I use to like going to this Kroger because it was more convenient from where I live and also bigger than the one on old Denton Rd. It's nice I guess for an average experience shopping but the employees that man the seafood and deli section aren't helpful at all. Especially the seafood section guy with the goatee I think. He acted like I was bothering him and became very passive aggressive when I was asking about the cuts of the salmon and pricing. I pointed at the sign that said $10/per Ib and he passive aggressively gave me 2 pounds for $21 with a passive aggressive smile knowing he knew what I meant. All bagged up. When I got to the register, I sent it back. I don't like doing that, but I also don't like anyone passive aggressive either and thinking they're going to get over on me. Overall, nice for quick pick up items, but actually interacting with the employees? No. I've only had one good interaction with an employee there who seemed happy about his job. Customer service is a joke. And I'm talking about Customer Service for all of Kroger, not the specific store I used to shop. I am a senior and have been using their delivery service. Most of the time, it's good but the quality is lacking. You have the choice to "request a refund" after the delivery. Quality guaranteed. Whoever has been choosing my groceries has no clue what quality is. Most of the time, my packaged fruit is moldy, chips or bread underneath canned foods, meat that is supposed to be sealed is opened or items have opened up in the bottom of bags. So, I request refunds. I received an email saying that I would not be receiving any more refunds. How can shopping at Kroger for many years turn into this when I depend on their delivery service as a senior? Anyway, can't wait for HEB to open near us Carrollton. In the meantime, I'll shop elsewhere. If you're a senior, can't go to the market, and depend on delivery.....DON'T USE KROGER'S! I am writing this review to share a serious safety and cleanliness concern at this location. On Sunday, August 23, at approximately 8:30 PM, I saw a rat inside the store in the bread aisle. I immediately notified an employee about the situation so it could be handled. Finding a pest in the bread section--where food is openly displayed and packaged--is highly concerning and completely unacceptable. Proper sanitation and pest control must be an absolute priority for a grocery store. I hope management takes this report seriously and addresses the issue immediately to ensure a safe, hygienic shopping environment. read more

Usually there is no issue here. I will say that I am really disappointed. They moved the box for the wipes for the carts. When I first walk in, they have now moved it to being almost out of the way. -not that it was in the way to begin with- in a tucked in little corner. It makes it extremely difficult to actually grab the cart wipes while I'm also trying to wrestle a toddler which presumably that is part of why you have the cart wipes for us to use before we put our children inside the carts that everyone else touches. And to stop the spread of things like the flu and Covid. That is not how the other entryway for this particular Kroger is set up. The other one is in a very easily accessible space directly next to the carts. I even made a comment to the manager when she was trying to decide if she should set it up to the left of the cart or the right of the carts and I very pointedly said it is much easier when this is set up to the left of the carts Because it makes it easier for parents who are working with their children to access them. She directly ignored my suggestion, which is in her right as the manager of that store. But in addition to that during the holiday season when they had a display where this is currently at, they did have the cart wipes next to the carts on the left-hand side, where she debated putting it, where I suggested she put it. And I saw it be used quite a bit during the holiday season, but now that there are no longer a display that is required to be set up in the area that she initially wanted it at. It is back to the right hand side and makes it extremely difficult to access. Additionally, to that we eat quite a bit of fruit in our household. The last time I found it, I was tired of seeing mold on the strawberries the blueberries the blackberries I'm tired of the fruit itself, simply not lasting for more than two days. So at this point, I'm just picking up anything that I see that has mold on it and taking it up to the customer service desk to explain that this has mold on it to whoever is at the desk. It's disgusting and gross and honestly, those mold spores spread inside those refrigerator boxes that they are sitting in. So if one group of the strawberries has it those mold ports have already spread to the other ones because that's how that spreads. It makes it a very unreliable place for produce. read more

I've been going to this Kroger once a week for about six years, and sure, we've had our "Kroger moments." I never complained because I get it -- dealing with customers all day isn't easy, and I always tried to play the empathy card. But I'm officially done with the Lewisville location. I'll be driving a little farther to the Kroger in Plano near the DTW from now on. That store actually looks like someone runs it with purpose. My wife picked up my weekend beer on Thursday along with our weekly groceries, thinking she grabbed the 16 oz cans. Somehow, the price for a Miller 12‑pack of 12 oz was the same as the 12‑pack of 16 oz this week. More BS, I guess. I called to swap it, and was told, "All alcohol sales are final." Cool. Good talk.Also, at this location you have to check expiration dates and inspect all salads, fruits, and veggies.So yeah -- see ya never again, "manager" Don Santos. I never really give reviews but I rate the Kroger gas station a 1 star because the employee Eric was extremely rude he was super passive aggressive first when I tried to scan my Kroger point for the gas he was rude saying it can't scan because of the color contrast so I pulled up another one and he just scanned it and looked at me like if I was dumb or something then proceeded to not explain that when you buy a lotto ticket it has to be with a card that has a pin he just kept saying it's you can't pay with a credit card which I wasn't it was a debit card only reason why the issue got resolved was because another employee stepped in to clarify but that guy super rude it's not fault you don't like your job! I just simply wanted a ticket and gas I don't expect excellent service but I don't want to be treated that way especially when I shop at Kroger every week and get Kroger gas every week! read more

This is the story of how one single cashier has led me to stop shopping at Kroger. I have shopped at this Kroger since it opened. Over the past decade, I am sure I have spent well over $10,000 at this location. One cashier has ended that. I have had multiple issues with her over the past few years. Unfortunately, even exclusively using the self check-out stations, I am forced to interact with her. I always walk away from every interaction with her feeling annoyed. However, this past week was the straw that broke the camel's back and it was all over 60 cents. Among my purchases this week were four bottles of Gatorade. I had two separate coupons for "60 cents off TWO bottles of Gatorade." Again... I was purchasing a total of FOUR. Per this cashier (who seems to make up her own policies), I was only allowed to use ONE coupon. Four bottles of Gatorade.... two coupons for "60 cents off two Gatorade," but according to her, I am only allowed to use one of the coupons. I fail to believe this is Kroger's policy but it, instead, is the policy of this young women. There are no shortage of grocery store chains in this area... I will have no problem finding another chain. As I said, this was not the only incident with this young lady, but it will be the last as my Kroger days are over. read more

You know, an update is in order. No no, I don't mean to lavish praise on the curbside mess that I completely ripped on in my last review. I mean now that I'm all vaxxed and boostered up and I'm back to regular indoor shopping, this Kroger doesn't suck like it did when we were almost always curbsiding it during the worst of covid hell. It's still a huge store with tons of selection and legitimately competitive prices on the non-grocery stuff, which I would not expect. The toy section is respectable. If I don't want to hit Kroger for groceries and Target for other stuff, I can usually get away with it all at Kroger. Usually. Oh, and booze prices are consistently better than at Target, although Specs wins over both of them. The pharmacy doesn't suck, so that's another plus. Customer service is good, although the line is frequently long and/or slow. Plenty of parking. Lots of self checkout areas - although I DO wish grocery stores still had more REAL people on NORMAL grocery lanes so I don't feel compelled to self checkout when I have too much stuff to self checkout... but the oldschool checkout lanes' lines are so looooong... If you do want to curbside, go across the street to Aldi, the best curbside around *but* certainly more limited selection. If you don't want to curbside and want more selection, this Kroger Marketplace - AKA the Ultra Mega Kroger (UMK) - is an excellent choice. Last but not least, buying groceries gets you discounts on gas at the adjacent Kroger gas (Krogas, I calls it) station. #winning read more

I wish they had the cheese dip that I enjoy very much at this location sadly they do not. You can find pretty much basic grocery items and house hold cleaning supplies etc. Fruits and veggies are organized and look in good condition but why don't they sell my cheese dip. read more

The store at Fledderjohn Rd. in Charleston, WV has the worst customer service I have ever experienced anywhere. Most of the people working there are surly and rude and act as if they hate their jobs. I alternate between this Kroger and the one over in Plano at Park and DNT, but I see where both of them have changed their hours this week. They now close at 11:00 PM instead of 12:00 AM (or 1:00 AM on Saturday night/Sunday mornings.) That's pretty lame for people who may need to make a late night beer or wine run. For years Kroger stood out from the other grocery stores for staying open later, but now they've caved in and became just like the others in this regard. Sad. read more

This time there were 6 people at registers and 19 people in line. There were at least ten employees walking around and the second set of self checkout was closed. This has to be the coolest Kroger in the DFW metroplex! I've always seen this one driving down 121 and knew there was a reason for me wanting to stop in. They have just about everything from clothes, to jewelry, a wide variety of electronics, garden and home stuff, and beauty products which I was able to find products not available in other stores. Their produce was fresh and they had really good deals on steaks so I was able to get a few of those. All in all a really cool supermarket/clothing store that is a one stop shop for me! The Kroger customer service has always been great for me. The staff are very helpful, know what they're doing, and help you get whatever errands done quick. I appreciate that the place is run by friendly and personable staff members as opposed to an eye-rolling, sarcastic teenager. My husband and I come here about 3x a week and we've never had trouble. We are also really big couponers and have never had an issue with them accepting our paper coupons! So, that's a huuuuge plus! read more

Every time I come here the employees are always super helpful, kind, respectful and so hard working. It's always super clean here and they always have fresh produce and meats. The deals here are always so good I usually can find most items here cheaper and better quality than anywhere else. What I love the most is how this store really does not discriminate and gives equal opportunity to everyone. No matter your race, if your disabled, what age, everyone is given an equal chance here and everyone who works here is so patient with each other. On a clear night I drove here for a larger available selection than my local Kroger's. I spent over an hour filling my cart on a late night run to prep for a barbecue tomorrow. In the middle of checking out on self-checkout (because why have any cashiers at the 10+ cashier registers) then they have an electrical blip that causes a millisecond power outage, and the self-checkout machines have frozen. After waiting 5 minutes with no end in sight, I just left my groceries in the cart/checkout bags. So now I have to go to another store and spend another 45-60 minutes doing that shopping routine all over again, because the manager of this Kroger's doesn't seem to believe in contingency planning. read more

The Kroger itself is okay it's very clean and well kept it has all kinds of things so for that ill give it two stars. My real issue is with the pharmacy. Every time I have gotten prescriptions sent over, this location either never receives them or never updates their systems with them in a timely manor and i have to continually contact my doctors and then the pharmacy to get my prescriptions filled, all while pushing back the dates on when I can get and start taking much needed medication. I wanted to like this place because it was very convenient to where I live and pricing was often cheaper then other pharmacies. But I cannot keep playing phone tag for all my medications. read more

Placed online pick up order this morning at 11am for a 4p to 5p I recv a call from the floral dept saying my order time has been pushed back to six pm. I asked the lady if she could do five because i had another engagement at six and I actually needed something from the order. She said i could call up again at five and check to see if its ready but honestly "I wouldn't count on it, they had everyone call out sick and they dont have anyone to pull the order". I called customer service who called the store to negotiate the 5pm and they told her that it has now been pushed back to next day. So i speak to the customer service supervisor and we call the store mngr. He is less than helpful and keeps saying they have no resources. Doesn't own the problem or offer any solutions for the issue. While we were speaking the customer service supervisor put us on hold on the 3way call so we had hold music blasting in our ear. I couldnt make any sense of what we just discussed except that it wasn't going to be ready today and pretty much sucks to be you. I am very disappointed and actually pretty upset about this lack of communication and even sense of urgency to own the issue. My recommendation is dont use the pick up service here. Even if you get a slot with confirmation and everything there is absolutely guarantee that your order will be fullfilled. You will be in my position and have time you could have been using for sunday night now running around to get groceries at another store. Keep in mind its now too late for even any competitor's to get my order as Kroger has run out the clock. Def NOT A RECOMMENDATION read more

I have a love/hate relationship with this Kroger. They have good prices and do have good items from grocery to home decor/ seasonal which i loooovee. They could take all my money... they even have a freakin jewelry store in here. Not sure if anyone shops at it but it's there if you need it. The only thing is every time i come in here all the items are very low stock! Shelves are empty and un-filled. I have been in at a variety of different times and days and it's usually the same situation. read more

This Kroger needs to shut down I've tried coming at different times since it's so close by from where I live thinking maybe it was the time or the day but no . The workers are so young and careless on their phones, cursing at each other, wondering when their breaks are coming up ,no lines open mainly just check yourself out the produce is absolutely disgusting if there is some some there's Nats and flies all over them. The entry alone has grasshoppers singing around, never have good selection on flower. I just don't get it I really don't . It seems they completely forgot to check on this and a couple other Kroger stores around the area. I immediately turn around and my husband has experienced the same . Today (09/02/18), I needed a couple of items. The produce section was well stocked and had the items I needed in stock, beautiful poblano peppers. The cheese section was being stocked by a nice gentleman and the Mexican cheese I needed was in stock. The store was clean and all personnel were pleasant. Over at Starbucks, I had my first pumpkin spice latte, the ladies there were also pleasant. My coffee is delicious! Nice variety of fresh produce, lots of employees available and willing to assist customers. The deli employees were professional and kind - one lady made me a few packs of pulled chicken. I did not appreciate finding expired foods or sell, I handed employee juice that expired on May 16, 2018 - today is June 3, 2018...unacceptable! read more

I'm trying to locate a favorite grocery store after moving to the area. The self-checkout is annoying here. Constantly saying an item needs to be placed that has already been placed and it locks up so you have to wait every time it does this for a worker. I use self-checkout everywhere I can and this one is the most annoying. I like buying store-brand over name brand for most items but it seems like this Kroger makes it purposefully difficult to find items that aren't their own brand. Instead of having the exact same product next to each other like other stores do, they have their store-brand in the prominent ideal location (which is perfectly fine) but separately and far away they'll have the name brand if they have it at all. Often, the location of the name-brand is nonsensical. It makes shopping frustrating. Dairy specifically is annoying. Selection is low (lack of different quantities and brands) and stock is low. Generally, the layout of the store doesn't make sense to me but I am still relatively new to this store. Other stores are much more intuitive for me and don't take long at all to map out and memorize for the typical visit. I still struggle with this one after months of visiting. I end up going down every aisle instead of knowing exactly where to go. Just adds extra time to my visits. This store has a pretty amazing and unique holiday section. Some of the cooler Halloween decorations and items I bought were from this store. Their Christmas stuff is just as cute and unique. I don't know if I'll return to this store anymore. I tried to learn it and figure out the trick to these self check-out machines but I think I'll move on to a different store. read more

I needed to return an item, but guest services was closed. I walked up to Gerald, who was assisting the self-checkout area, and he was very helpful. This location seems slightly short handed because Gerald called for help multiple times over the intercom and no one ever came over a period of about 10-15 minutes. He ended up helping me with the return himself, while running around helping people in the self checkout area. He seems like a very diligent and hard worker and this location is lucky to have him as an employee! read more

Talk about a first impression!!! GOOOOOO Kroger!!! I knew this place was going to be special when we pulled up and they had a drive thru pharmacy and a jeweler. Sounds crazy but this Kroger is trying to be a one stop shop. You can get an order of fresh sushi, wine, some bath soap and an engagement ring all in one spot!! Whoop Whoop! It was Taco Tuesday so we had to grab some ground chuck from the meat market and tortillas. If you have not had the homemade tortillas that Kroger make you are missing out. They are freakin' awesome! At the meat market we spoke with Erik and he was really helpful and so sweet. I noticed the fish was very fresh and the crabs that were on sale did not have all that ice on them. Although we went to Kroger in the early evening all the meat looked like it was just cut from the butcher. I really appreciated that because if you are going to pay a little more for meat out of the package you definitely want it to be fresh. Overall the store is huge with many different options of products. The vegetables and the fruit areas are clean and there were a lot of good looking veggies and fruits. There is a natural food section which takes up a section in the store. The back of the store is dedicated to your nonfood items. There are plenty of checkout lines with actual employees in them to help you get in and out of the store. This is definitely by far my favorite Kroger. read more

Inconvenience: Kroger hides tiny yellow devices behind the tags of hats so that thieves don't see it (neither do paying customers). Bad for thieves but even worse for paying customers because you pay for the item then you have to make a second trip to Kroger so that they can remove the yellow tag. Apparently, Inconveniencing customers is fine as long as you can deter the occasional hat thief. Also Kroger has the absolute worst and most finicky self check out Kiosks in the industry. Least user friendly checkout ever seen. Poor inventory management: Poor stocking and inventory control. Today they ran out of distilled water. Poor inventory control.
