Walmart employees are always so friendly and helpful. Self checkout is a little busy most of the time but full service checkout is usually available. Gas station at the entrance is great. Nice thing is, parking is a lot easier than places like Costco. Only negative is bushes at the end of the parking aisles are so large it is hard to see oncoming traffic when exiting the parking aisle. read more

Cliff notes version: I had two tubs of BIG laundry soap and a folding chair not bagged. (Everything else was in a bag). Of course I did self checkout....because all of your employees stand around doing nothing. As I'm walking out, TWO women step in front of my cart and ask to see my receipt. Amazing how they can do this but not ring folks up. They literally stood there watching me do their jobs. I said I don't have one. She replies "we need to see a paper receipt". I again, annoyed now, say I don't have one. It's digital. You offer that option at self checkout. She says "then why aren't your laundry soap and chair bagged". Well let's start with they are a) heavy and have handles and b) it's a literal FOLDING CHAIR that won't fit in a bag. She demands a paper receipt and I ask why I was allowed to get a digital one. She gives me an attitude and again demands a paper receipt. So I hand her my phone and the app, say here it's digital, and she doesn't even know how to pull up a receipt. Again, demands a paper one. At this point I'm HIGHLY pissed off, tell her to get away from me and I went to walk around her and out and she physically STEPPED in front of my cart to stop me. Literally used her hands and stopped my cart from the front. I looked at her and said "get your hands off my cart" and she pops off "just show us a receipt". So I pull out the paper receipt (because again, the store offers a digital and paper option) and she goes "was that so hard". So I said "what would have happened if I didn't have a paper receipt?" No response. Only a matter of time before you get sued. It's coming, based on the reviews from this store and the local article of how you just arrested two people mistakenly for shoplifting. read more

I went inside after being at the lake. I lost my shirt and my shoes. When I was walking in no body told me to not come in without a shirt. I went to go shop and I had an old man question me why I was without a shirt and got mad at me and called higher ups, then an undercover manage walked up to me said why are you in my store with only shorts, I told him I'm straight from the lake and he told me I need to leave and then called me a dick. I was just here and had to pick up some cheese for my wife at the deli. She wanted five thinly sliced slices of White American. Everything was going fine until they started to ring me up. The lady at the deli put the cheese on three different scales. All scales had the same price but for some reason she couldn't ring it up. She asked me if I wanted an extra slice. I said I did not. My wife only wants five at a time. The next thing I know, I saw them push some button and the price increased. It was minimal, but still an increase, and then they were able to sell it to me. I find this quite upsetting. If Wal-Mart has a problem with their technology, why should I pay more? It also left me thinking that if Wal-Mart will bend the rules and increase the price on me in small things, how do I know they won't do it on big things? Again, the price increase was minimal, but it's the principle behind it. If anyone should have been the one who lost in the deal, one would think it would not be the customer. This store needs help! The plastic section looked like something out of an Apocalypse movie. There was plastic everywhere and no lids for the 3 totes I needed. Walmart in Dawsonville, GA called main number 3 times to be connected for their auto care dept. Chose (0) for associate no answer for 2 minutes before hanging up. This is at 3 tries of calling in (at 706) 265-8787. Even when you don't select it automatically rings no answer again for 2 minutes oh wait someone finally answers. I was on hold twice auto care dept not answering 4 minutes then hung up!!! Tried main number same thing! electronic dept - no answer for 5 minutes automatically drops call! pick up dept - no answer. Call reroute to customer service no answer for. Some one answers. Requested to speak to a store manager explaining the situation. She helps me out puts me on hold and finally connected to the auto care dept. Auto Care didn't have my tire size in stock and was greatful to finally talk to an auto associate. I am always shop at this location but I've never had to call in until today and not happy I have to give a negative review! With this experience I will never shop at this location! I'll take my money and business some where else! I came there Wednesday 2/13/19 before 6pm to get 1 new tire about a quarter to 6pm. The lady associate was apologetic that there were full for the night but was able to help the customer in front of me to do her oil change. Already not a good impression not even trying to see what my size tire was and to schedule it. The WMT Store Manager was very rude about making a return for toys for our kids. She also said she was going to use her managerial powers to make it more difficult for us to return an item. I'm sure she was just having a bad day working the day after Thanksgiving, but you need to be able to check your emotions at the door when you're in that type of position. Not a good first impression! Store looks very nice according to my wife so I thought I'd call and order some baked good for my middle school class. First call I was on hold for 3 minutes and finally told they could not transfer the call (technical problem). Second call they transferred but it rang 25 times with no answer. Heads up everyone, worked at this Walmart since opening - almost 4 years ago. Regularly produce, deli, and dairy items are left ambient (room temperature) while waiting to be stocked - for multiple hours. Walmart's own protocols say such refigerated items can only be ambient for 20 minutes. Hope no one gets sick, but you all should know. read more

This Walmart is neat, clean and organized. But the people in the electronics are horrible. Especially when it comes to checking any inventory item. I have tried not only once, twice and in fact almost 20 visits and every time I ask them to search for an item, but their standard response is "sorry it not there" or "it was sold earlier today". To double check multiple incidents when I cross-checked with another employee it turned out that they lied. Their scanner showed the on had inventory, they won't show you but tell its zero. The same item checked with other department scanner shows multiple items. I suspect something fishy within the employees, they are holding the inventory for their personal benefits. I think the corporate should check their selling pattern. Do not again do not trust the electronics employees including the manager, she is the worst drama. read more

Went to get the twin bag Kingsford charcoal for $8.88. It was in the Ad that came out today. Ad started on the 24th and will run to the 8th. Today is the beginning of the 3rd day looks like of a two week Ad (events dates on last page which is the only dates I can find for the Ad). Let's just say they don't have what they are advertised. Deceptive advertising at it finest. No way should a place like Wal-Mart should be out of something at the beginning of an Ad run. When the same special runs at Lowe's during the holidays, they always have plenty. I got the run around when I even asked Wal-Mart about it. "We are out" "We don't carry everything in the Ad at every store" "Check with Lawn and Garden" "Check with the front of the store". If you are going to put a really good special on a product, how about making sure you have enough stock to make it past the first two days of a two week Ad. Wal-Mart will probably say it was an issue with the supplier and that Ads are produced several weeks in advance. It was your Ad though. read more

I am not sure how this supercenter has such low ratings? This Walmart is like...the Ritz Carlton of Walmarts. I have never been to a Walmart quite so well kept...ever. The staff here goes OUT OF THEIR WAY to ask you if you need help (seriously, last visit I had 4...FOUR employees in 30 minutes ask if they could help me with anything. I thought I was in the twilight zone). Their produce is always well stocked...their baby section always has the essentials I need...and if on the rare occasion I can't find something, there is ALWAYS someone within a 10 second radius willing to help me. Heck, last week the credit card machine was down when I was in, so they kept making announcements every 2-3 minutes to ensure shoppers were aware and not inconvenienced. But in addition, they had people stationed at the check outs and up and down aisles making sure we, often distracted shoppers, were aware...in person! There are always people manning the registers (even if it's only 2-3) meaning I have the option to check out with a human or use self checkout. It's great. Honestly. The parking lot is well lit. There is a gas station right out front. The cart man is always somehow right behind me as I load the last of my groceries into the car. I feel like this Walmart should be the Walmart poster child. I mean...maybe I am enamored because I moved from an area that housed what was quite possibly the scariest Walmart in America. However...I love it. I was never a "Walmart woman" before...but I am now! Thank you, whoever manages this Walmart, and thank you to all of your employees! You are doing a fantastic job!!! read more

Great store. It is nice that the store is new because it is always clean. The staff is great and I have been enough times that now they recognize me and speak to me. Wow. The store is convenient, great for grocery pickup and a gas station and and Burger King are in the parking lot..LOL...I love this store. read more
