She looked over at us (parked in front of the tire bay), smirked and walked with the gentleman to his vehicle. While waiting, another vehicle pulls up and she looks at us and blatantly ignored us. She started assisting the new driver. I got out of my vehicle, walked past her, into the building. I spoke with Garrett and requested the manager. He came quickly. I explained my situation and concerns. He assured me that I would be taken care of and immediately. He found my tires and got us started. (Carlos, the manager) He even took our groceries out to the car. He made sure that we were getting better customer service. While speaking to the manager, Carlos, Lindsay walked to my vehicle and addressed my family. She stated that it was a 2-3 hour wait and someone else was in front of us. Shopping at a store where one is treated as if they are shoplifters is unacceptable. I am 100% against waiting to leave the store. Waiting to have a clerk tell me that I can leave the store. Wow, this place has taken a turn for the worst. Dirty diapers smashed everywhere in the parking lot. No carts because they are all half way parked on curbs around the parking lot. I watched a man walk out the door today without paying for a larger item. I went up to the door security and informed her. I gave her the description of the man, and she didn't care at all. She stated, "I just came on work" and that was it. I'm sure his crime is on the Walmart security camera. It baffles me that they let this go. Walmart complains about theft but does nothing. was escorted to the front register with the container of baby formula I wanted to purchase as if I was a criminal. They already have it locked up in a case, but had an employee come take it out for me just to tell me that she has to put it up at the customer service counter if I want to continue shopping for other things, and that I could go get it when I'm ready to checkout. In the last 2 weeks I've been to this store 3 times. Out of Mott's Cherry Apple Juice and out of a certain cleaning sponge I like use. The store has no AC, very warm and it smelled. The line to check out was ridiculous. You have all these self check outs not even half of them open. Plus only two you can only use cash with. There were only 3 cashier registers open. The two employees up front that is I guess is suppose to me monitoring the lines and helping people were on their phones. What is the purpose of those people checking the receipts at that door. I spend thousands of dollars at this store every year and you are stop me for $50 worth of groceries. Not only that but we had 3 different receipts today, I was already out the doors while my mum showed her one of the receipt with only had 1 item on it. Your effort to show control for a security and "asset" protection is all for show and inconvenience to people who work hard for their money have to be berated like that. This is a decent Walmart. Location and parking are very good, as are their typical strengths (dry goods, pet foods, paper goods). Produce and meat, as with all Walmarts I've been to, are a bit hit or miss. Worth a visit if you need a Walmart product, I haven't seen cleanliness issues here yet. read more

One of the better Walmarts because they actually staff quite a few checkout lanes. Because of sun city nearby, lots of elderly shoppers, and strangely, lots of small dogs being carried around the store - including grocery - which is just unsanitary. Bad, bad management & Customer Service. Attempted to return a cheap drain stopper ($5) & had receipt & item in unopened package. I had my bank card hacked so they could not give me a credit back to that card & demanded I accept a Walmart Gift Card. Since when is my money Walmart's money? I asked for them to either credit my new bank card from the same bank & the same name on the card or give me cash. This "manager" wearing an old, dirty Tshirt told me either accept the Walmart Gift Card or leave. For an item under $10! I left. Ashley Faulkner in the Vision Care is amazing. Ashley is very technical and gracious. She told me she's been in the optical dept for 23 years and boy did it show. She knew her stuff and I totally agreed with all he suggestions. Clearly she sets the bar for all the customer service staff and should train the rest to be so proficient and maintain a great attitude. Self check is almost all there is at this location. I was standing in line for a checker checkout and spoke to several around me. They were all older people and all had similar outlooks, I.e., they will not take someone's job away by checking themselves out. After all, they don't get paid, nor is there any discount for giving Walmart higher profits. Nope, the general consensus was when the last checkout person disappears so will these shoppers. We may not be a large majority, but soon the rest of those self checkout people will be replace, too. So then, where will they get their money??? Pay attention people! The products are always mislabeled, usually with the price tag of something which costs a third the actual price. With the frequency it happens I can only assume they are either intentionally mislabeling products at the managers direction, or intentionally not reorganizing misplaced items, either way to pad the managers bonus. Half the shelves are usually empty, though oftentimes the product is sitting there visibly in the middle of a pallet sitting on the floor that they are too lazy to unpack. If you bother to ask for a manager, a team lead (like Violet) will show up. She will blame you for their staffing shortages, insist that they couldn't possibly be lazy but the pallet must have just gotten there, and then threaten you with police when you start recording her because she knows her incredibly rude and aggressive attitude will get her fired. Meanwhile they cost more than HEB (which has no such staffing shortage), treat their employees worse, and never have more than two cashier's on duty, both of whom will have a line of multiple people and move more slowly than a sloth (probably because they're hiring people with disabilities - I've seen a few stores with cashiers who only had one arm and had to physically turn their whole body to move an item from belt to bag - in order to pay them even less. Did you know you don't even have to pay minimum wage to disabled people?) In short, just save yourself the hassle if having to go two places and go to HEB from the beginning. read more

Warning -- do not purchase money orders from Walmart for online mobile deposits. I purchased money orders from Walmart for decades to mobile deposit my cash with no problems. However, Walmart stopped allowing mobile deposit recently without warning their customers. As a customer courtesy, a simple sign next to the money order ads would have been sufficient to warn me and I would have not purchase it. Also, the salesclerks will not provide receipts, salesclerks are supposed to provide receipts to customers without the customers asking for them, just like an automatic check out machine will print out a receipt without the customer asking for it. To return the money order because mobile deposit is prohibited, I had to wait 10 days to get my refund. Because I was not provided a receipt the store would charge a steep refund fee. This experience shows me the rip-offs and the atrocious customer services from Walmart. I also sent this complaint to the BBB. read more

Worst Walmart! They never answer if you need to get a hold of someone you need to select the option for pick up and they will transfer you but even then you probably won't even get an answer. The cashier who was ringing me up forgot to put items in the bag I did not notice because I was already overwhelmed. An elderly resident of the Georgetown area came into to your store on 10/13/24 around 4p-5p, she was riding in a motorized scooter because of her limited ROM. When she asked the cashier, Shelia, to double bag her waters she was ignored. The resident asked again and again she was ignored. When the cashier saw the resident drop her bag out of the basket, she did not acknowledge her or even help to pick up the bag full of groceries. Shelia seems to not enjoy her job very much and with a horrid attitude like that she really should not be working at Walmart!!!! Obviously not my call but maybe you know about this heartless employee. It's frustrating to see or hear about the elderly population being mistreated. The one thing we all have in common is that we all will be elderly one day. Hopefully Shelia can be counseled on how to be a better Walmart employee because she is a horrible human being in the eyes of everyone that had to listen to that heartbroken resident! Decided to shop at Walmart this week instead of H-E-B for a bit of nostalgia. Given that I'm from North Texas where there aren't any H-E-Bs, until moving south I was a big Walmart person. Well those days are done. Walmart holds nothing when you compare them to H-E-B. Sure they have more clothing and other stuff but so not worth it. I'll shop at specific stores for those things. The service was abysmal. At one point I was looking for a product, asked my cashier and was told he didn't know. Pushed for him to ask someone. A management staff member came up, confirmed they had it and then walked away. I'm in line with grocery's and no thought to offering to help me get it. Wow. Just wow. So guess I'll forget in five years and try it again but for now nope to Walmart for me. Take my advice go to H-E-B. read more

There was a very rude employee named Dione (girl with braces) who was very rude and interrupted me while I was going over my receipt with the cashier. She shouted very loudly in front of other employees and customers, very much out of turn since I did not address her but the cashier. She yelled "you need to take that to customer service" when I was just letting the cashier know that he made a mistake on my purchase. This girl was just rude. I told her she was rude and I told her I would complain to her manager Robert and she just shrugged it off and said in a flippant way "okay." This girl does not need to work at our local neighborhood Walmart. She should not be working with customers since she has no self awareness and no customer service skills. The store is extremely "ghetto." When you order online for pickup, you get about 50% of what you order. They never update their website to tell you something is "unavailable." It's MUCH better to simply bypass Walmart and go somewhere else. When you order from Walmart.com you get stuff literally tossed into a box WITH NO PACKING MATERIAL, and when you receive it, everything inside is dented and messed up. read more

What could have been a big hassle turned out to be an excellent experience with great customer service! Kirk in Auto was professional and by the book. I didn't get the names of the two that helped me in the customer service department but it was a very easy and quick process when all I had was the date and card number I used to retrieve my receipt for a battery I purchased a couple weeks back. The lady that found my receipt was very kind and the gentleman manning the booth as well. Thank you, Walmart in Georgetown! You've made my Saturday that much better. I'll be back! read more
