PAY ATTENTION TO PRICES AT THIS STORE! Twice within a two-month period, I have experienced this…read more'Dynamic Pricing' ripoff at this Abertson's located on Kenworthy Street in NE El Paso. The store uses those electronic price tags. The price tags will indicate one price, but the item scans at a higher price at check-out. Again, this has happened to me twice in the past two months. For example, a pack of 8 tortillas was listed as $3.99 on the electronic price tag, but scanned at the register as $6.99. As I sat and thought about it, if this is a store scam against customers, then it is the perfect store for doing so, since many of its customers are elderly. Two more things I need to point out: 1) Another customer had the same pricing issue, and 2) The 'customer watcher' at the self check-out comes right over and makes the price change with no questions asked. It's flaky as hell, and I advise everyone to do an experiment by taking pictures of the price tags before going to the check-out.

We had very rude, lazy & vile treatment from Customer Service at Costsco Alhambra in California. BUT this is the tradgic part, there was one gentleman in Alhambra customer service that helped us and called my mother in law in El Paso Texas to help us resolve the issue two weeks previously. Sadly, this gentleman that gave us help and actually listened to us was thrown under the bus for listening and trying to help resolve an issue by the Supervisor. This Supervisor was trying to stir the pot and got her minions to support her bad customer service. I feel bad for the young man in customer service, he was great. Why isn't this guy a supervisor?! He gave us professionalism and courtesy ...he should be a supervisor?! Why?! Why is it that this great customer service rep in Costsco Alhambra is not promoted to supervisor. He listened and tried to help us but instead we got Supervisor Tweedle dum and subordinates Tweedle dummers trying to make us look feel like trash and swindlers. One subordinate was named Norma, she stood out for being the worst, she yelled at my hubby when we attempted to go back and get that gentleman to help us as a second attempt. (We thought we would get the next shift and avoid those lousy abusive Customer Service Reps and her repugnant Supervisor...that didn't happen!) It took us two weeks and two days for my husband and my mother in law to get this stupid thing "resolved." Perhaps it may take longer, we need to go back to Alhambra Costsco and give them an email for Costco El Paso Texas so that my mother in law can retrieve and change the membership. My mother in law wants to mail the rewards to us...lol. The funny part is that I have dealt with customers when there were strikes on the ports...so I dealt with crazy customer. What is the excuse for being lazy and then casting blame on someone that should be supervisor.

He got on the radio and told me to go back to the isle and someone would meet me their. I waited for 10 minutes and an employee checked the item for me and told me the size wiper blades i needed were up on the rack and to come back in 15 minutes so they could have the forklift pull down the pallet. I continued shopping and went back within 15 minutes and waited for another 5 minutes. My wife had went to the checkout and i continued to wait. I gave up after 8 more minutes and went to the checkout. My wife had already checked out and was waiting for me. When i came to her she asked me where the woper blades were and i told her no one had yet to show up at the isle. We asked another employee and he said they were on their way to the isle to pull the pallet. When i arrived, they had sectioned of the isleway and the forklift was there. Now 25 minutes have went bye and i guess the forklift operator was a ROOKIE he told another employee he couldnt get the pallet down. Needless to say we just left. Terrible customer service. Suggest you train your ROOKIE forklift operators better so they can accomplish the task at hand. 25 minutes if waiting with no results.

So, I figured "OK, it has 17 grams more sugar each than I want to ingest, but I'm neither able to effectively nor efficiently pedal my Doublevision, upon which I could carry as much weight as wanted, and shifted to a much lighter aluminum extruded CruzBike, where it behooves me to watch every bit of weight--even with a much heavier 26 x 1.5" Direct Drive wheel and TWO batteries. Anyway, another reason I frequent Walgreens when traveling/biketouring is the opportunity to obtain small bills of cash. Very often, merchants or eateries I stop at cannot break a larger bill ($20, $50, $100) or are "cash only". Additionally, there are times when I just need a piece of bona fide dark (60%+ cacao) chocolate, or, rarely, an ice-laden fountain drink like Mountain Dew (which gives me both sugar AND my daily pm fix of caffeine!).
