propane exchange ripped me off. I had a tank that was about 10 years old and exchanged it b/c it was too old to fill. Their "automated" propane service gave me a tank that was over 18 years old. This tank is beyond the date where it should be filled. I can not refill it. read more

Has been going downhill for a while. Yesterday was a new low. Bought pool salt. One bag I discovered after purchase had a hole and had been taped up vs removed from the shelf. Cashier had street clothes - no blue uniform or even a name tag. He was having a casual conversation while I was waiting in line. Seems there is no longer a standard they are trying to meet. We asked an associate to help with the locked up perfume. From what we tracked we waited 20 minutes. It's upsetting that we had to wait that long just for a bottle of perfume. We found one of the managers and their attitude towards us was a little hostile or aggressive. And then we were told they would be up in a minute and we finally got our stuff. read more

Will use again! I have had two HORRIBLE experiences with other wal Mart stores in my area. Specifically, the tire center. I came on my way to work to get waters for my office and asked two women employees if they thought I would have the same issue at this location. They assured me I would not, led me to Quentin who made sure they had my tires and he got my tires put on within an hour. It was amazing. The staff was so helpful and kind! I will be driving further for better service going forward! This will be "my Walmart" from no on. I really cant say enough good things. Thank you to everyone who made this a smooth and great process! Walmart as a whole can go the way of K-Mart for all I care. This Walmart refused my return, despite the online return process giving me a date a month out to return. I ORDERED 8 PAIR OF SOLAR GLASSES FROM THEM THROUGH A THIRD PARTY SELLER " SOLD BY CUSTOM ONLINE TRADER" they are out of CHINA WHICH I DID NOT KNOW. I placed my order August 7 and they were promised to arrive on Aug. 14-15. THAT DIDNT HAPPEN! So I checked the website and the date had been moved to Aug. 17 with no notifications as to this happening, you got it that day came and went.......guess what they arrived the day AFTER THE SOLAR ECLIPSE WITH NO NOTIFICATION STILL. When they did not come in on the 17th I tried to cancel the order as I was heading to South Carolina for the event So I wrote WALMART.COM AS WELL AS THE SELLER TWICE AND NO ONE HAS RESPONDED!!!! I did speak with a person on the phone and she was going to email them and ask them to get in touch with me. I have not heard a word from anyone as of yet! I was shopping for a 75 inch TV on Monday, 6/5/23 & went to Best Buy. Nobody seemed to be interested in selling anything, so I found someone & asked for help. That person said to give him my name, & he'd see if someone might be able to help me in 10-15 minutes. I looked around the huge store & could see maybe 4 or 5 employees anywhere in the store. I said, "Okay, I'm headed for Walmart. I went to the Supercenter in Cumming. Daniel helped me, was extremely knowledgeable, helped me select the best one for my needs, & helped me load it onto my trailer. I complimented him on his knowledge & told him I was going to share my compliments with Walmart management. I called personnel & spoke to Martha. She laughed & said they don't often get compliments, but plenty of the opposite of compliments. She knew Daniel & agreed with my comments. She said she would tell his immediate supervisor & the store manager also. I don't know that I've ever called a store to compliment an employee, but Daniel's conduct inspired me to invest the time & energy this time. If you need to buy any electronics, go to Walmart Supercenter in Cumming & see Daniel. He knows his stuff. Today I went to Walmart on Market Place Boulevard in Cumming, GA., to have my oil changed and tires rotated. When I pulled up to the automotive department I was very happy that there was no one before me. I get in the store and there is no one inside either. I'm thinking that I have really scored -with no wait. I can get my car service and take advantage of the after Christmas sales while waiting. This is great! So I thought. A young woman named Maggie came from a room behind the counter and asked how she could help me. I replied I'd like to have my oil changed and tires rotated. Maggie then asked for my telephone number. I replied 678... Before I could say anything else another customer came and stood in line behind me waiting his turn to be served. Maggie then for no explainable reason called the customer up to the counter and began to check him out. I said wait a minute. You should finish with me first then help the next customer. Maggie replied "ok I will" as she continued to cash out the customer. I turn to leave the store and thought no this is not right. So I asked to speak with the manager. Maggie goes back into the same room to summons the manager, Eddie. As he approached the counter Maggie then said something to Eddie about me. I explain that when I came in the store there was no one here. I wanted to have my oil changed and tires rotated. Maggie asked for my telephone number. While stating my area code another customer came up behind me waiting in line to be checked out. For no explainable reason Maggie called the customer from behind me the check him out. Now he is walking out the door with his purchase and I'm standing here waiting to give her my phone number. Eddie told Maggie to help one customer at a time. Finish one then go to the next one. Maggie then replied with a rude statement and I replied in kind. She then turned to Eddie and said that she was refusing to help me because I was rude. Then Eddie attempted to gather my information. By this time I could not in good conscience spend one red cent in that store. I called to speak with the store manager to report my experience. The person who answered the phone sounded as if she was answering her home telephone. There was absolutely no professionalism at all. I asked to speak to the store manager. The woman replied "I don't even know if the store manager is in the store." She put me on hold for 15 minutes only to come back and ask why I was calling. I told her I'd like to report how I was treated in the store today. I was put on hold again. I hung up after 45 minutes. I don't believe Maggie will suffer any consequences behind her behavior. Simply because employees like Maggie have the mentality that people like me need Walmart. In actuality if it were not for people like me you would not have a job! Do understand that I plan to share this experience will all my family/friends and advice then not to spend their hard earn money with companies that employee rude and disrespectful people such as Walmart. The registers are never opened anymore except self checkout. I have contacted Corporate and have never heard anything back. Every time I go into the store now I hear people complaining about lanes not being open. Sometimes there may be one lane open to check out but the line is backed up forever. Everyone has been complaining about this as well as not being able to get help and so forth. Now Walmart is trying to become another Amazon are adding a new membership thing online (isn't that what SAMS is for). It appears Walmarts getting greedy as if they're not making enough money as it is. Switching to Target even though they may be a little more expensive. Walmart has been remodeling this location for a few months now - remodeling was completed last week and the store looks fantastic. Clean, well stocked, great layout. And of course great prices. This walmart is entirely inadequate and lacking in customer service. Needless to say, I will not be returning until this Walmart gets their shit together. It would seem that if I ever need assistance at this Walmart that it would need to take a minimum of 20 minutes for something as simple as checking the back for a bag of poultry. The employee who was supposed to be working in the poultry area wasn't there initially and ended up ignoring me. I waited an extra 10 minutes for two employees that appeared to be in a management position were making their rounds and I was finally helped. This poor store needs a major overhaul. Employees are spread so thin! Stood at the Sporting Goods counter 10 min waiting for help. Help arrived to tell us that they couldn't sell fishing licenses due to a computer issue. The store itself just looks unkempt and a little dirty. Again, too few employees. The associate cannot help at all either and blames everything on the 3rd party delivery service, c.) states he'll leave 'a note' to see IF someone can give me a refund TOMORROW because d.) Had an appointment at Northside so I beat the traffic and shopped at the Walmart in Cumming, Georgia. Nice store and friendly employees. The produce shelf was empty of shredded cabbage. We asked an employee who went into the storeroom and brought out fresh bags for us. Next we headed for Health and Beauty for a curling iron. Lots of selection available. We also got some fresh sliced ham and cheese. Again, lots of selection to choose from. 165.00 dollars later we were done. Won't need to shop again for a while. The only thing keeping me from giving five stars was the condition of the ladies room in the front of the store. No door locks, nothing to hang or lay your purse on and some stalls unusable. The baby changing table was also unusable. Use the ladies room in the back of the store, through the electronic department. It's much cleaner. read more

Beware assigning this Walmart as your pick up location for online orders. After a 7 day wait, I went on the evening of the day it was supposed to arrive and my order was apparently not processed yet despite the tracking system said it arrived to the store at 10 AM. They told me to wait for the email confirming the order was ready for pickup. I waited for 3 days and still no confirmation order was sent to me, so I dropped by the store and I was told my order was never received and they were still asking me to wait for some hours because perhaps it was still processing. I called customer service later that day and the agent told me that the order indeed arrived to that store and X person signed it. He called the store on my behalf to see if any manager could find my order, but no luck. The customer service agent issued a replacement order and I will have to wait another 3-5 business days in order to receive the item I ordered 10 days ago. I'm very disappointed with how the situation was handled. If the item was really never received they could have told me the first day I showed up. read more

Very disappointed at this Walmart in Cumming GA (#878)! I've been there on many occasions and the shelves are very bare, the store is dirty and so disorganized. It's like this location is trying to sell through its inventory, due to the store closing. I was also disappointed in some of the staff members, and how unprofessional they were. While walking through the cold/freezer section, I overheard an associate (while walking with a customer) ask another Walmart staff a product stocking question. The worker was very rude in answering the associate, with "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" While checking out, there were 2-3 registers, with the lights on (meaning they were open), that were unattended. I waited at one for well over 10 min, asking another cashier if this one was open and where was the attendant. She ask another cashier, but still no one came. This store needs an overhaul, from the top down! I understand that its one of the low price leaders, but no matter the price, I won't shop at this location again until something changes. Something is wrong with the picture when there's employees standing around everywhere, all the while there's three checkout lines open, two are having problems, and the rest is self checkout. I had 158 items in my cart and had to go through self checkout and obviously bag all those items myself while others behind me were having to wait, and like I said, employees everywhere not bothering to care about customer service. Coming from a place with no Wal-Marts, walking through here is amazing. Amazing in a bad way or a good way? I will leave that for you to decide. Beyond the fact that Wal-Mart is a major corporation and not healthy for the economy (that's all I am saying about it!) this place makes it really easy for families to stop in and get what the need. We went in on a Saturday, and is was pretty busy, but things were moving. We found some t-shirts that we couldn't find within the Boston city limits, and the selection of products is huge. And available 24 hours a day. That in itself is pretty amazing to me because nothing works that way in Boston. read more

For a fairly nice area, this store always feels a bit unsafe. Pharmacy is slow and rude, TLE is slow and rude, they never have anything I am looking for, are constantly out of stock on items, and in typical Walmart fashion checking out is painful and slow due to crappy self checkout registers and not enough cashiers at the other ones. GUARANTEED RESULTS! I like having Walmart close to my home. However, the advantage is often lost because they don't always have what I need and I have to deal with poor and inefficient staffing. I prefer this location because it is easy for me to get in and out and they usually have what I need. Because of its convenient location, I am able to do all of my shopping in a concentrated area. On this hot day, I simply had my husband drop me off and wait in the car. I knew that it would not take long as I was looking for something very specific, ( a special recommended blow dryer). I had the top three selections on my list and they had two in stock. I was able to get what I needed, expedite through self check and get out in record time. This store has been recently redone. The aisles are extra wide and the merchandise is well organized. Now that there is a stop light in front of the store on Marketplace Blvd, this is a much more attractive place to shop. Well, as attractive as Wal Mart can be. I have been waiting for almost three hours and they just pull my car inside to give me new tires. This has been a terrible experience. I will go somewhere else next time.
