I got out of my hotel bed at 4am just to realize they ARE NOT 24/7. What a waste of time!!

It starts off by the parking lot. Even if you're handicapped, GOOD LUCK! Expect to park miles away. Oh, and if it rains, bring your canoe because the middle of the lot always floods. Walmart is Walmart, you can't beat the prices on batteries, undershirts, and some household items. I'm not critiquing the chain. The staff, wow! Don't even think to ask where something is if you don't know Spanish. If you do, they will send your butt to "hardware" because no one knows where anything is so they send you to get lost in hardware. One last thing, if you think you're going to arrive early or late in the midnight hours because that's when it's the least busiest - WRONG! Good luck fighting your way though this place. You'll need to stop by Hooters or Chili's for a drink after the craziness! read more

I understand that all of us have jobs and can have frustrating days but customer service is a must when you work with CUSTOMERS. What happened to providing good service having good manners and treating people nice . I was today at this facility which I always go to . today I had a very bad experience when one of the cashiers spoke treated me in a bad way in front of everyone I decided to take it to the shift manger because all of us deserve to be treated in a respectful manner specially if you work cashier where you see and talk to hundreds of people a day. The same people who come with their hard earn money to purchase at this facility. There are plenty of other locations here in Miami I will never step foot in this branch. Main reason I go to chasiers is because I know they need their jobs and I have tried to not go to the self checkouts as much and I wait the long lines to be assisted by one of the cashiers not because I need it because I know how to scan my own items and pay my things but I always think in those cashiers that need their job. Mostly a disappointing experience. Parking's a hazel, mostly packed, and the lines to pay, hire a detective to spot that fast lane. Worst than being stuck on a toll traffic. But they DO have it all and they are 24/7. Here are my recommendations to make your visit worth your time. 1. Ask at the entrance, where to find what you're looking for. 2. DO NOT grab a cart if you don't need one. This will prevent you from stopping on every curve you take. 3. If you're not alone make that other person make the line to pay. 4. DO NOT go between 7:00pm to 11:00pm. You're better of taking a nap and going at 3:00am. 5. DO NOT visit during X-MAS! Go a week before or else you'll be surrounded by lunatics, messes on each isle and lost babies. I even heard the narrator on the speaker say something like "Carlos, area #26 recojer las caca de lavadores." ...I laughed. Good prices at Walmart. We normally stay at the Doral Inn and we walk across along the train lines, nice, friendly cool staff. The only downside at this Walmart is the Spanish boy... waaaaay. An employee approached me just like at the apple store rung up my items from my cart while still finishing shopping for the last few items . The only time I can go to this God forsaken jungle is at 3 in the morning. And even then there are lines at the cash register. It's just an awful experience all around. As much as I hate Walmart in principle (and often in practice), they succeed in seducing me with their low, low prices and vast assortment of goods. I was here most recently for a site to store pick up, which was relatively painless. This particular store (like most of them) is generally crowded and obnoxious, filled with people who have too many kids and too much time on their hands. Ug. But the prices are low, low, low, and this place has almost everything. So I guess I can't complain. It's right next door to Sam's Club, which is a billion times better (although boasts even worse lines), so if you can't find what you need at one of these two stores - try Mars. read more

I had several interactions with Walmart's customer service at different locations. They were all bad. BUT this location is different!! They were KIND, customer oriented, polite, and they went above and beyond to meet my expectations. I placed an order online. When I went to pick it up there were a few minor issues and they were all very nice to try and arrange all issues. I didn't take all names, but they were all great. Joshua, one of the managers, fixed my issues, and gave me a little discount for the ones he couldn't fix, helped me load a BBQ on the car. I never felt rushed or imposing. I was very surprised Walmart could have good customer service. read more

It's your standard 24 hour super Walmart. I went there and found everything I wanted- except for blueberries. The parking was a little crowded, but I managed to find a spot, and even though it was late, the check out didn't take too much time. If you want to make a day out of it, you can sit in the dining area or go to the McDonald's. read more

I've been to many Walmarts and this has to be my least favorite! While they have an extensive produce section (fruit and veggies), everything else is not worth the trip. This place was SO crowded when I went, that I could barely make it through the aisles. While there was a handful of employees managing the produce section and keeping it organized, I can't say the same for the rest of the store. I went through the other aisles, and while they were organized, in about 3 aisles there were giant carts of stuff left by employees (oftentimes covering a large portion of items that I'm sure people need access to). Other than that (and navigating through dozens of other people), it was fairly easy to find what I needed and be on my way. They seemed to have many cashiers open, and to my luck, I was able to find a cashier that had no line! As the lady in front of me paid, I put all of my stuff on the conveyor belt and was paying in no time. Parking was easy to find for me, but it does get crowded, so you may have to park further away from the entrance. read more

Some places in this store that are empty of staff, I was looking for some help about a product and nobody cares about me.

I have not gone to this Walmart often as it is not my main Walmart location but I have to say that I like the size of it, maybe a little difficult to navigate for someone new. There is a lot of parking out front although it always seems packed and it is easily accessible from the roads. It is in the same plaza as a Sam's club so that's also cool. The prices in the store seem decent and they have a very wide variety of foods to eat there or take to go which is not bad. It has a Mc Donald's in there which would be convenient if it was good but after trying it, it sucked... Hope they will put some better quality food provider in there. My rating might change as I go there more often in the future. read more

Horrible customer service!! I called to ask if they had any leaf blowers in stock, as I could order online and pick up in store at a later date. But I prefer to buy it at the store to use it asap. I called and was transferred 5 different times! None of them, until the last person, spoke English. The first guy didn't even seem to want to help. I asked: "Do you have any leaf blowers in stock?" And he immediately said no, no, we don't have. And I said oh cause I see them online and can pick up in store but wanted to know if you had any in stock now. He kept saying no, no, until finally he said ok hold on. I'm sure he had no idea what I was saying this whole time. Waited a couple minutes, and a lady answered, who again didn't speak English and had no idea what I was looking for and told me to hold on. I was transferred twice more, again with employees who didn't speak English. Call lasted 9 minutes until I finally spoke with someone who knew English. Not saying there's a problem with employees not speaking English, as we live in South Florida. But you would think management would have both English and Spanish speakers answering their phones! read more

Go in the middle of the night for everything but the pharmacy. Easy to shop then. After 5pm, it is very very crowded. A long line to enter the lot from 87th, long time to find parking and long lines to pay. I only go to the pharmacy during daylight and they are super helpful and I get in and out quickly! read more

This Walmart is huge but I was super disappointed with their selection. I barely found any meatless products like I do close to home. There was also no lactose free yogurt, ice cream, and only 1 selection of almond coffee creamer. Complete bust. This Walmart is always super crowded with barely room to get around, the lines are crazy, and customer service sucks. I don't plan returning to this location. What also blows my mind is the fact that Walmart makes so much money, and their shopping carts suck. I think it's time for some new ones! Even Fresco Y Mas was able to afford nicer ones. read more

First Walmart I go to where they close the cosmetics department at 10, honestly this Walmart has the worse customer service instead of them helping me get an item they give me attitude saying "we've closed cosmetics at 10pm for 6 months now" which is a damn lie. How does a Walmart Supercenter doesn't even have toilet or paper towel in the bathroom, not even one stall had toilet paper, that so crazy to me and on top of the they had someone sick working when the touch food and everything. Our flight to Miami landed at 6am, not real convenient for starting our vacation. However, I Googled and found this 24-hour Walmart Superstore about a 15 minute drive from the airport (we had rented a car at MIA). Because there are tight limits on liquids, etc. on flights, we decided not to bring much, but rather buy what we would need for our two week vacation in the Keys and Miami Beach. We found an okay selection of shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, lotion, sunscreen, bug repellent, beverages, and a pool noodle. I also found a huge, soft beach towel with a pineapple on it for $12.92. I had hoped to find a logo towel for Miami or the Florida Keys, but we didn't see those anywhere during our trip. Before flying home, we left most of these items (except the beach towel) for our condo's housekeeping staff since we couldn't take them on the airplane. read more

If I could give this walmart no stars I would. They are very rude and the lady at the fitting room is an idiot. The door was locked and she had put the number of items card on the door. Even though she could clearly see the number and the door was locked, she unlocked it and came into the room while I was naked. That is definitely not ok and made me feel very uncomfortable. she didn't even apologize for walking in on me. The men's restroom has at least one broken door and was dirty in a b-movie type of way. Many of paths in the food section had stock lying around and so much of it that customers were having difficulty maneuvering. Despite these drawbacks, much of it is very clean, including the outside, and it's a great location. Hoping they fix things up. read more

I'd rather crawl naked through crushed glass than set foot in this place again. There are ridiculously long lines and you almost can't park (or find a shopping cart inside) because they are EVERYWHERE in the parking lot. I could understand if this place was understaffed, but that is not the case. There are always way too many employees moping around in the store who are difficult to get assistance with too. One particular experience makes my blood boil. I called about 5 times and was transferred to their sporting goods department at 9pm one evening where none else would answer. I was reassured they would answer each time they transferred me and eventually quit answering their office phone. I took and chance and drove 20 minutes to pick up a fishing license and low and behold, the machine that printed them was out of paper. read more

This is a Spanish speaking Walmart. Although there are some individuals that speak English, it is still hard to get around if you don't know where everything is. If you live in the Doral area and you'd rather speak Spanish this is the Walmart to go to. read more

Is this store located in the United States? After entering this Walmart you will wish you never lived in Miami. It's a complete discrace to the science of customer service and human efficiency. If you enjoy non-english service, waiting in line for 30 minutes to buy 3 items or you'd love to see some of the people of Walmart Hall-of-Famers this is your place. An absolute nightmare experience every time I have to come here (work purchases). First of all, Im fascinated with linguistics. I love various cultures and hearing other languages is so beautiful. A big reason why I love Miami... However, when there is not someone on duty that can translate all of the various languages --- this becomes a problem. I am pretty good with non-verbal communication and I can work around language barriers, but not apathetic employees. Not only should there should be a multilingual manager on duty at all times --- there should be staff members that care about customer service. Many people around me were experiencing multiple issues with the staff. No one seemed to know where anything was --- and not knowing how to take tax exemptions (on 6 visits) has cost my employer a huge expense. It wasn't bad customer service, it was shocking. As if all of the employees were annoyed that you even came into the store. Towards the end of my last visit I was ready to scream and thought...maybe it's me...I am going to ask these 3 ladies chatting if they know where the pool skimmers are (as they were standing DIRECTLY in front of them). They all said No and shook their heads and said that they didnt carry pool skimmers and that I would have to go to a pool store. RUN!!! read more

Super convenient and great prices however the service standard are dismal. Walmart needs to consider adding additional cashiers specially during the holidays. This store makes so much money, yet customers are forced to stand in very long lines. Average wait during evenings and night can be approximately 30 minutes. Unacceptable Walmart! Employees here are rude, dont speak English, and have zero customer service. I personally witnessed an employee rolling her eyes when a customer asked her a question. You speak to someone in English and they respond in Spanish. I mean, I know it's Miami but really? It's like employees at this store do the bare minimum, with crabby faces and snarky attitudes and somehow that is ok. Blehhh.
