It's surprising to me that the reviews here are so low. We live down the street from this location so it's very convenient. We typically purchase food at other stores but it's a great place to pick up over the counter medication, energy drinks, and small toys. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Would rate 0 stars if I could. Wouldn't price match their own website. Claimed it was an online only offer. Strange because a WalMart a few miles away did price match the SAME deal 45 minutes prior. Manager didn't care and at 6:45am it wasn't as though she had been there for any period of time to have a long enough day to get to that point. Offered 0 solutions just kept saying "no thats online only". Customer service really started to die when COVID hit and its not coming back to life anytime soon when policies aren't the same from Walmart to Walmart. It's not like they have franchisees, they're not Skyline Chili. Asking a one of the biggest retailers in the country to be consistent from store to store isn't unfair or unreasonable. read more

I'll preface by saying that I'm not particularly picky about my Walmart locations. My expectations are set: I know it'll typically be a massive store with a wide selection and great pricing. This location only hit on the massive scale and pricing part... Things were off to a great start. On a weekday, there was plentiful parking and the exterior appeared clean. Walking towards the entrance, there was even lively pop music playing through the speakers. Unfortunately, many items on my shopping list--none of which were particularly obscure, we're talking Ziploc bags and simple snacks--were not in stock. Not sure if we arrived on the day in-between shipments, but this seemed to be the trend in other areas of the grocery section including dairy and beverages. When it came time to check out, there was a queue of nearly 10 shoppers for self-checkout and a mounting queue of 5+ guests in the only lane with a cashier. Overall, we were still able to acquire nearly all the items we needed but it was a less-than-ideal experience. Hopefully the in-stock selection and check-out experience are improved in the near future. This would definitely be a great location if it did, as the store is still large and well-kept with good pricing. read more

Since moving and this is a close location, I can say that this particular location isn't bad. I didn't go to the grocery side but I went to the other side where the clothing and other items were at. The store is very clean overall but of course, WalMart has never had many people at any of their checkout areas so it's a line for self checkout. The shelves and store vibe is good. I only gave it three stars for the lack of employees there even though it's not a super center but on busy days like the first of the month can overwhelm the staff and customers waiting in line to check out read more

Okay, I just arrived back from yet another trip from this Walmart and I have to drop a star from my rating Now I could complain about their lack of Apple/Google pay support in leu of their in-house mobile pay option with their mobile app (which uses QR codes instead of NFC? ), which is just another hoop to jump through at checkout, Nah, I'll pass But no, this isn't about that (though it still bothers me... Grumble ) So I go in today to purchase a wading pool to give our dogs a bath in Now in my head, I would imagine this to be somewhere between toys and camping/sporting goods (around aisles I11 to I19 or along I30) near where the bikes are, it just makes sense to me... But nope So I bring up the the ol' trusty (yeah right!) Walmart app on my iPhone and search wading pools, and great, they had some in stock... In the seasonal area (in aisles F5 and F9 in particular), so I go over to take a look NONE!!! No, they weren't out of stock, there wasn't even a spot for them, WHAT!?!? (I'll include a screenshot showing the app showing that location) Well, the app/website has been known to be wildly inaccurate, and this isn't the first time I've experienced this with Walmart's app/website, I was even told by an employee at the Britton Parkway location just how inaccurate it is So the question now is, in what way is it inaccurate, was it listing it in stock when it wasn't, or was it listing the location wrong? So to solve this, I start looking around for someone to ask... You could just see the tumbleweed blow by, there was NOBODY around! I then go to Customer Service only to find out it's closed So I just start searching around the garden area (which to me makes no sense, it's a wading pool, not a bag of potting mix) and just as I walk out to the outdoor portion, there's a whole stack of wading pools between some shelves of potted plants and bags of salt... Umm, what? To me, that's like going to the bakery to get cheese, or Electronics to get a chainsaw, wading pools are NOT used for gardening Now while it's location didn't make sense to me, that's not the issue here, I have been in many stores where the location of an item doesn't make sense to me, I can still find the item pretty easily because their app or website actually works and/or there are actually helpful staff around to guide me to where it is, something Walmart seems to be seriously lacking in read more

Surely I've reviewed this before? But, okay. I've been here a few times. It's a little off the beaten path (for me) and doesn't seem quite as busy as the Easton one, or even the Westerville one. I wanted to make a quick stop for one thing, and was able to do that. In and out. Quicker than expected, because they didn't have what I wanted. But, at least no wasted time. The entrances are restricted for social distancing, but at least you can tell from the parking lot which one is the entrance (unlike some places that make you walk right up to the wrong door.) I'm not a Walmart fan, but the prices and selection sometimes draw me in. This one is not awful. read more

This small change will hopefully save customers from YOUR DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR! Please understand this review is for you and you only!! This should not reflect on the amazing service the assistant manager and customers service specialists provide me today on my return to finish my exchange. When I said "just give me a moment to speak with my husband". I would have sent him out to the exchange and I would have proceed to the customer service desk. But you yelling at us! Escalating the issue by telling us to get out! was absolutely despicable and you should be ashamed of yourself. In return to finish my transaction and was emotionally spent and could not stop myself from crying. We have had a death in our family and I have been trying my best to keep it together. The employees thought me and my sisters were gonna steal a bike because we were "taking to long to pick one". We were trying to get the right size for my sister and the security guard told us that the employees were telling us to leave the area. Multiple employees kept circling around us for no reason and told the security guard to tell us to leave. This Walmart is horrible! They're always understaffed and a lot of the employees are unfriendly. If you go to the jewelry counter, there is never an associate working at any time of the day. We stood there one day for over 30 minutes with 4 other people waiting for an associate (ON THE SATURDAY BEFORE MOTHER'S DAY, of all days!). We kept pressing the button on the screen to page an associate, no one would ever come, though it showed that they had been paged. The other 4 people left, and my fiancé went to the service desk and had them page someone overhead. FINALLY someone shows up. He let us look at one ring and then put it back and walked off. We were still looking! Management of this store needs to hire more employees and train them in customer service. The only reason why I'm giving them a two star rating instead of one is because they do seem to keep most of the items stocked. read more

This location is not stocked. I've been in there several times lately and there are lots of empty shelves. Yesterday I was trying to buy 3 things and 2 of them were not in stock. Photo paper for printer there was only one package and it was opened outside and the inner wrapper. All the other sizes and were empty. When I asked the employee in the area if they had any she took the opened package away from me and put it back on the shelf. I paid $98 for a year of free grocery delivery. You go online, add items to your cart, and when you checkout you choose a one-hour window in which they are supposed to deliver your groceries. I placed an order 2 days ago to have groceries delivered between 10 AM and 11 AM today. It's almost 10 PM and I still haven't received my groceries. I've received one email saying my order is delayed, with no indication of when my groceries will be delivered. I called and was sent to voicemail, which is of course full. This is the third time in 4 months or so that my groceries have been ridiculously late. Last time I called Walmart's home office to cancel my "Walmart+" but they refused to give me a refund. Will switch to Kroger, which is 40% cheaper, as soon as my year is up. read more

My family of 5 splurged and ordered groceries for delivery on 8/17/24. The order was delivered, but it was entirely the wrong order. The delivery driver returned the order to the store without letting us know what to do or when to expect our order. We called the store, and the woman we spoke to ("DeeDee") was extremely rude and unhelpful. She spoke over me and kept asking which item was wrong, when we told her multiple times that it was the entire order. Her only resolution was to place another order which would include paying another delivery fee and driver tip. When I asked to speak to another person, she said she was the only one I could speak to. She also blamed the delivery driver for grabbing the wrong order, even though the label on my bags had my name on them. She was unwilling to issue a refund and gave me a corporate number to call. They rescheduled our delivery for between 5-7 that evening. At 7:30, our order still had not been delivered. I tried calling the store 3 times with no answer. My husband called and they answered on the second ring, which made me wonder if they were dodging my calls. Once again, they were unable to help us and told us to call the national number. Eventually, our order was canceled and is supposed to be refunded, although it has not been yet. My family and I frequent this Walmart at least weekly and have never had an issue with pickup orders or inside the store itself. The customer service during this experience has been nonexistent and we were unable to talk to anybody within the actual store besides Dee Dee. There was no answer on any other extension we tried. This was extremely frustrating and we will no longer be customers. read more

This review is ONLY for the grocery pickup service and not the retail in-store experience (which I would barely give 2.5 stars). The online grocery shopping and pickup is a FREE service that I would enthusiastically recommend to everyone - and I do. I hope this service is around for a long time because it's awesome. I have been using the online grocery pick up service since it rolled out nearly 2 years ago. While I find the online shopping user interface to be sub-par, the people who shop the grocery pick up and bring it out to our vehicles are just wonderful. These folks always go the extra mile for customer satisfaction and I cannot express how much easier they make my life. In the beginning, like every new operation, there were a few bumps and that is to be expected. I would say the bumps were minimal and, most often, out of the control of the people working the operation. When the Grocery side migrated to a new online system, my favorite items disappeared and I had to reset *all* of them. In fact, it happened in the middle of an order, which was extremely frustrating! This is clearly a systems issue for headquarters to fix vs. a local issue. Since then, things have gone along just fine and the service is quite consistent and good. The only issue is the traffic flow and parking for the pickup, which the store manager needs to pay attention to and solve. At first, we had numbered parking spaces that we would pull into and then we would call the pickup line to let them know we had arrived. When the first winter came, it was very clear that system wouldn't work as the employees had to try to pull their carts from the back door up to the side parking. With snow or inclement weather, there was no way that'd work. Now, we all pull around to the back door and it never fails that people pull in all different ways and traffic flow is completely thrown out the window. There needs to be clear organization [park here] as well as directions for traffic flow [people do whatever they want instead of staying on the right side of the road like we do with everything else]. Letting customers know exactly where they should be and how they should get there would definitely improve the experience. This is desperately needed. Otherwise, good job Walmart grocery online pickup people, you are awesome! read more

You know those raging, ranting, foam-at-the-mouth reviews that you often see on Yelp? Stay tuned, I am about to blow a gasket. Walmart, if you don't know, is a community trashing eyesoar run by a corrupt and incompatant management. I hate shopping them, they care nothing--that is zip, nada, zero--for the customer. You and I are just chumps to them, mere means to profit, period. If they can transfer their cost of business to the customer they will. If they can take your money for nothing they will. They are an unamerican blot, a festering, stinking sore on our nation. I should had known better than to shop there. But they had a phone I needed. Usually I go to my local phone shop. Years ago I went there to buy Virgin Mobile--I like their no contract plans. Well my phone died, so I went to that local shop to replace it. Sadly, they stop carring VIrgin. The clerk told me they only sell them at Big Box stores. Wal Mart he named. I was peeved at this; Wal Mart doesn't have the service like small shops do. So I came to this Wal Mart to get a Virgin Phone. In 'friendly' Wal Mart fashion the minimum wage clerk rang me up, bagged the phone, and handed it to me. He asked me if I had an account, I answered in the positive, and that was it. They don't set it up? Probably not--Just your money please. They didn't tell me the catch, no it took a helpful clerk at that little store I wanted to buy from to tell me that, three hours later. At home I had a hell of a time switched my account over to the new phone. Trying to do it online, it kept saying the MEID number was already in use. But it is a new phone. Angered, in only a way a son of Ireland can be, I marched off to my little Boost shop I used to use, planning on switching carriers. That didn't work, but the clerk went out of his way to help by calling. An hour later we found out that Wal Mart pre-activate their phones, meaning they are already have a unique phone number and I can not transfer mine over. Yet there wasn't a sign, nor any info on the packaging, nor did a clerk say anything that this was the case. This shows how corrupt, incompetent, and contemptuous of the customer Wal Mart is by: 1.) Pre-activating their phones is to lock-in activating fees for themselves. That way they need not do it for the customer at the time of purchase. This is against regular business ethics as pre-activating hurts Virgin Mobile--who because if Wal Mart market share can't pull the phones from Wal Mart Stores--for Wal Mart gain. Going through this grind makes me angry at VM, but it is Wal Mart who did it. 2.) Pre-activating is incompetent. The executive that decided this thinks it is a prudent move, but his meager weak brain can't preceive the fact that people already with Virgin Phones may need to replace those phones and can't if they are pre-activate the phones--duh! 3.) Not giving a customer a hint that the phones are pre-activated is just not caring. I wasted a Saturday morning on a busy time of year, gas, and stress because they can't do business correctly. Don't buy phones here. Don't buy electronics here. Don't buy anything here, or at any Wal Mart. They need to rot into the crap muck they came. read more

I am seeing more and more dogs in shopping carts where I place my food. When I say things to management. They say it's very common. I shop here like every day. I spend a lot of money in this particular store. I'm a chef and safety and sanitation is at the top of my list. I understand service dogs but this needs to stop. This is the bright, new shiny business in the neighborhood. They demolished the former Kroger store and knocked out some other smaller businesses to build their new store. In fairness, the strip mall had been going downhill until Walmart stepped in to prop it back up. Gaining access to the store is problematic. Sawmill road is a disaster. Attempting to navigate to the Walmart here ... while hurry and wait. It's only bound to get worse with some of the other new development going on. The parking is fairly barren now to make room for lots of car parking. So, there is plenty of open spaces to park. I do caution navigating through the parking lot. It now gets pretty crazy in there and folks are not always paying attention to driving. It just seems the parking lot is a bit haphazardly laid out. I don't frequent Walmart stores often, just my preference. The store is big, but I would have to agree it is not as large as other stores. There is a good size grocery department inside. Other departments did not seem to be as big as other locations. The store service reps were friendly and willing to help. It did seem, however, that they are still trying to figure out how to get things to flow smoothly based on comments I heard them state. read more

Pretty much your run of the mill Walmart, except this one had to be placed on an already overly busy road. Sawmill Rd sees almost 30,000 cars a day and it can take 20 minutes to make it a mile to and from 270. This was not the right spot for a Walmart. Either way, I will focus my review on the store. As far as Walmarts go, this one seems kinda small compared to the one on Bethel and at Lewis Center. I think it also closes so it's not 24/7. They did a nice job of cleaning up the parking lot area, but made a huge traffic mess during construction for people who commuted daily up Sawmill and they disrupted cell towers for a couple weeks. A few new businesses opened up beside them in what was once a desolate run down area, the ones that remained such as the Siam Orchid have hit the lottery with this magnet store around. It's not too much of an eyesore but they did cut down a lot of the big trees around and replanted little ones. I hate it when they do that. The store is brand new and so everything is nice. Floors are nice. Bathrooms are nice. Even smells nice as there hasn't been time for that stench of hopelessness and desperation mixed with sweat to stink it's way in like 99% of Walmarts. Staff is clueless like at any other Walmart and you can't ever find someone when you need help. read more

Terrible even by Walmart standards. Busiest shopping week of the year right before Chrismas and they have nobody working the sales floor. Went here to buy an expensive vacuum cleaner but all the display models are tied down to the shelf up high so you can't put them on the ground to see how they feel or look at them up close. All the prices tags are mismatched with the displays and boxes so you have no idea what anything costs and all the vacuum cleaners in boxes are security tied to the shelf so you can't buy one without getting an employee to help you but there are no employees anywhere to be found. read more
