that was used yesterday AND just a few hours ago at a large retailer. The pin would not go through and they basically refused to try to run credit or help me in any way at the customer service desk. I refuse to do my personal shopping here and wish I never had to step foot in this store again. Also would not hold the items so that I could come back tomorrow. read more

After shopping at Walmart, which in 2024 I spent a total of $2912 total in pick up so I consider myself a loyal customer because they are all go to... I made a mistake of going to the one on Stonebrook so get ready for my story. I'm walking out after checking out with my daughter and men bring me to the side and tell me they need me to come in our room because there's something in my jacket and they need to go through my items... OK, I'm confused at this point because I have receipt... Well, I guess Collins had put something on my big huge fluffy jacket that I didn't even realize a pack of forks and spoons which totaled less than five dollars. Yes, I was embarrassed however, I still wasn't clear why I was there. They wouldn't tell my husband where I was so he was freaking out running around Walmart thinking we were kidnapped, I let them know my son was home alone waiting for us to get groceries. They could give a shit. And I had just had oral surgery a couple days ago and needed to get some water in my mouth. I could feel a dry socket coming wouldn't even look at me. If y'all could see the videos I took you would be disgusted. Anyways, All of a sudden, I've scanned things twice and not even scan the correct things and I'm getting a ticket for $30... After I just spent $64 at the register??? They said I knew what I was doing, When I tell you, I have never felt more like I was in a dream or a second universe because who treats humans like us? Who locks a human up with their child in a room with no doors, Tons of security cameras, no fresh air no water for over an hour... Convincing me I have stolen $30 from them in goods??? My lawyer has the information now I have taken multiple videos. I have never been Felt so disrespected and betrayed by the people who are supposed to take care of us... OFFICER J TUTT with Frisco police, came in 20 minutes into the interrogation all 4 foot. Nothing of him and thought he was the man telling me what was what in front of my seven-year-old daughter even though I told him I will pay for everything right now I would never intention Steal if I would, I just walked out the store..... He told me I was to be seen and not heard, the officers who were sworn to protect us, says this to my face while I'm bawling. At the end of the day, they did nothing for me. They could care less if I was feeling OK if my daughter was scared. Then walked me out escorted me, handed me a $30 ticket and told me I couldn't come back to that Walmart for a year. I thought I had a winner here. I really did. I've been changing the oil in my cars here for a looong time and bringing my used oil and filters to this Wally-mart. I also buy most of my fresh oil and filters here, but that's another topic. I arrived at 10 minutes to closing of the auto department and got a guy to accept my 10 quarts of dirty oil and 2 messy filters with no problem. No questions asked, either. He emptied it and returned it to me. Friendly, too. He liked my oil bucket and we discussed it a little. It's really a great oil change bucket. Deep enough to hold a couple of gallons of oil, with a strainer insert for draining filters. The lid is like a 10 gallon hat, too. Turn it over and use it to catch the oil you drain and then pour it into the bucket and then use it as a bucket cover. I was glad to get it emptied because I needed to change the oil in my pickup and there wasn't enough room left for another 6 quarts. Guess I should have planned ahead. I did my oil change without mishaps or even a tiny spill, honest. Today, I was doing errands and decided to be proactive, turning in this oil and filter. So, I pulled up to the auto center and met a young fellow who wanted to know why I was there. He instructed me to go inside and sign the oil disposal log book, like I didn't know the procedure. Then, he met me around back, where the oil tank is kept locked up. He opened it up, looked at my oil bucket and then looked at me. He told me to empty it myself, because he couldn't do it. I tried using my statement that has never failed, "I tried that once and made a really big mess of pouring it in that little hole." He said he still couldn't do it. I suggested that he ask one of the real men in the auto center and he said they aren't allowed to either. Yeah, right. Did I mention that both times I encountered this boy, he was wearing his face mask below his chin. That didn't do either of us any good. This kid ruined a perfectly good review. 12/26/24, 10 am, Store #426, The Colony. At about 9:45 am it started to sprinkle. The parking lot was only about 30% full. As I entered the Store, there were No shopping carts! I have never seen this before. I asked to speak to a manager. A person with a blue vest was pointed out to me, being a manager. When I told him there were No carts, he said he was not sending anyone out into the rain. It had not been raining for the 12+ previous hours, it had just started. The store was not that busy. THEY DONT PICK UP THE PHONE EVER!! so pissed because I usually order delivery with Walmart. This time they had a delay for 2 DAYS! Then the customer service said it takes another 24hrs to find a driver, I finally went there and I couldn't even get the stuff I paid for, so horrible if your doing online business with these nasty people. When I go to check out I am only 67 cents short. The lady refused to help me out, even after I went to my car to look for more change. I'm young and I dont make a lot of money. I would give a 0 star but not an option - I don't work here or get employee discounts. I am NOT using self checkout especially since they have a history of falsely accusing folks of shoplifting. I was going to get a creosote log at this Walmart but they had only self checkout so I left without making a purchase. Do not go to this location. They keep the merchandise under lock and key. Try to request help and they look away. I tried to buy something and I had to go to the customer service desk to get them to unlock the case. Even then, they refused to do so. They even called security on me and accused me of harassing the staff just for trying to request help! Already frustrated beyond return, I walked out leaving a cart full of unpurchaced items. Back in 2019, I tried to purchase a light bulb and it too was locked away. When I requested help, they just told me to use the politically correct light bulbs. It's an okay walmart as long as you aren't going for their garden center. They have signs for it, but there is no garden center. They only have a few aisles of garden related things, but there are no plants, few pots, and nothing that warrants having signs for a garden section. The parking lot was blocked off in certain areas for their Drive-in deal which made the parking lot a mess to get out of. They only have one entrance open, but they aren't limiting the amount of people or anything, so it's really just a pain. There were about 5 employees standing at that one entrance when there was no need for that many to be there. read more

Consistently terrible customer service. If I can find an employee, they are nice enough. It's mostly the lack of anyone willing or even able to offer help. I went on a 15 year boycott of Walmart. Mainly because the parking lots are full of non-drivers behind the wheel of oversized killing machines and I didn't want to be in a line of 100 people waiting for one of the 2 cashiers. Well I broke my boycott and went to the Walmart in TC. The parking lot is still a scary place but my experience at the store went surprisingly well. I was quickly able to find a last minute baby shower gift and all the wrapping paper at a very reasonable price. What tipped them to the 4 stars is their deli. I was able to pick up great pre-made salads and pre-cut fruit at such a reasonable price. For less than $5, I had a Thai chicken mango salad with peanut sauce that was big enough for two servings. These pre-made salads make it easy to bring lunch to work for the week. It's hard trying to find healthy lunch options when your work day gets hectic. These salads are perfect. They have other quick lunch options: wraps, sandwiches, sushi rolls, etc. that are under $3. When I compare price and quality with other local grocery stores, Walmart wins. Checking out has improved a lot in the last 15 years. No wait time even on a Sunday, and plenty of self check outs. I wouldn't shop here for meat or seafood but for picking up lunch items, they are A-Ok. read more

Went on Thursday last week. Understanding the weather, I found customer service closed. After asking several employees about a return , Cora finally showed up as the Mgr on duty. Said it was closed and that was it. When I ask about help, she said no. When I inquired about employees without name badges or Walmart attire, she responded," so what". Okay... I hate Wally World. I really do. They kill local business and it's usually a total cluster. I NEVER shop here. I came by this location for two reasons: to get a gift card for someone; and to exchange a toy someone got my son. The exchange process was painless and straightforward. They had plenty of other monster trucks for him to pick, since the gift was one he already had. The store was clean, employees were friendly and numerous, and there were more than enough cashiers and lanes open. Point of note: I always assume Wally World is the cheapest. I normally shop at Target and Kroger since I hate this place, and I noted that many prices on Legos were the same as Target. Interesting. This is where I go to shop for groceries or toiletry items. There's one guy that's near the produce area who greets me when I see him (I wish I knew his name- he is so sweet). Produce is as fresh as can be (I've seen better). I am able to buy everything I need on my shopping list. Everything is fairly organized so nothing is out of order. If I ever need help finding anything, then their staff is ready to assist and answer my questions. They do have younger cashiers at the front and some of them have a difficult time with helping out the customers when the self check-outs aren't working (not their fault- they probably need more training). Overall, I don't have anything negative to say about this Walmart. I've been to much worse and this is one of the better ones. read more

Coke products are old, not fizzy and flat tasting. Diet Coke and Regular Coke. Such a pain to return. Return lines open late and are long when they finally do open. Also the makeup section had missing products from the boxes. The fruit is not fresh. It looks good then molds the next day. Very few selections in products unless you want Walmart brand only. Hair color selections are always low on number of boxes. People need more then one box with long hair. Stock more..... read more

Terrible Walmart, My boyfriend went to get our oil changed and waited in line for 30 minutes. They took our car back to change the oil, then a few moments later came back and told him that they could not take the oil cap off and we needed to take the car to a mechanic to get the oil cap removed. Never in my life have a heard of something so stupid. He went up the street to fast 5 and they changed the oil no problem. They will consistently tell you that it is coming soon, but at the end of the day it will not be filled, and they will tell you 'come back tomorrow'. ??? Well, it's Walmart. This location is as good as any other Walmart can be. At the end of the day, they staff unfriendly and rude employees that care very little about the customer experience. The inside of the store is usually in disarray and not clean. It's always hot for some reason, and honestly, just kind of yuck overall.
